Prologue

Night had fallen two hours ago, the streets were completely empty, not a sound could be heard. The only life that could be seen were the rare animals who passed sometimes, though today all those animals had decided to come at the same time, and stay at the same place.

Cats, Dogs, Lizards, Birds, you can name it, there were all types of animals standing in front of a cemetery. This scenery could already be called exceedingly bizarre, but it was even more so since all those animals were in a trance. They didn't move nor breath, as if life had left them a long time ago.

This scene laid in front of an old man who couldn't believe his eyes. He had come here with some roses to place on a grave, but instead had found a meeting of seemingly dead and yet still standing animals.

" W-What are you all doing here ? Come on, Shoo Shoo." Said the man, moving his hands around. The animals all looked at him and suddenly started to let out small moans of pain. The old man fell on his butt as he heard this and covered his ears when the moans became insanely loud.

The various animals were screaming their voices out, while a light began to shine in the starless sky. The old man looked up, the bright light of the shining star reflecting in his eyes. He felt as if his whole being was being judged, as if a higher being was analyzing his soul and every single of his secrets.

Whilst this happened, his body began to transform. In a matter of seconds, the old man had turned into a child with snow white hair and a strange bat symbol on his forehead.

" A little too weak, but that is all I can offer myself." Said a distant powerful voice. All of a sudden, the sea raged in the distance, clouds appeared and thunder striked the earth like Apocalypse had come.

People immediately left their houses after hearing the commotion and all bored witness to a scene that could amaze one for life. A star was moving in the sky, forming some sort of cross as the earth itself raged, as if it was trying to defend itself.

The sea defied gravity and was lifted in the sky, nearly reaching that small star. The ground shook as mountains crumbled while thunder filled the sky. All around the world, this scene repeated itself. It seemed that this was the last day of humanity.

However when the Earth shook like it was going to be crushed, the star stopped. Two gigantic white eyes appeared in the sky and gazed at all lives on this planet.

" Truly magnificient, for such a treasure to have stayed hidden for so long." The same distant voice resounded before the eyes disappeared and the star directly shot towards the little white haired boy. The star became smaller and smaller until it divided in two and entered the boy's eyes. The boy then fell to the ground, his eyes quickly closing on their own as gigantic structures arose from the ground all around the world.

The boy would only know of what happened years later, but he would most likely never come to know how he had changed the destiny of a whole race.

( China, 10 years later)

"The world had come to a drastic change after the structures appeared. Those ' Dungeons ' as they were apparently called by the creatures that came with them, had changed the whole world and it wasn't for the better.

Even after 10 long years, the world still couldn't adapt. The areas surrounding the dungeons had been abandoned, becoming the new territories of the various fantasy-like races that had suddenly appeared on earth. Elves, Orcs, Dwarves, Succubi, Fallen Angels and even Beastmen. Humans had lost control of their planet in a matter of mere months.

This book's true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience.

However they hadn't gone down without a fight. Nuclear Weapons were of course ruled out immediately, the public opposing their uses, though all the armies of the world were deployed.

The only nations that were strong enough to achieve small victories took back some treasures with them, which helped them survive for all those years. The others........Well China was the prime exemple of what they had become.

China was a strong country, one of the strongest, it could've survived.....Unfortunately the government of China had decided to attack first, which had proven to be a grave mistake. China could only survive for all those years because the territories next to it, namely what was India before had been taken over by the elves, a peaceful race that had decided to give a chance to the humans.

America fought, and it continued even to this date. The pacific had been taken over by the dwarves who seemed to be quite content to build underwater cities, and America was constantly harassed by those small devils. Europe was doing quite well, it had been united to become a single nation and had survived, even if some territories had been lost.

Humans were weak, however they were able to adapt frighteningly well, and it impressed the other races. As such, a few years ago, most wars ended. Peace was back, temporarily, and the nations were getting back on their feet. After the discovery of the dungeons and the other races, Humans also discovered the various energies that said races used. Chakra, Qi, Magic, Arcanes, Spiritual Energy and some weaker energies....Their discovery had effectively aroused the greedy heart of men.

Humans started to study those energies. They wanted to master them. They also came across items imbued with those energies after a team of incredibly courageous soldiers had explored the first floor of a dungeon. They also started to study those, wanting to master them as well.

Like always, Humanity adapted and after 10 years, we Humans can finally say that we overcame the Apocalypse." Exclaimed a clearly passionate doctor as a white-haired teenager looked at him with dead eyes. The family standing on the side all started to cough, indicating that the doctor should probably leave, and the man did. This family was composed of a fairly muscular man wearing some sort of plate armor, a woman dressed in a plain red dress and two young women who were wearing black suits.

" He's clearly still out of it." Said the man, causing the others to sigh.

" I thought he was finally awake, seemed like it was a false alert." Said the woman.

" Ugh....Why are you like this ? It is definitely a good sign." Exclaimed the first young woman. She had long black hair tied in a ponytail and was the very definition of beauty. She had a frail and yet incredibly sexy body, as opposed to the second young woman. Said young woman was definitely fit, some bit of muscles showing from her arms and legs. She had relatively attractive face, but that was all, though she did have a scar on her throat.

The muscular man was Joseph Crane ( The Son ). The woman in a dress was Maria Crane ( The Daughter). The two young women were Xiao Long and Nohara Nobume ( The Wife and the Grand-Daughter.)

It would've shocked anyone years ago, but now it was slightly less bizarre. The first young woman was indeed the wife of the white haired teen, while the others were his children and grand-children.

10 years ago Feng Li had been turned into a teenager, and had been in a coma ever since. His wife had also become a lot younger, though no one knew how, while his children and granchildren grew and adapted to their new world. Of course Feng Li wouldn't know that since he was braindead, of was he really ?

' What in the name of all the Gods is going on ?!' Yelled Feng Li in his head.

' Where am I ?! Who am I ?! I only remember being called Crow, but that's all !!' Thought the Teenager. He was actually awake, and was going well. But he was feigning being still braindead so he would've the time to think, not that he even knew how he was so good at acting. He had woken up in this body that he knew nothing of, until a stream of memories hit him and he remembered the whole life of Feng Li.

' Why can't I remember MY life ?! I am not Feng Li, I am Crow !!!'

He was going through an existential crisis at this moment. But no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't remember much about his old life, he could only see himself doing various activities and using various techniques. The only thing he remembered about his old life was that he was strong, steong enough to be called a God.

' Well I don't know how a God could even forget who he is....But I am sure as hell not going to live the life of a human. I will regain my memories, even if I have to become a monster along the way !
