Small dorm room, most likely classic collage room for one person, there wasn’t much of furniture in there, in front of the window there was small desk with one chair and a lot of papers and book thrown all around the room. As the sun went up, rays of light lighten the room, the sound of alarm started disrupting this peacefully morning. In the bad was lying young man, as a looks of it the young man is in his early twenties.
-“Im wake, im wake, shut up” as he woke up and turned alarm off, he undressed pajamas he was sleeping in and only in his short shortc started walking toward bathroom with slowly steps.
As he was brushing his teeth he started thinking about his day that was weighting him “I have too get the breakfast, im so sleepy, I studied all night for exam, I barely slept I hope I don’t fall asleep while doing test, and im nervous now”
He finished brushing his teeth and as he washed his face he remembered something important
-“Ohhh, it my birthday today, 22 ha, it doesn’t feel much, I wont even have time too celebrate, exams all day and work after that, until I finish and get back home it would be almost midnight”
He closed his eyes, took towel and started wiping his face. In that moment bright light started glowing all over the bathroom, it was so strong that in just few second covered whole bathroom in pure white color, and than…
Applause, shouting, it could be heard all around him, he slowly removed towel from his face and froze in place. “Im dreaming right, this must be dream, did I finally went crazy after all of the studying, yes it must be that”
He was standing only in his shortc in the middle of pure white stone circle around 10meaters in diameter, with 10 huge pillars in the edge of the stone circle, in front of every pillar was a person in white robe, mumbling something in unknown language to him. Right of him was big palace and behind those pillars were huge crowd of people.
Realizing he was standing almost naked in front of all this people, he felt so much ashamed and lost he didn’t know what to do, he took quickly towel and wrapt around his wrist “What, what is this, I went crazy after all, even and my dreams why they cant be nice, what is with this public shaming. Can at least someone get my some cloths”
In his full embarrassment, even his face was glowing bright red color, beautiful young woman and few knights started approaching him. “Im I going too be killed here, they have swords, but if this is dream ill just woke up, but why this feel so real, ah than must be some prunk , they gonna show me on tv and laugh too me for the rest of my life”
As he was lost in his own thoughts, not able to understand what is going on, young woman and two knight beside her, kneeled down in front of him.
Woman spoke –“We humble welcome you king from other world, welcome to your future kingdom of valley, can we know your name our new king?”
“Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat” as he screamed internaly not able too understand not a single thing, hearing those words made absolutely no sense whatsoever, but they looked to serious. He took few deep breaths and calmed down a little.
“This look too real too be a dream, it defiance all logic but this people, this houses in front of me they all look like they are form middle ages, even this big castle. This is dangerous I really got myself in another world, she even called me king from other world. King, who, me? They sure expect something from me, I don’t know what but best option is just too follow what they say for now. If start panicking or running I don’t know what they will do too me”
As he was lost in thoughts for a while now, he realized he didn’t gave replay yet too the young woman question. “How long I gonna keep them waiting for reply, and they still keep kneeling, okay time to put some good act, after all I don’t know what they want from”
-“Ahm, my name Franz Leonhart, first can you stand up” Girl and two knight stood up, but they didn’t raised head, they eyes were look whole time in floor”. -----“What is your name and can you explain to me why im here”
-“Yes, im first princess of kingdom of valley, Jullya-Rose Willhem, right too me is Alexie Paterson general of magic knights, kings personal guard and left of me great general Zander Nguyen”
“Great general and magic kings guard, wait does that means there is magic in this world?” as he was even more confused about that princess started with explaining.
-“Every 700 years, summoning portal is activated and bring Great King from another world, every time that happens the currently kings resign and give all power to the Great King and leads his new kingdom too new Era. Every time kingdom in with Great King appears flourish and become peaceful and rich place for next centuries, so we ask of the King of other world to lead our people in New Era”
Princess and knight once again kneeled before him. Stuned by this he was lost for words “Ehhhhhhh, wait this guys are serious, how can they gave all the power too some unknown man, but wait she said that there were others before me 700 years ago, does that mean they teach them technology from my world, I guess this are really then middle ages here. My head hurts I don’t know what to do, and im still naked in front of this people”
-“Can you give me some cloths first its little embarrassing standing here like this”
-“Im very sorry, ill quickly get it” she quickly stood up and run.
-“You can stand up general Zander Nguyen, general Alexie Paterson”
-“If I can ask where is the current king, can I meet him”

Faces of both generals changed as he asked that question, that was bitter and resentful look, after few seconds general Zander answered.

Princess came back running with cloths, bowed and gave it too him. It was pure white robe with golden sleeves and golden buttons, it was beautiful peace, worthy of a king. Leo (we will call that main character from now on) was amazed, he started touching ornaments and golden parts of robe, being lost in thoughts one again. Princess seeing that maybe he was displeased, in trebling voice spoke
-“If these cloths doesn’t suit you, we will quickly made new ones after we end ceremony, if can you please wait until than” she deeply bowed
-“Oh no, this is really beautiful robe, its magnificent peace of art, thank you, and what is ceremony”
-“Yes, as the ancient low of our ancestors says, when Great King appears he must present item from another world, then high priest will examine that item and ceremony will go on second part”
“They broth me here only in my pants what can I present them, im not giving my pants, oh the towel maybe will work”
-“I only have this towel with me, will it work?”

Some old man came in front of Leo, he was dressed in similar white robe, but there wasn’t decorated as Leos cloths.
-“Im Garfield priest in service of God of earth Actaeon, I will examine item if I may”
Leo gave towel to the Garfield, he seemed quite fascinated
-“I conclude this is really from another world, we don’t have ways too make something like this, and there is something written it this white pace, I cant read this nor I ever saw this language, this peace will be placed besides others Great Kings items, you may continue with ceremony”
“This was easy, I guess this test are really simple too determinate people are from another world, I will follow for now everything they said, yet I didn’t answered princess question will I became there new king. I must say that idea sound very nice, if they have elfs here ill accept immediately” as he started imagined how nice it would be too meet some pretty elf girls princess continued with ceremony
-“Now we will continue with second part of ceremony, Franz Leonhart- sama can you show as your magic”

-“Earth, Wind, Water, Fire, Light and Nature, just try to picture strongly in your head, for example how water feels, her attributes”

He took shiny crystal from princes and took good look at it. It was like glass, transparent but very cold
-“I will try with earth first” As Leo slowly closing his eyes, he realized “Deam, im in so big trouble, haaaa magic, what is magic? Is it like in movies? She said I could use it and she is sure of that, how cool it be if I really could use magic, it sound so niceeee. Okay calm down your life depends of it, picture sand, like when I was at see, the feel of it, it was so nice I want to go sea again.”
He slowly opened his eyes to see is there something showing on crystal, but it didn’t, crystal was still the same, “Ok, next one, water, I ll picture again sea, nothing again, deam think idiot harder. Yes my town is very windy it always happens too be so strong that lift up some girls skirt, every mans favorite time in year, ah feels nice and breeze, it must be it what about crystal, nothing again”
This time when he opened his eyes princess and two knights beside her was looking at him with super serious eyes
“Ahhhh, they gonna find out I cant do anything, its over. Start thinking of something quickly, they super glared at me, scaryyy. I need some strong feeling maybe, ah I know, that beautiful onsen I found in mountains, that was best feeling of water I ever experienced, I was all good until that fire broke out and caught whole onsen, I jumped over the wall naked because fire caught changing room, its not my fault it happened to be woman part of onsen. Wait idiot what about crystal”
Crystal was glowing red, he looked at faces of the others around him, they looked relived “Does that mean I pass the test” than the old man spoke
-“Congratulation your majesty, it appears that you are blessed with her Goddess Nilfelheims power, we will help majesty practicing his powers”
-“Thank you”
-“Now for the third part of ceremony, your majesty need to show to the people standing here a little bit of his magic, and that will conclude that the real King from other world came here”
-“What I have to do?”
-“Close your eyes, hold your hand into the air, palm pointed towards the sky and imagine strong flames above your hand, and you should thank goddess for her power given to you”
“Okay flames, it so cool, im so glad I didn’t get something lame, but how should I do this, imagine flame, how big, old man be more precise, ohhh I know, I played that stupid game with the character shoots big fireballs, the cover was so nicely painted it led me too buy it, and when I started playing it was full of the bugs, but the cover was nice, okay ill use that”
-“I humbly expressing my thanks to the goddess Nilfelhem”
Huge fireball around 1 meter were watched astonished be all around him, and those in the pillars and those around kneeled once again, with this they become certain that the King from other side came once again in there world.
“Awsomeee, I really can use magic, and what is with this flames its super hot, how do I even stop this, deam you old man can you even explain thing too me properly”
After thinking for a moment while still holding huge flames, he managed extinguish it.
Old man Garfield, princess and the rest of the those who are present, were looking are looking at Leo with expression of amazed on there faces. Old man Garfield kneeled in front of him for the first time, and soon all the present did the same.
Old man spoke –“Once again we welcome you King from the other world, we deeply wish you accept the role of the Great King and lead us to New Era of our kingdom”
-“Thank you Garfield, but I cant accept your request right away, can I have some time before deciding, I still don’t know much of this world, I don’t even know what king are suppose to do yet”
-“Of course, than if you can please give us your answer before ceremony of crowning that will be held in 7 days, we make sure until than you learn everything of this world”
-“I understand, I will make sure I have make my mind until than”

Kings palace is located in main capital Nioyulm, besides kings palace that was located on top of the small hill in center of the huge walls surrounding the city, town was home to 50000 residence who are most humans. City was straight from middle ages, blacksmiths, carpenters, builders, farmers, solders were all common jobs for commoners, only strange thing about his place, yes because this is world of magic. All residence have some amount of magic, but for them that doesn’t mean much, because only very few people could actually use magic in great amount and with it join Magic Knights order or some of the 6 temples. In this world common magic was only make few litters of water, move small amount of land, or start a fire, and there are those who couldn’t even do that.
“This is beyond amazing, I recognize some of this statues I saw on internet, they were from Rome if I remember correctly, but wait will this all become mine if I accept to be King, I could finally be rich, I could finally buy computer or a tv I never had one of those… this is other world they don’t have computers here, ahhh what bumer”
Leo was walking with true halls of kings palace with princess, two generals and old man, halls were decorated with beautiful painting, vases, and all kinds of beautiful works of art and sculptures that resembled those of the ancient Rome and medieval Japan. In the end of one of those huge halls were giant metal door, sealed with chains and some strange kind of paper drawings.
-“What is this?”
Princess answered with great excitement –“This is Ancient Library, that all Great Kings used in their lifetime, it was build during Great King August, who ruled 1400 years ago, and was latter used by Great King Takuyo, all their personal diaries and books are in this library”
-“But why is it locked?”
-“Only Great Kings can enter this room and access books who are sealed in there, after Great Kings pass away, the room is sealed once again until next Great King arrive, in meantime no one is allowed too enter this library, not even a Kings”
“Hmm, im sure my predecessors didn’t want to be sealed away, but they doing that means that they looked with great respect on Great Kings, like divine beings”
-“Oh they finally came” old man spoke
In the hall in front of the door, came 3 man and 2 woman, they were all wearing white robs like old man, but each of theirs robe were painted in different colors
-“Your majesty let me introduce elders of 6 temples, staring from the oldest great priest Crurry Bagllo who serve Wind God Eurus, great priest Elliodalf who serve Water Goddess Satet, great priest Harilda who serves Light God Ra, high priest Garwand Harksilva in service Goddess Nilfelheim, me high priest Garfield in service of Earth God Actaeon…”
“You were the youngest old man, I cannot believe, there is one more priest but she is obviously really young”
-“And finally priest Riya in service of Nature Goddess Hagemone”
After old man finished introducing all 6 priests bow lightly towards Leo
-“Its great honor meeting and serve under Great King in our lifetime, I thank goddess Nilfelheim for giving us this opportunity, so after the crowning ceremony of our new Great King we will pledge our loyally and serve beast as we can, like our ancestors did”
-“Nice too meet you to great priest Garwan and rest of the priests” while slightly bowed his head while greeting them
-“Well, majesty let us continue with opening seals on door of library, priests of 6 great temples lets start”
“Oh, so there was reason they gathered all here, im glad I didn’t ask unnecessary questions, oh they started, amazing, I don’t get magic but if six of them are needed too break the seal on this door it means this room are really kept untouched for many years, will the book even be in one piece”
All papers and strange signs on door were gone they all looked very exhausted, It took over 10minutes for them too complete ritual. The youngest priest caught Leos eyes, she looked most exhausted then rest, she barely could stand.
She started collapsing, he quickly jump forward too catch her so she don’t hit the floor, other priests saw that end one of them commented.
-“What a disgrace, to collapse in front of Great King”
-“Is this ritual you performed very hard?”
One of the priest responded –“It is majesty, but it should be more than enough for highest priest of temple to handle, we will take care of here, there is no need for your majesty too hold her. Our job here is done we will leave majesty too learn everything what he needs too know in this library”
-“Thank you great priests, but I don’t mind, so in that regard, can you take rest here in palace somewhere, I will finish exploring library in 2 hours. Im sure I can learn a lot from books that are left here but more importantly I want to talk with all of you about magic in this world, is that acceptable?”
-“Of course, is that what your majesty wish, we will wait until majesty finish”
-“Thank you, so about here, princess Jullya, can you leave her rest somewhere, and prepare some place where rest of the priests can wait”
-“Of course we will prepare everything immediately”
-“Thank you, so Im going in” after leaving young priest too general who carried her out, Leo set foot in giant library left by 2 Great Kings, who ruled this lands before him.
Moment he opened door amazed by the look of room, from the entrance were laying red carpet 5 meters into the library, at the end of carpet was high table and book on top of it. Behind it were coffee table and two sofas One much more decorated with gold then the other. The rest of this room was felled with books, thousands of them, some of them were on the floor, papers all around and not even dust on it, room looked like it was used two or three days ago.
“Is it because of the seals they broke, does that mean this room was somehow frozen in time, what exactly is magic in this world? This book, let me see, what is this language, hmm is this latin? It cant be right, hmm it really is, thank granpa for beating me as kid and for forcing me into learning latin, ah happy times. What is it say”
-I write this diary in hope future so called Great King to found out what is this world and in hope he will knew how to correct my mistakes. ”Eh, first sentence and I already have too correct something, and why is it written in latin, what if I couldn’t read it, so what is it says next”
-First of I will start with my story how I got here. -“Thank you” his response was heavy, but quickly returned to normal and followed two maids. Garden was located behind palace, it wasn’t big because hill wasn’t was mostly taken by palace herself and walls surrounding her.
-“We are here majesty, if you need anything else we will be waiting here” spoke older looking maid with serious voice.

With little surprised reactions both maids introduces themselves. Older one spoke
-“Im Minami, and this my younger sister Nana, majesty”
-“Nice too meet you im Franz Leonhart, but im not King yet, you can call me Leo”
With even more surprised looks on their faces, confused what they should do Minami as older sister got courage and spoke first

After making happy little chat with two maids, he proceed towards big table in entrance of garden, rest of the priests he invited were already there. 3 of them siting on one side of table, princes and other 3 on the other side, with princess sitting closest to the chair for the king. As soon they spotted Leo, all stood up, and princess greeted Leo once again
-“Welcome back, majesty”
-“Thank you, lest sit I have thons of questions to ask, but first I would like you too call me Leo, because I didn’t accept position of Great King yet”
After hearing that, everyone looked disappointed, they all had the same question, does that mean he would not accept crown. But no one dared to ask.

Somewhere in this huge palace, there was a small room, with couple of chairs and table is often used by maids in palace for rest and drinking tea. After finishing their chores Nana and Minami were their drinking their tea.

After finishing long conversation with priest, Leo was in lying in big room that princess prepared for him.
“This bad is bigger than my room in dorm, being rich is awesome, ahhh, I wana sleep. But what should I do now, the more question I asked those priests the more question I had. In summary, when Takuyo died kingdom was inherited by his eldest son who carried his father wish and accepted as fact that he is mortal. Some of his other sons and daughters didn’t accepted and civil war in kingdom broke. Result was many years of war and in the end Kingdom was split in three parts. Each ruling by one of his sons. With Valley Kingdom, Holly Kingdom and Mountain Kingdom. Biggest problem is Holly Kingdom, current king old man said that he thinks of himself as God and in there were even religion about worshiping himself and his family. Old man said they hate other races, and often attack them. They even attacked Valley Kingdom 2 years ago, where old King died after battle, a lot of people died and in the both sides withdrew without winner. And there is now biggest problem of all, Zachariah Vu. Princess told me after death of her father he started gaining more power by forcing 3 other big houses under his rule, and slowly taking over others little by little. Jullya said only after crowning I will have more power to deal with him, so if I was him he will try to do something before crowning. This world is scary, lets think about this tomorrow”
In the meantime, in mansion located few kilometer from capital, Zachariah hears first rumors how future Great Kings looked like.
-“Is that all?” spoke the man sitting on throne, it was Zachariah and in front of him was kneeling certain maid.
-“Yes my lord”
-“Good, you may go”
“If this new Great King is like she described him, this would be so easy. After I teak the crown and become king myself im gonna make that man teach me all thing he now, hahaha, even if I have to use little motivation. I cant allow him to take the crown. I guess ill go pay him a visit”
-“Guards call Black Dogs”
Assassin like squad made of 5 people who carried murders for him, he used him in when gaining control over other houses. In the throne room appeared man dressed in black.

“Voice, hmm” beside his bade were Jullya, Minami and Nana, trying too wake him up

-“No its okay, thank you for waking me up Jullya?” saying that with genuine smile on his face, made princess little blush
-“Chefs prepared lunch for you, I hope you would like it, then I live rest to you two”
-“Understood princess-sama” Princess left the room living Leo confused why are two of them still here
-“Leo-sama what would you like to wear today, we prepared some cloths that might suit you”
-“I doesn’t need to be something special, lets see, something that I can move easily around”
-“Understood” They broth some tunic with looked too him like those they are from Rome. He picked with he liked, but two of them still stood in his room
-“Do you like those Leo-sama”
-“Yes, I will be taking these”
-“Then let us help you dress”
“Eh, really they gonna made me strip in front of them, no way, I had enough embarrassment on the first day for the rest of my life”
-“No its okay, I can do it myself”
-“But Leo-sama”

-“Then we will wait in front, until you are done”
After many trays of dressing tunic, he concluded that is better to ask for help, then looking like clown around palace. Two of them helped him, leaving him with even more embarrassed.
“This looks amazing, is this really lunch, I never saw so much food on the table”
-“I hope you like it, chefs prepared their best dishes, please enjoy it”
-“Did you eat lunch Jullya?”
-“No I didn’t”
-“Then please join me, I still have more questions I wish too ask, but lets eat first”
-“Then ill accept the offer”
“Meat, meat, meat, fish, and this dessert is amazing, well not really good as our world food but still very good. Now what to ask, I said I have questions but I don’t know where too start”
-“Jullya, can you introduce me to someone who can teach me this worlds language, most of the books in library are written in Kingdoms latters, so it would be good too know”
-“Then if you want I can teach you, Im confident I could fulfill that role”
-“Okay than, Ill leave it too you”
“Yes finally, this is my chance to make him wanting to accept the role of Great King, after conversation he had with priest It looked like he wants to know more about this world, but I cant say yet will he accept it. I need too make sure he likes this place so much that he will decided to stay”
After spending afternoon with princess, he started to understand more of the language and this world, he concluded that at least for now he could trust princess, and that made he think about future and how he could help this kingdom, and started considering accepting her offer
In their break time, one of the maid knocked of the door
-“Leo- sama, princess-sama, elder Zachariah Vu asks for permission too meet Leo-sama”
“He came, the most powerful man currently in Kingdom, and man I need too be most careful about, its time to put little act and found out what man he really is”
-“Tell him, I will meet him”

In one of the kings meeting room Zachariah was waiting. He wasn’t very tall, the first thing you will notice on him is his fat bally, and tons of rings and jewelry made of gold and shining stones, beside him was standing man in his 30is wearing similar golden jewelry. Seeing Leo entering the room, both man stood.

The rest of conversation was pure flattery by Vu side, making him even more suspicious in Leos eyes, but he couldn’t figured out exactly what he goal was. Leo made sure he acted fool who accepts Vus flattery. So the elder Vu and his son leaved the room with happy sinister smiles on their faces.
-“Son is everything ready?”
-“Yes father, they are in position, just too wait right moment and he will be ours, but, will it be okay with just that many people”
-“Don’t worry, we couldn’t bring more people with us, even if they were less it shouldn’t be problem capturing him alive”
-“But I heard all Great Kings had amazing magic power”
-“Idiot, there is no way he could learn to control his power in this short amount a time, because of that this is best time to strike. Also make sure you secure escape root, and place where no one will ever found him”
-“Yes father”
In the dark room were sitting 3 man and by the looks of it young girl, all dressed in black cloths. Mans were talking about something, while girl was sitting in other corner of the room
-“We gonna make killing when we finish this job”
-“Yea, and the job seems so easy, hahahah”
-“Kidnaping some rich papas son, ahahah, I love that, can I make him scream, I love torturing those rich spoiled brats”
-“Stop it, and focus on doing job first, after that we can have fun”
-“That’s why I like you Stone, we think the same, hahahah”
The conversation was interrupted when door opened and man dressed in similar cloths entered the room
-“Get ready everyone, we attack at night”
Leo after his conversation with elder Vu, headed to the library where he spent rest of the day trying to read books. After he finished at entrance were waiting him two guards and Nana
“Do they always wait me here for hours, I will try doing something about that”
-“Good evening Nana”
-“Good evening Leo-sama, would you like too have dinner?”
-“No, im not hungry, I will go to bad”
-“I understand, then I will accompany”
-“Okay, lets go then”
He already knew how to get to the room himself, but somehow it looked appropriate to have maid beside him. At the entrance of the hallway that led to his bedroom he noticed there aren’t any guards. He noticed last couple of days whenever he walked this hallway there were always guards. And then splash of blood on his face. Nana collapsed in front of him.
-“Eh, what, Nana? Nanaa?” she didn’t responded, and then 5 people showed behind him
“Whats going on, eh did they aim for me, are they here too kill me?”
Leo begin shacking, not able to comprehend situation he was in he turned view toward man behind him.
-“Nice hit, she is dead for sure, let finish this”
Young woman finally understood what situation she was in and who they were trying to kidnap “Is that really Nana, no”
-“Do you know who we are try too kidnap”
-“Of course we knew, so shut you mouth shut and do your job dog”
-“Stone finish him”
One of the assassins started running towards him, Leo still holding Nana in his hands were frozen in place not knowing what too do. Then Nana opened her eyes for a moment before closing her eyes again.
-“Leo-sama please run”
-“Nana, nana” “Fuck this, fuck, they gonna pay for this, ill make sure they pay for this”
-“Firewall”
Hallway started burning with huge flames, separating him from the assassins, but the moment wall closed one of them went true and with sword directly aimed for him, in panic he casted fireball, assassin sawing that changed direction of his sword and cut Leos hand, stopping his casting.
“Think fast, think”
He didn’t even have a moment too think what to do next because man standing in front of him charged with great speed one again at him. Dogging was impossible, and he was cut again, but gave him opportunity to make flaming stick with his other hand, and stab assassin directly in his chest. While taking lessons in language with princess she taught him how to manifest some of his powers, thanks to that he can put at least some kind of fight.
“You are going too kill me, it only natural I do the same, I killed him and cant stop shaking, but I must fight. Nana is barely alive and I cant use my left hand and the biggest problem im losing blood, I need to hurry and get help. That means I only have one option, too kill them all”
-“Did Stone get that bastard, and what is with this firewall, it will burn while place down”
-“Get ready, he cant hold this forever and you heard something is going in there”
The wall start disappearing, but sight rest of the assassin saw was unimaginable, Stone were lying on ground and around Leo were dozens something that looked like flying arrows, with each second one new appearing.
-“Shieldssss”
Each of the assassin casted some sort of shield in hope protecting them. The girl did the same, casting earth shield. “I don’t want this, I was suppose too serve Great King not like this, no no I don’t want to end up like this”
Rows and rows of fire arrows started hitting shield, with just first few shots killing two of them in the front. Decisive in his goal he quickly jumped forward right behind arrows, his aim was man who was left standing, in the moment when arrows stops, Leo stabs man with flaming spear. In the moment everything went quiet, he fell on his knees, every breath he took it felt like needles stabbing him from inside.
“There is one left, even if i don’t kill her she will tell about my powers, and who knows what else they could do if they can freely attack me in this palace, lets finish this than”
As he barely stood up, continued walking towards here.
“She only fainted, I cant do it, im shaking again” with slowly raising his hand above her, he start casting spell for flaming spear ready to kill her not able to think of any other option.
-“Stopppppp, majesty please stop, don’t kill her?”
-“Nana, Nana are you alright?”
-“Yes majesty, but I beg you please don’t kill her”
-“But why?”
-“She is general Alexies younger sister”
-“His sister?”
-“Please majesty I know here, she is not someone who will kill others, im sure there is reason for this”
-“I understand, how is your wound”
-“It hurts but I will survive”
-“Im glad”
He cancel his flaming spear and started walking
-“Majesty please wait, you are bleeding”
-“I will go and find help, you don’t move from here”
-“Please wait”
But Leo couldn’t stop, if he stops and turn his head around he will see faces of people he just killed, he cant bear it, rage, hatred, fear, emotions he never felt so strong before all started consuming him. Two guards were rushing towards scene after hearing noise. They knew how Leo looked, so they stopped immediately after seeing him.
-“Sir, are you alright, what happened?”
-“Ah, im alright, quickly go and call healer, there is maid down there injured vary bad”
-“But you are bleeding too, please wait here we will bring healer right away”
-“Are you deaf, I said im alright, now go and bring help for her, quickly”
-“We understand”
Leo wounded and bleeding continued walking toward library, it was safest place because he didn’t know who he can trust.
-“Open the door”
Two guards opened library door.
“I must find the way to stop bleeding, ill just close wound with fire, fuck it hurts” His screams cannot be heard in front, at least he hoped it couldn’t. After closing his wounds and wrapping them up in improvised bandages, he took some worn out cloths and bag of money he found there and headed toward small hidden doors he found inside library.
“It says backdoor, it must be emergency exit I hope it leads me outside of palace, I cant stay here. Deam this world and everything in it”

-“Jullya-sama please wake up, its emergency”
-“What is going on, Tama”
-“General Alexie and general Zander at the door, they say its emergency”
-“Tell them im will be quickly ready”
-“What is going on generals?”
-“Princess, there were murder in palace, we found 4 bodies and one of them were alive, she is unconscious and currently held in prison. One of the maids were badly hurt but healer manage to save her, and about Leo-sama”
-“What happen too him, is he still alive”
-“Two guards saw him entering the library, and they saw him bleeding”
-“Bleeding? We must go there quickly”
-“I already checked, he wasn’t there, but I found his cloths and a lot of blood, most likely he is not in the palace anymore”
-“Then quickly start search for him outside”
-“I already send most of my man for search if any intruders are left, we don’t have manpower right now, it will take until morning, and we must keep this as secret, if anyone found out about this outside the palace it will cause even more problem”
-“No way”
-“Im sorry princess, but this only thing we can do now, and one more thing in this attack my sister was involved, she will be kept under guard until she wake up”
-“Your sister, how is she connected to this?”
-“I don’t know, I have only guesses”
-“You said you found 4 bodies”
-“Yes, and most likely by the look of it, Leo-sama killed them”

Princess started crying and shat door of her room.
“No way, this cant be over, I must find him, but even if I find him, will he listen to me after what happened to him, please Leo-sama be safe”

Town was total opposite of palace Leo was staying in, dirty streets, stench, and most important of all people in this town.
“So this is how things really are in this city, if I only stayed in palace I wouldn’t know how situation is much more difficult then princess told me. I cant blame her, she probably wanted to show me only pretty side of this Kingdom, you are evil one Jullya. There are not a single person smiling, maybe it will be different in the morning, its late after all. Hmm lets go find some place to sleep and drink, this money I took looks like it will be enough”
“What it says here, Drakes Tavern, well lets go here”
Drakes Tavern was located in commoners area, here were living most of the people from capital, and closer you go too the walls you could see the difference between rich and poor ones. Leo sat in bar, in front of him was giant man, he didn’t pay any attention to Leo and continued with pouring drinks for other drinkers.
-“Can I order?”
-“Sure what would you like?”
-“For now give me strongest drink you have”
-“Do you have to pay for that?”
-“Yes I have, how much is drink?”
-“20 coppers, this is our most expensive drink”
-“Here is silver for 4 more and take one for yourself master”
-“To have money in this town, are you adventurer or you are not from?”
-“Ah yes I came couple of days ago, what is adventurer?”
-“Here is your drink. Adventurer is job where you hunt monster and sell it to the guild”
-“Is that dangerous job?”
-“Of course it is, I don’t know where you came from that you didn’t heard about adventurers but listen here, this country became so poor the even normal people started going hunting monsters, there isn’t any other job that can help feeding you, because of that every year there is more deaths of adventurers, some of them don’t even survive first week”
-“Why is this country so poor?”
-“You sure ask a lot of question”
-“Well maybe this silver coin can help”
-“Ahm, this country was beautiful place to live, King Willhem was loved by his people and then war came. It was long war, many people went to fight for the King, most of them didn’t return back. When King died one of the noble houses started taking control over this town, shops, taverns, everything that was worth it, even I had a shop close to the palace, King Willhem even visited and had a drink”
“This sounds even more horrible I imagined, that bastard Vu he want to take control over this country by force, but what I can do about that”

Leo keep talking to the master late in to the night, having only small talks.
-“Its closing time young traveler”
-“Ah, sorry for keeping you master”
-“No problem, thanks too you I can finally buy something nice to my wife and kids, you left huge tips, please come again”
-“I will, by the was whats your name master?”
-“Its written on door, its Drake”
-“Is that so, thank you master Drake I will come back again”
Having all this drinks made him really drunk and sleepy, he started looking for place to stay, but most places were closed and those who opened door said he cant stay or everything is full.
“Ah im sleepy, I have to find some place too rest, I should do that before I started drinking, after seeing me dead drunk they all closed door on me, it cant be helped”
After wondering around the town he finally saw some old church, it looked really old even part of the roof was missing, but not having where else to go he decided here would be best option
“Its locked, im so sleep…”

“Eh is he dead?”
Young girl dressed in white robe opened front of the church, she saw strange man lying in front of the church. Churches it that time were only place where commoner could go and pay for healing, so she assumed he came for that reason to.
“He stinks on alcohol, there is blood on his cloths, I must quickly heal him, its bad misfortune to have someone die on the entrance of church”
-“Tanja, Marko help me carry this man inside”
-“Sister Mary are sure he looks so poor, can he even pay you”
-“Marko!”
That comment earned him being lightly smacked by young girl Tanja who were standing behind him.
Marko-“I understand, sorry”
Mary-“Its okay, now help me carry him inside”
Mary-“Lets take his cloths off”
Marko-“Sister you finally started having interest in man, hehe”
-“You idiot, it’s not like that, I need to treat his wounds”
-“Well if you say so”
Tanja-“This wounds are burned, what he did, It looks he was cut by sword and then he burned wounds to stop bleeding”
Marko-“He looks like dangerous man sister, is it really alright to let him stay here”
Mary-“We don’t know who he is, and everyone are equal in the eyes of God Ra, but just in case tell others not too come in this room”
Marko-“Don’t worry sister Mary I will protect you”
Tanja smacked him ones again
-“Just do what are told”
Mary-“Don’t fight you two, now Marko do as you are told, Tanja help me treating him”
“We understand”
Several hours passed young priest did her best and healed most of the wounds Leo had, and then he finally start waking up.
“Where im I, did they capture me?”
Looking around in panic, only he could see is young girl sleeping and him naked.
“Eh wait what did I do last night, don’t tell me, glup. Last thing I remember, yes I was drinking and passed out in front of some church. So is this inside, but why im naked, my wounds they are gone, how? I remember now one of the priests from temple of light said, those blessed with Gods Ra power can heal others, so she helped me even she doesn’t know me”
Dressing his cloths, he sat on the bad and waiting for girl to wake up.
“She is not waking up, I have to go but I want to thank her, okay lets wake her up”
-“Stop right there” some kid was yelling
-“Hmm?”
-“Don’t touch sister”
-“I just tried to wake her”
-“Don’t lie”
-“Kid give me a break”
-“Im not a kid, im man”
-“Is that so?”
Mary with sleepy voice –“What is going on”
Marko-“Sister wake up this guy was trying to touch you”
-“Hey kid don’t talk bullshit, I was just trying to wake her up. Good you are finally awake, can you explain to me where im i”
-“Ah yes, sorry for falling asleep, this is God Ra church, and im priest here, my name is Mary”
-“Are you the one who healed me?”
-“Ah yes, I had a help too”
-“Is that so, you have my thanks, if there is something I can do to repay please tell me”
-“Ah there is no need”
Marko-“Its normal to pay to the priest after healing you”
-“Is that so, then here you go, I hope its enough”
He gave gold coin to the sister, she looked really surprised.
-“This is too much I cant accept this”
Marko-“Sister you can accept it, with this we can all eat for the next month”
-“But this is too much”
Leo ”Did that coin really worth so much, if I remember correctly 100 coppers are worth 1 silver and 100 silvers are worth 1 gold, I dint think about that, but doesn’t matter she saved me”
-“Its okay sister Mary, keep it, its thanks for saving me”
-“I understand, then Marko call everyone we are going to have big lunch today”
-“Everyone, what is this church?”
-“Well its church and orphanage for kids who lost their parents”
-“Is it so”
-“Would you like to stay for lunch with us, Tanja can cook very nice”
-“Well okay, can I help with something”
-“There is no need, you should rest”
-“I understand”
-“Can I ask for your name?”
-“You can call me Leo”
-“Then Leo-san is it alright”
-“Yes”
After resting and eating food they prepared for him , he found out church was home for dozens of kids, there were at least 40 of them living here. Not able to stand still he went out to chop some woods, doing something is better then sitting around doing nothing. But there was already young man he met before.
-“Hey kid”
-“I told you im not kid”
-“Why is that”
-“Because im already a man, and I will one day become magic knight like my father and mother did”
-“What happen to you parents?”
-“They died 4 years ago with in the war”
-“Im sorry”
-“That’s why I will do my best to become magic knight and protect sister and all my brothers and sisters”
“How pathetic am I, even this kid have something he wants to fight for”
Lost in thoughts again he finished chopping woods and sat on small bench in front of the church, watching how sun slowly sets behind walls.
-“Will you stay here Leo-san”
-“No I must go, but before I go Mary-san can you tell me about kids here”
-“There are a lot like them all over the city, they all lost their parents in war or they are killed by monsters, not having any relatives to take them, there is only one place for them to stay, but no any of them are this lucky, some of them end up steeling, and some of them are sold in slavery. But we know everything is going to be fine from now one”
-“Why is that?”
-“Because Great King appeared, ah I want to see him, I want to touch his hand”
-“Thank you Mary-san”
-“Why are you thanking me”
-“Because of you I decided I wont run away. Lets shake hands”

“Lets go back, I probably made a lot of problems for princess, I have to apologize”
