“What is it, Alvaro?” Huehue sits on the stool next to my bed and crosses her legs. She swishes her tail around in anticipation.

“I need to know what is going on.”

“Well, you know who I am by now.”

“Yes. You are the goddess Huehuecoytl. The one I have spoken tales of to my daughter.”

“Yes. Indeed I am.”

“But how did you get to be here?”
