Ah! A new game. It has to have been at least eight years since I've played a new release. I wonder what they're like now. You know how you get lost in something for too long and just don't seem to understand what you missed when you finally snapped out of it? Well, that's how I feel with every new video game release. I've played video games my entire life. Ever since I was just a small child I've been playing games non-stop and I must say that I'm proud of some of my accomplishments, specifically my skill in First Person Shooter games. It took many years but now I'm finally here, I've competed in a game I loved but it just kind of wore off really quick. The people weren't that great, don't get me wrong my team was amazing; It just doesn't feel the same anymore. Maybe I'm just burned out. I think it's time for a change.
I, Michael also known as Neo by my online name have decided to purchase a new video game. I spent a few hours scrolling the store and looking at all of the different gaming hardware I have, usually looking at the hardware helps give me an idea of what I want to play. Hmm, console? No. Handheld? No. VR Headset? That's it! I started scrolling through the massive VR category on Steampunk (The online game distribution platform that monopolized video game distribution back when I was a kid). There is way too many games here. This is crazy, it's been forever. I scrolled through countless RPGs, Puzzle Games, and Tech Demos. In the end I thought I wouldn't find a game to play, I'd been scrolling for at least two hours.

After a few more minutes of scrolling, right when I was about to quit. Is this the game? It has to be, right? I found a game I actually wanted to play. It wasn't just any game, it was a competitive VR-FPS game. My three favorite things in gaming coming together for one big game. The name is Zero. Short and unassuming, but I bought it immediately. Waited at my computer just watching the estimated download time go down every second. Once it was done, I launched the game.
