First love changes your heart

He gasped awake after his dream.His entire body was drenched in sweat.He took deep breaths. After he calmed down, he watched his surroundings. The first thing he noticed he was in an unfamiliar room.The room was once beautiful but now there are patches of color missing.It was painted in deep blue.The room was neat and clean but there are very few furnitures.Some places of the wall are cleaner than other places of the wall.It seems the owner has moved some furnitures.Overall he could say the owner was once wealthy but now the wealth is decreasing.

A teenage girl entered the room.Taichi watched her with an amazed expression.His whole world felt as if it had changed.

She looked like any ordinary girl but poverty was clear on her.

Her dress had seen better days.The color of the dress had long gone.Now it is a shade of gray.

Her face was diamond shaped.She had a sharp nose and beautiful lips. Her long hair was black and her eyes were a beautiful shade of blue.That's where all the attractions are finished.

By observing all this Taichi came to a conclusion. Not only her body was lacking nutrition and rest but also her mind was suffering from tension.

Though this was not what had amazed Taichi.Taichi had been watching her face with open mouth and teary eyes.

Her face was looking like an exact replica of his mother.From the nose to the lips everything looked the same.

If not for her hair,eye color,age and skinny features taichi could have sworn she was his mother.When he realized he was looking at her, he quickly handled his expression.

"Are you okay?Is it hurting anywhere?",the teenage girl asked while checking him.She began to inspect the bruise on his chest.

" I have already applied a medicinal plant's pest.So it shouldn't be hurting.",the girl said while slightly pressing bruises on his body.

" No,it is okay.I am feeling fine.",Taichi answered while looking at the other side.

He felt afraid that if he stared any longer he wouldn't be able to control his emotion.

She chuckled a bit sadly and said,"Am I also too ugly for you to look at?"

When Taichi began to speak to her to put her out of her misconception she stopped him with her hands.

"Don't worry.I have accepted it a long time ago.",the girl said with sadness in her words.

Taichi understood she must have had some trauma on it.So he carefully sized his words and said,"Do you know you look a lot like my mother.?And if anyone tells me my mother's face is ugly,I will break that face so badly he would never be able to see his face in the mirror."

" Really!Was she looking like me?" She asked with an innocent curiosity.

His eyes wavered. He cleared his throat.

"She died a long time ago." ,Taichi replied.The fingers of his hand instinctively curled.

She really is a good girl, he thought.

He directed the conversation the other way."My name is taichi.Thank you very much for saving me.",he said with as much great fullness he can master.

The girl wore an embraced expression. Her cheeks dusted red lightly."Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself.My name is Ria.Nice to meet you.",she said with a cheerful voice.

Then she waved her hand and said,"It is no big deal. Anybody would do it if they were on my place"

At this time his stomach growled.With an embracing smile he said ," Can I have some food?".......

Ria brought food to him in his bed.First she washed his face with a wet cloth.

"After eating breakfast,I will wash your body.Or you could catch a fever", she said while setting up his plate.

Taichi became slightly embarrassed with her care.Though he gave some resistance, she didn't even listen to his argument. Looking at her, suddenly he felt a strange emotion.

Ria placed her own breakfast on the bedside table.Their conversation then started while eating.He heard everything from her.

Ria was living alone in a small town.Her mother died 8 months ago.Her father died when she was small.Now she is doing odd jobs to support herself.

She was on a fishing boat catching fish when she found him.She was caught in a small storm.The storm took her boat.But her luck was good.She found a boat of her neighbor who was going to catch fish in the sea.She went with them.

When they were returning ,they found him.He has been unconscious for the last 2 days.

"What were you doing in the sea?", Ria asked him after a while.Blood and pain's memories came to his mind.

"It is a long story.I will tell you another time." Saying this he focused on eating.She understood he didn't want to talk about it.So the meal finished without any further conversation.

After breakfast,Taichi came down from his bed.Taichi knew the more time he spent with her.the more pain will follow when he will be going away from her.So,he stood up.He was feeling a little wobbly. But he pressed and he was able to stand up.

He went to the side of his bed where his shoes were.He opened one of his shoe's underside.Then he took out a 20000 ryo coin.

"Please take it.This is just a token of my gratitude.",Taichi said while trying to give it to her.

"No, no please don't give me so much money.I refuse to take it." ,she said with a determined voice while rejecting his hands coin..He told her many times but she refused.

While arguing a pain shot through his chest.He collapsed where he stood.

It seems I have not recovered yet.

Ria came to his side immediately.

"Don't worry.You take some rest." She tucked him inside that bed again.

Suddenly an idea came to his mind.

"No ,I cannot do this.This will be dishonorable for me to freeload on you.Only if you take the money can I stay here.I will rent this room and 3 times a meal per day for this money for 10 days.",he argued with her.

She understood his intentions. A great smile with tearful eyes came on her face.

But she didn't accept it yet.

" You are giving me 10 times more than what is necessary.",she argued.

"Baah! forget it then! I am going.", he said playfully.

" OK but 15 days not 10 days",she told him with with her hands folded.

They both smiled out loudly.

"OK deal"..........

The days began to go with very beautiful memories from Taichi's standard. Ria didn't need to go to work as Taichi was paying her.Thus she began to take good rest.Some shine came upon her health.

On the other side,Ria began to take care of Taichi's every need.From feeding to clothing everything she did for him.They would take sneak pics of each other when the other wasn't looking. The two of them began to develop feelings for each other. They would speak all day long with each other.

9 days later, When they were eating dinner a knock came from the door.Ria suddenly became stiff.Her face became afraid and all the blood from her face was gone.Taichi immediately became ready for any trouble.

His mind went into rage.He had seen and interacted with Ria for the past few days.Without any doubt he can say she is the most innocent girl he has ever meet. For her to become frightful there must be something wrong.

He went to open the door but she held his hand.Her eyes were teary.

"Please don't open the door", she whispered pitifully. Her entire body was shaking. After some time a voice called out " Shit the bitch is not at home.Today is the last day for her to give her answer.Boss won't be happy. Fucking slut. Must be somewhere shaking that booty."

Another voice called out,"Stupid.Who wanna go with her!Are people mad?let's go, we will come again tomorrow."

"Laughing with each other, they went away.

Taichi wanted to ask some questions. But watching her face he stopped. He hold her in his arms and his rage became boiling. Bastard it is not over.Nobody can call my Ria this and go.That night Ria spend by sobbing on his shirt and he counseling her.That night he realized he has fallen in love with Ria for the first time in his life.
