40 BREAKING LAWS AND 41 I WOULDN'T SAY I LIKE CANDIES, BUT I KNOW SOMEONE WHO DOES

We all break laws sometimes, intentionally or unintentionally, and sometimes we don't even realize it.

A human character should be considered.

Our character is what we do when we think no one is watching.

I Wouldn't Say I Like Candies, but I Know Someone who Does

My little neighbor Mark had a particular weakness for one thing: candy. His eyes would light up like fireworks whenever he saw a colorful candy in a store, and his heart would skip a beat at the mere mention of his favorite sweet treats.

One sunny afternoon, Mark noticed a new candy shop had opened its doors. The sign above the entrance read, "Sweet Delights". Unable to resist the temptation, Mark eagerly stepped inside, his senses overwhelmed by the sugary aroma that filled the air.

Behind the counter stood a wise older man with a twinkle in his eye.

"Welcome, young lad," he greeted Mark warmly.

"What brings you to my humble abode?"

Mark's eyes darted around the shop, taking in the vast array of candies that lined the shelves.

"I'm on a quest to find the most extraordinary candy in the world," he declared with a mischievous grin.

"Tell me, sir, what is your favorite candy?"

The older man chuckled, his eyes crinkling with amusement.

Royal Road is the home of this novel. Visit there to read the original and support the author.

"Ah, my favorite candy," he mused.

"That is a difficult question, young lad. Each candy has a unique charm, a story waiting to unravel."

Intrigued, Mark leaned closer, his curiosity piqued.

"Please, sir, share one of those stories with me."

The older man nodded, his eyes filled with nostalgia.

"Very well, young lad. Let me tell you the tale of the Enchanted Lollipop."

Mark's ears perked up, and he settled himself on a stool, eager to hear the story unfold.

"Long ago, in a land far away, there lived a young girl named Mary," the old man began.

"Mary was a kind-hearted soul, always seeking to bring joy to those around her. One day, she stumbled upon a magical lollipop hidden deep within an enchanted forest."

Mark's eyes widened with wonder as he imagined the mystical forest and the sparkling lollipop.

"The lollipop had the power to grant a single wish to whoever possessed it," the old man continued.

"Mary, being the selfless girl, she was, wished for happiness to spread worldwide. And so, with each lick of the lollipop, a burst of laughter and joy would fill the air, bringing smiles to even the grumpiest of faces."

Mark's heart swelled with delight at the thought of such a magical candy.

"Did Mary keep the lollipop forever?" he asked, his eyes gleaming with anticipation.

The older man shook his head, a knowing smile playing on his lips.

"No, young lad. Mary understood that true happiness lies in sharing, not hoarding. So, she passed the lollipop on to a young boy who needed it more than she did, and the cycle continued."

Mark sat in awe, his mind spinning with the possibilities.

"That is truly a remarkable story," he exclaimed.

"But, sir, what is your favorite candy?"

The older man chuckled once again, his eyes twinkling mischievously.

"Ah, young lad, my favorite candy is the one that brings a smile to your face. Ultimately, it is not the candy itself that matters, but the joy it brings and the memories it creates."

With those wise words, Mark left the candy shop, his heart filled with newfound wisdom. From that day forward, he realized that his favorite candy was not a specific treat but the joy and laughter he shared with others while indulging in the sweet delights of life. And so, armed with his quick wit and mischievous spirit, Mark set out to spread happiness, one candy at a time.
