Ethan and  wife, Bethany, live in a beautiful cabin in Pleasantview Forest. However, their peaceful life is shattered when Bethany disappears after she claims to have been called out by a lady in  a black dress by the river. Mark is haunted by vivid nightmares of the lady in black drawing him towards it. The locals tell Ethan  the legend of the lady in black, a woman who drowned her two children in the river. It is said that the lady in black's spirit still haunts the forest, seeking revenge on anyone who crosses her path.
