-- Chapter 2
'uck!'
After Hui had verbally shamed Meng Po's ancestors several generations back, he recovered and attempted to get his bearing.
Though he was in a predicament, all hope was not yet lost. If his "cultivation" talent were applied more liberally, an army of evil spirit beasts and a harem would not be impossible.
As Hui ignored his surroundings and fantasized of his imminent love-life with jadelike beauties with their twin peaks and curling buttocks, he sensed danger nearby.
Hui attempted to move into cover and a spot to better survey the surroundings.
This was when he realized that he had neglected a crucial point since his reincarnation.
He had retained his memories.
'Haha! I've become a main character! Serves you right Meng Po, when I become an immortal, I'll $@!% and $@...'
Hui quickly recovered the second time, and continued laughing to himself as he moved. This was when he realized, he had neglected a far more crucial point.
'I'm not moving?.. Holy shit, I'm a plant!'
Before Hui could come to terms with his suspiciously beansprout-like body, the source of danger came into his "view".
What seemed to be, at least in Hui's "eyes", a hulking monstrosity, though it was suspiciously like the previous world's fluffy bunny, hopped towards him.
Hui felt remorseful as he thought of seeing Meng Po again is such a pathetically short time.
'Even I have some pride...'
Hui gazed manically at the beast before him.
'Nobody's ever taken Hui Lin without a fight! Despite the size discrepancy, I will not be resigned to death!' Beneath his exterior, Hui helplessly whispered to himself, "Why did it have to be a bunny?"
If anyone were in the forest at the moment they'd be faced with what might be an odd sight, if they cared to notice something at that level.

A cute bunny appeared entranced with a beansprout that was furiously swaying from side to side, as if wondering to itself whether such a thing were edible.
'Why isn't it eating me?'
As time went on, though Hui was sure he was imagining it, he felt blood rush towards his face.
Suddenly, when he felt his embarrassment hit a peak, the tip of the beansprout broke open and several leaves sprouted. Before Hui could engross in the feeling of bliss that came from sprouting, a glutinous glint flashed in the bunny's eyes as it bit towards Hui.
In his panic, Hui swayed as furious as he'd ever done, which frankly wasn't that much.
To the shock of all participants involved, and the dismay of the bunny, Hui's movement seemed to arouse some sort of latent skill from his seedling bloodline.
One of the newly grown leaves shimmered with a silver edge, and easily accomplished the impossible physical act of splitting the bunny in two.
Before Hui could react, he felt a pang of hunger, and the mutant leaf reflexively extended hundred fold lengthwise and penetrated the bunny's corpse.
A strand of energy flowed into Hui, circulating within his stem and leaves, and overwhelming his senses. The sublime energy nourished Hui’s body, resulting in several inches of growth, before dissipating.
Several minutes later, the flow cut off, and the leaf retracted.
Hui swayed there softly in the wind as he ruminated over the events of his second life.
'H-How can I build a harem as a plant?'
And so, Hui's first day as a plant ended amidst dreams of nymphs and faeries.
