Darkness consumed once again, that's what all he saw after the building was finally extinguished. The night sky was once seemingly lit by a massive bonfire. It’s hard to almost fathom that the building was once a High School, built by the finest marble from Italy, and now it’s simply a burnt and charred husk of its former self. The old man - the principal of Kukui High, Xepheniah Kukui, could only look upon the crisped destruction of his decades of work, ironically his career as a principal was about to be burnt up.
The Kukui lineage has always been earnest about the Kukui Educational Institution, the night of that very Monday would haunt the institution for seemingly the rest of its history; a sore thumb many cannot and never will glance over. Xepheniah took a step forward to observe it closely - the charred remains of the main entrance, a tall man emerged from the darkness, his face and eyes showed sympathy to the old man.
"Look around us, Void… How pitiful, years of my work so effortlessly burnt away in mere hours."
"I’m… Sorry old man. I still can’t believe this happened… I should’ve seen it coming." Void said, comforting him.
Xepheniah looked at Void, whilst still poking around the ashes with his cane, “I appreciate your pity, Void. Perhaps this being way out of your merit must have meant that it was… Destined" he replied pensively.
Void shook his head, “Listen, tonight was horrible, but there’s no stopping now - what good would it do just to keep looking forward as nothing but downhill? So what we fell down - let’s just get right back up. You have Takashi and I at your expense, believe me.” he boomed with confidence.
The only thing Xepheniah could do was nod as an agreement, he then looked at Void again with hope beaming in his eyes. For years since Xepheniah retired in his field in archeology, his life had become dull. “Same shit, different day”, was all Xepheniah experienced, and whenever something happened, it was always a tragedy. More recently, was the loss of his son prior to meeting Takashi and Void. But everything turned around when both of them were introduced to his life.
"Pah!" Xepheniah scoffed, as he began poking around some more broken debris with his cane.
"You’re right, it’s just a building after all - we can always rebuild it... Which means..." Xepheniah paused and turned to face Void.
"You don't mind lending me a hand then?"
"You and me, old man." Void smiled.
Xepheniah let out a short snicker and told Void that they'll begin restorations tomorrow. It was that day that Void unintentionally began working for Xepheniah Kukui as a caretaker. After years of looking over Void and helping him in the most desperate times, it would unfortunately come to an end just three years after opening Kukui Academy…

Today was like any other day. I started the day with a delectable bowl of oatmeal with some homemade jam, freshly squeezed orange juice and a cup of joe. Solved the crossword puzzle in the newspaper as usual, though today's however was a bit more challenging. I spent a good two minutes figuring out that the word was "egregious". Afterwards, I packed my lunch box and rode to work on my motorcycle. Everything went just as it always did, the view of the large marble building appeared in sight; truly a remarkable sight as always, and not to toot my own horn, but I'd say the building itself is the pièce de résistance of Lansing Michigan. Day went by as usual when I entered my office - answered faculty inquiries, arranged conferences, attended student committee meetings, and so on. One thing out of the ordinary was signing a birthday card for Mr. Killian, the social studies teacher - quite a wonderful man, I'm quite glad I hired him last year. Not much else to note, I left the school at five pm, had dinner, watched the news, and I'm now getting ready to go to bed. I felt compelled to write a new entry in this journal, because it's been a few months since I made my last entry. I made a promise to my young boy to write in this journal every now and then. Admittedly, it's been troubling; this was the last gift I ever got from him. I miss him dearly every day. Son, if you're somehow able to read this from wherever you are, always know that your old man will never forget about you.

Today has been... Special... It was quite an odd day; very peculiar. The morning routine went as usual, I made breakfast (today was scrambled eggs, bacon and pancakes), solved the crossword puzzle in the newspaper, packed my lunch box and drove to the school. Things were normal, but something was definitely new around school. I was at the mess hall eating my lunch, and I took notice of chattering at the junior's table. I know every one of my students, but there was this one lad who I've never seen before. He was certainly the tallest of the bunch, black hair with fades, clad in black clothing - seemed quite ordinary, until I noticed his most glaring feature, which were his pair of unnaturally yellow eyes. I decided not to create any alarm, in fact I'm curious to know who he exactly is. As soon as fifth period started, I got a notice from Mrs. Yu - she informed me of a suspicious person attending her integrated math class and making a ruckus according to her. I acknowledge it, yet I decided not to do anything just yet. From my observation he seems to get along with a good amount of the students. I think I know what I'll do, tomorrow is when the student committee will send their suggestions for junior prefects, which gives me an idea on how I'll approach this interloper. I'll write about everything that happens tomorrow.

Today's results were as I expected. As I arrived at the school today, I spoke to the various teachers who taught the class where that interloper from yesterday attended, and I was informed that he went by "Takashi Izumi". Quite the unusual name, which got me even more curious about his origins. When third period ended, I received the student committee's suggestions of junior prefects, and I executed my plan - at the last minute I added his name to the list. Once I announced it, he came storming into my office about the decision, and it was quite the experience. The young lad kept asking why I'd trust him with such responsibilities all while he kept declining the offer. It was there I asked him why he suddenly showed at my school to begin with. His answer was quite obscure- he told me that he was doing this because he was "bored", and needed some "fun" to kill time, sounded like he was supposing, and killing time for what exactly? It didn't answer why he specifically decided to settle with my school, he did say that this wasn't the first school he had "infiltrated", and had apparently done so in a High School in Phoenix Arizona, that’s on the other end of the country from here! In the end, I agreed to have him enroll as a Junior, so long as he agrees to be a prefect. Now some would be asking why I'd let this seemingly complete stranger enroll in my school through such invasive tactics, and to that- I have a rather simple and obscure answer too, I want to see how long this would go. After all, being a high school principal for almost ten years now has started to make my days go gray; everyday is just the same, so maybe playing along will make things much more interesting from here on, seeing as it’s not disrupting the operation of my school anyways.

It's been awhile since I wrote an entry, and I feel like now's the time to give a rather insightful update. A lot has happened since I assigned Takashi as a junior prefect, suffice it is to say. Before that, Takashi has been showing good behavior, he's been keeping the order splendidly along with the other prefects. Over the weeks I've learnt more about him, and he appears to be more unearthly than I realized, explaining how he's still getting adjusted to Earth and the American culture. He's also been academically performing well, he's the only student in my entire school with a solid 4.0 GPA. Though this spotless performance didn't last so long, a few weeks passed and something extremely peculiar happened - a fight broke out during Gym class, two Junior classes were using the gymnasium at the same time, and a fight broke out between Takashi and a student from the other class. At first it was physical, according to coach Cranston, then suddenly - Takashi was thrown across the gymnasium at incredible speed, and with enough force to break through the brick walls. It was assumed that Takashi was immobilized, though seemingly something happened in the dusty smoke that was created from the broken bricks - the coach and the other students reported that several long silhouetted "bones" pierced into the aggravating student’s back (The Nurse reports that something had lacerated his back at least), and shortly afterwards, Takashi went back into the gymnasium once the dust was cleared. And it was then the coach decided to call in school security, frankly he should have done it sooner truthfully. I had a lengthy talk with the two, the student that went in class 3-C was named Alex Imikato, a very well known troublemaker. In fact he's so much of a troublemaker that I remember distinctively in his first week as a freshman, I suspended him for starting a fight with his English teacher, I remember it vividly because I had to send Mr. Deckard home with two broken arms... Anyways, as it appears, my two students possessed supernatural abilities. I'm no stranger to it, my family possesses a wide range of abilities as well. My father had the ability to accelerate the aging process of any organic being, he used to show me and my brother by accelerating the decomposition process of various fruits when we were children. Either way, Takashi revealed his true origins that day, he was a God of infinite age, and that this "dimension" of sorts wasn't his home. He kept the details obscured, and I think with good reasons too, I could tell Takashi was a being who has been through who knows how much, and asking him about everything would indeed be too much to ask. Life at this school has become much more interesting, and I think it'll get even more from here on.

Today was the last day of the semester. This week has been rather hectic, that would slowly turn into a downright horrific experience. Since the mid-year exams, there've been several supernatural occurrences around campus. Takashi and I have been exploring them this week. When we first entered the woods for our first exploration, bushes started spontaneously catching fire and winds blowing in several different directions. While it did spook us quite a bit, I could almost for certain know that this was just the beginning of something, and that it would get worse. The day after, a few of the Freshmen year girls from class 1-E had disappeared after the first period, and have been gone for the entire day. Police were called and began searching the area with campus security. Takashi and I participated in the search, and we couldn't find anything. Though when the next morning came, Mr. Smith, the caretaker, immediately reported to the police of a horrific finding - I arrived on scene to find all the missing girls from 1-E dead and mutilated in the school's boiler room. It was the most graphic scene I've ever witnessed, and knowing how young they all were, just aches me by simply remembering it. I took the natural action, we had to cancel the entire day, and used the time to consult the families of the lost ones and hold conferences with the safety faculty, security team, and file several reports to the Police. That day continued to get progressively worse. Takashi and I were investigating the boiler room a couple hours before I went home. We found a zodiac or something, carved into the walls where the bodies were found near. This was the work of something beyond the devil, but something is haunting the school, we just don't know what it even is. Despite the risks, I decided to continue the week as normally. Students started reporting hallucinations, describing it as "surreal nightmares" during class. Teachers have been hearing whispers during their breaks, and spontaneously falling asleep and reportedly experiencing these same lucid nightmares. Something needed to be done, so Takashi and I decided that on the night before christmas vacation, we attempted to banish whatever is haunting my school. Both Takashi and I had done research and discovered that we're dealing with a demon, specifically a demon that doesn't serve the Devil, but a rogue one that feeds on the misery of mortal beings. Our banishing ceremony didn't go as planned the moment we started, everything would have gone to waste if it weren't for the sheer prowess Takashi displayed; brute forcing the demon away from the mortal realm. And that was it, the next day was just like every other day... Whatever ungodly being that haunted the school is gone now. So, after a sigh of relief, the semester ended on a high note - a big feast with the teachers and staff.

The daily routine of the school had become much more bizarre since the holidays ended. It was around this time when Takashi introduced me to a rather peculiar lad. He was quite the staggering type when I first met him, and he seemed to be the type of person whose trust is difficult to earn - that was my initial impression at least. So it was odd when he seemed to trust me on the spot, agreeing to stay hidden under this school. He gave me the name "Void" - it sounds so familiar for some reason, this feeling of Deja Vu amplified when he then said that he was in hiding from something far more powerful than anyone could imagine, according to him. In order to stay off their radar, Takashi approached the idea of keeping Void at this school, under a false identity at least. I was reluctant, because I didn't want to take any further risks after what happened last semester. Eventually though, I decided to agree and help him, not only because of the familiarity I seem to have with him, but also because of the power he extrudes, if whatever haunted the school or something similar would surface, at least it wouldn't just be me and Takashi dealing with it- that and I needed a new caretaker after my last one resigned from the horrors he discovered last year. At the very least, he was willing to take care of the grounds.

It's been awhile again. As much as last year ended on a high note, it would seem the year ended at one of its lowest. After a stressful year, the seniors of the school could finally celebrate their finished studies with homecoming. But as it would seem, during the night, a fire started in the chemistry lab. It was far too late to put out, and I was forced to see the entire school burn effortlessly into ashes. Lawsuits started rolling in, and I knew my reputation was done for. Did I stop there? Did I file for bankruptcy? No, I didn't. Instead of conceding and accepting the damage I've done, I'm taking the initiative to rebuild my reputation. I promised my father and grandfather to continue their legacy, and I refuse to be the one who ends it. Void and Takashi were with me through the whole process, and in just short of 4 months, the school was rebuilt. I decided to start everything anew, and rename Kukui High into Kukui Academy. The turnout of new freshmen students was unprecedented! So unprecedented, that numerous college boards from around the country were willing to initiate an Advanced Placement program. Suffice it is to say, we're back in business, and I couldn't have done it without Takashi and Void. From then on, I decided to make Void the school's custodian for the school's safety as a token of my gratitude and trust. I expect a busy semester ahead, so it'll be awhile until I write a new entry.

It seems that as time progressed around this school, the events just seem to get more bizarre than ever. Takashi's presence seems to have attracted more of his kin, a pair of lads called Yukio and Jet started enrolling all of a sudden in the same fashion as Takashi. Yukio was a bit of a troublemaker, and seems to be quite rebellious compared to Takashi, who I assume is the senior of the bunch. Either way, I was fine with them enrolling. Jet was proven to be quite responsible, so I was fine with making him a prefect. After all, Takashi decided to drop out and hang around the academy, protecting from any sort of foreign threat. After the second semester ended, it had been a year since Kukui Academy was opened. As a new semester and grade began for all the students, I've started seeing some new faces. After I made Jet head boy, three peculiar girls began showing up. They were siblings and seemed to hang around Takashi's kin, Yukio seems to be the most popular among them. Although the semester started smoothly, one of my oldest teachers in physics and calculus, Aloysius Lincoln, retired after turning 65. Takashi heard about this, and he introduced me to a lad named "Cassian Whitlock" - he immediately gave me a good impression, mainly because he was able to recite the science and history of Newton's laws of gravity and how it led to the invention of calculus during the interview. Bit of interesting stuff happened then there, but everything up until now has been peaceful, and at this very moment, I couldn't have asked for more.

As I had feared and dreaded, nothing peacefully lasts forever. As the spring semester started, we've been noticing a regressive change in student attitude. Fights have been breaking out regularly in the courtyard and in the halls, our school security guards have been reporting alcohol consumption around the back of the school, and if that wasn't bad enough, Jet had recently discovered and intervened in a drug deal between a Senior and a Sophomore. All of this behavior is seriously out of the ordinary, yet we all assumed that there was nothing supernatural happening, so I initiated a student relation building program and a civil investigation on all the illegal dealings. Even so, the behavior among the students didn't improve, and unfortunately it kept regressing. Cassian reported that the average grades in his classes had dropped significantly, additionally several APs started dropping out, something had happened, and we just don't know what exactly is causing this mood shift. Jump a week ahead, where I got a notice that a brutal fight had taken place before the fourth period, between Yukio and his fellow classmate, Ryan Flare. It took not only two security guards, but even Takashi to properly subdue Ryan, so I've begun to have my suspicion that perhaps something supernatural was happening- just as Ryan claimed that he didn't remember initiating the fight or let alone fighting at all. We needed to dig deeper as to what was happening, so I formed an investigation group with me, Takashi, Cassian, Jet and this odd fellow, "Ace", who runs the school's Occult Club. Void’s been tending to his own business during this time, still maintaining non-essential functions in the building. Until then, I don't see any more improvement, not unless we do something about it.

It has been several weeks since my last entry. I could sadly, yet confidently say that tonight was terrible- the most terrible pain I had ever to endure. A lot has happened since I last wrote an entry, and with the loss I've suffered, I see fit to write everything in great detail. After we started investigating the possible supernatural causes behind the student's mood shift, a series of events began happening. Another fight had taken place in the back area of the school near a small pond that seniors had dubbed "Lovers Pond". The fight this time was between one of the girls that were into Yukio (went by the name Jordyn Suiyun) who fought with one of the jocks after an argument broke out. This jock, who I know to be one of our star quarterbacks - Brock, seemed to have been under the same influence that Ryan was, as it took the strengths of Jordyn's sisters (a smaller girl named Toshi and a thinner girl who had a tendency of wearing a surgical mask all the time named "IO"), Takashi, and Ace. The moment I arrived, Brock laid his sights on me, and was seemingly approaching to land a strike. But before I could do anything, Void appeared in front of me, as if he had always been there, and took the hit. I saw Brock’s fist shatter the moment he laid it on Void, and then a shockwave came, sending Brock into the pond as clouds started to gather, two lightning bolts struck Brock as he fell into the pond. Whatever remained of Brock, turned into a large magma pillar, which spanned to about the length of a pinecone tree. We recollected ourselves, revealing that Jordyn fractured her arm and needed medical attention.
I told Cassian to alert campus security and evacuate all students before they could see this pillar. We did some more investigation, and found an entrance below the pillar, we swam down and discovered that it led into catacombs. We didn't know what it was at first, but we soon realized that the catacomb walls were remains from the old high school building that burned down. It was here I required answers from Void, as to why he kept getting uninvolved with the problems that had been occurring. His answer was very miniscule, but insightful as well, saying that he has indeed “untold powers”, and that he couldn’t use it for fear that his position may be tracked by this something he was hiding from. We continued exploring, until the catacombs started transitioning into an old tomb - the interior reminded me of Pharaoh Khufu's tomb in the great pyramid of Giza, although instead of Egyptian scripture, it was symbols that I could best describe as runic characters. After the whole ordeal- Void, Ace and I spent hours looking through historical texts and research about the scripture, when we found something damning - the runic letters was an ancient language with connections to a sub-religious group in Satanism. Among the texts we were able to translate, it was a lyric about the demon "ILGOTH" entering the mortal realm after freeing itself from the shackles of Satan. It then hit me - the demon that Takashi and I faced back in '91 had resurfaced, and placed a curse on not just me, but my entire bloodline. This explains why the catacombs resemble the remnants of the old marble building, as well as another event that had happened. After discovering the catacombs, I felt an uneasy presence entering me. When I reentered my office to take a rest, I blacked out completely and couldn't remember what happened afterwards. Once I regained consciousness, it appeared that I had caused significant damage to my office after revealing that I had been possessed.
Takashi and Void were fortunate enough to subdue me long enough to have the demon forcefully exiled from my body. One thing I could vividly remember was the essence of my father, and grandfather, fighting off the invader inside of me. After the whole ordeal, we went back to investigating - Ace managed to translate a crucial part of the lyric: in order for Ilgoth to enter our mortal realm, it needed to be on a specific night during a full moon, and it is then he’ll strike with a vessel. Despite further reading, we weren't able to translate nor decipher anything from the lyric that could suggest what type of vessel Ilgoth needed. So we went with our final solution, which was to perform the same banishment ritual that Takashi and I performed before. As we did so, the tomb collapsed within itself, and we were forced to escape. After catching some breath, we assumed at first it didn't, but we slowly began noticing the mood shifting again, the process was slow but normalcy was returning. The average GPA started to rise again among many of the students, and the former AP dropouts returned. On top of that, Kukui Academy won the state tournament, where we got to properly honor Brock's legacy. Yet none of us saw what was to come when Homecoming came. Cassian was the only one who felt uneasy that night, despite the students having the time of their lives. Void and I consulted with him outside the school, where we then noticed the bright full moon in the sky turning red. There were no scheduled lunar eclipses that night. And that moment, hell broke loose. Something exploded in the mess hall, and the three of us rushed back in to see the dancefloor in wrecks with corpses of students scattered all around, among them we recognized Yukio. Takashi came rushing in, and attempted to save his life, yet Yukio revealed - in his last breath - that Ryan was possessed. Soon after, the student in question appeared and attacked Takashi.
While Takashi dealt with Ryan, Cassian and Void evacuated all the other students and alerted authorities. I tried finding Ace, yet it seemed that he had vanished, all I found by his locker was a note written to me. In it, Ace explained that he was too late in translating the most crucial part of the lyric from the tomb - Ilgoth chose Ryan as a vessel, because Ryan's soul was full of trauma, making it unstable and aggressive enough to fully possess, going on something about "Aura cells". Either way, I needed to assist Takashi, so I rushed back to the mess hall. The fight had grown much more intense and gruesome, further destroying my school by the second. I had found out Jet, Toshi, Jordyn and IO had all been killed in an attempt to fight back Ilgoth. It seemed the battle had reached its climax, as Takashi striked the demon with pure anger after losing his kins. It was at that moment I felt the air shifted, and the sensation of getting heavier - as if gravity had been increased. It all stopped, the wind, the sounds, and it was then I saw Ilgoth rising back up. His vessel’s eyes, Ryan’s, traced with eyes of ebony, as it flung itself at Takashi - at a speed where I quite frankly couldn’t comprehend as I almost missed it entirely. Every hit I saw Takashi lay on the demon just seemingly bounced off harmlessly. The beast had seemingly gained power; immense power. I was completely stunlocked from the scene, I felt helpless as I heard Takashi grunt out Void’s name.
And just as that happened, he appeared out of thin air yet again behind Ilgoth - as if he had always been there. I heard Takashi speak up, saying ‘I messed up’ and ‘It’s him’, I could feel the weight of the air increasing, knowing that Takashi was regaining power. Ilgoth stood still, despite Void being behind him, and I could faintly hear the beast say something, as the voice that came out of Ryan’s mouth wasn’t his. It started faintly, as ‘S- er- AA- F…’ and then it became clear as to what he said, ‘... Seraphim’. Just then, I could feel the intense force that the beast used to strike Takashi yet again, the walls and roof were blown away into scrap and debris. Void moved quickly as I took cover, I was able to see Void using one swing with his fist to shatter the demon’s arm into molten magma and flesh. I then overheard Void and Takashi exchanging words, ‘Void. I think it’s time we get going now.’, ‘Yeah. I really thought this was the one.’ was all I heard. Takashi started approaching Ilgoth as it was getting off the ground - still quaking from losing its arm. It was then I saw pure whiteness emitting from Takashi’s left hand, it was then Void was about to approach as well, that was until I felt the air shift again. Ryan’s body rose from the ground, almost in a ragdoll motion, and began launching itself into my direction. From that moment I swore I saw my life flash before my eyes… For a moment, I saw my son; I saw you, Phineas. It was only brief and momentarily, as I quickly snapped back to reality - Void moved in to protect me, despite hearing Takashi saying ‘It’s no use, Void. You’ll see him again NEXT time. We need to go!’. It was then Void grabbed Ilgoth by the neck and lifted it up in the air. I could hear him say ‘It matters to me. You know th-’ Something cut Void off, as I saw Ilgoth’s face cracking a grin unlike anything I had ever seen before. I have seen plenty of horrors of humanity, everything I’ve witnessed and experienced during my service in the Pacific War, or my time serving in Korea; I’ve explored many corners of this world, but that grin… In layman’s terms, it terrified me.
Despite fear washing over me, I was able to make out one more word that was uttered from that beast’s tongue - ‘It’s destiny, isn’t it?’. A crack of black blood began to spurt out of the beast, the liquid scorched the ground, releasing fumes of a terrifying blackness. Void gave a look to Takashi, and then to me, as it was at that moment the beast seemingly bear hugged Void. Wind picked up for a moment, a sphere of darkness gushed all around us, yet all was calm soon after, that was when I realized Void had vanished, and the limp, seemingly lifeless body of Ryan was left on the ground. In spite of the horror I just witnessed, I could hear Takashi groan something along the lines of ‘That’s… new.’, it was then he sighed to himself - ‘But the plan still holds…’. He could tell from my look and emotion that I needed answers now more than ever. I’ll admittedly say that Takashi’s explanation left me more clueless than ever, because even Takashi himself was also quite clueless. All I managed to get from him was that Void will be gone for a long, long time. I still felt that Takashi knew more than what he was telling me, nevertheless, I'm sure the lad has a reason to keep this from me. That night, I had lost 27 students, including Jet, Yukio, the Suiyun sisters, as well as an additional 3 staff members. I don't know what comes next, and I don't know what to do now. I'm not even sure if the curse is lifted, or if Void had sacrificed himself to banish Ilgoth for good, or if I'm even certain Ilgoth is truly gone. Can my life truly return to normal? Looks like I'll find out.

Date - ██/██/1999
I think this will be the last entry I'll write in this journal. I promised you, my son, that I'd fill every page of this journal one day, but this book bears too many haunting memories- memories that I must move on from. As a way to abridge everything that had happened since that night - I’ll be brief, when authorities and EMTs arrived to clear the casualties that night, the FBI and ATF were alerted that a potential domestic terrorist attack was carried out with an explosive device. As a result, the state and federal government evicted me from the premises. There was no point in taking these actions to court, not only because that school was filled with ill memories, but also because, at the time, it had only been two years since Ruby Ridge and Waco. Though contrary to the consensus, I've been hearing rumors of the FBI's "Unusual Phenomenon" division acquiring the body of Ryan, which is why I believe they wanted me to vacate the vicinity. The first thing I did after facing eviction was to pay the reparations that I let happen, compensating the grieving families that lost their sons and daughters that night. I simply couldn’t ignore the accountability of failing to secure the safety of their children. Afterwards, I managed to arrange a graduation ceremony at a building I rented in the city center, giving closure to my students and grieving for their lost friends. As summer had begun on a low note, and despite everything that had happened, I knew I needed a new beginning. It was a risky move, but I decided to open another educational institution. This time, I've decided to build a university with boarding services. In order to get away from it all, I moved my company west to North Dakota, and commissioned the university to be built. At last, I was able to establish Kukui University after four years. Takashi and I saw each other less frequently than before, but we still talk to each other now and then. One time when he visited the new school, he was accompanied by a young woman who happened to be one of Cassian’s sisters. Speaking of, I rehired Cassian as an assistant professor in Physics to practice and hold lectures at the university. He also introduced me to a fellow named "Bronze", who appeared to have connections with Takashi, Void and Cassian’s father, so I hired him as an assistant custodian. I'm certain nothing will or ever can heal the damages that I've caused and endured on myself and others since that very night. I think I'll never know what happened to Void or Ilgoth on that night, and I don't know if I'll ever see him again. But if he's alive and out there somewhere, I hope whatever his true goals were is or will be achieved. Until then though, I'm closing this chapter for good, and only look at what's to come next; this is my final entry.
