Chapter 6

The barrage didn't know why, but listening to Glen Chu made them a wave of terror stab their hearts.

[Anchor, you're just trying to scare us on purpose, aren't you?]

Glen Chu called in the drone, allowing it to enter the vehicle and position itself to face him.

There, everyone saw his stern and serious expression.

"This is no joke. There are many reports describing tourists venturing into the ace and dying without proper burial sites, like the man who thought he was brave, wanting to see things for himself only to end up dying in the hands of wolves. It took 20 days for the authorities to go in and search for his body, but what they found was a single eyeball and a butchered bloodied hat on the side. His body was not found, but a few bones in an old wolf's den were."

Hiss!~

Many sucked in their breaths, feeling the picture too gruesome to imagine, but Glen Chu didn't stop there.

"Here was another man who was fortunate enough to survive through so many horrible days out there. However, he lost his way and ended up in a far location, after 45 days of travel. When a small tribe found him he had one leg crippled, a few fingers missing and a bony face resembling that of a Zombie's."

Once you get lost in such a forest without preparation, it could even take you 6 months or a year to navigate yourself properly out of the situation.

Why? Because once in the forest, even if you climb the tallest trees, everywhere you turn will only show greenery for as far as the eyes can see.

So where to go? Left? Right? Front? Back?

You don't even know the location you came from since the forest itself was like a maze, with many places looking very similar.

Apart from that the harsh weather, complex terrains, wildlife and deadly plants wouldn't let you survive so easily.

"I'm going to say this one last time. Please, do not attempt doing what I'm doing without a proper guide and security to ensure your life."

[Anchor, don't worry. We won't try doing what you do. Anyone who tries will be a bastard!]

[Yes, Yes, Yes. Anchor who would dare?]

Seeing as the barrage understood his intentions, Glen Chu eased his smile and turned his attention to Han Ming by his side.

"As I said, you may all call me Guide Chu... Today, I'll be taking not only you all on an unforgettable adventure, but we are not alone."

Very quickly, the drone zoomed over the Han Ming.

At first,

At first, Han Ming was nervous, but the more he spoke, the more lax he became.

"Everyone, that's all there is to know about me. As for how I got the chance to sit beside the anchor I suggest everyone visits the Guide Chu's website and you'll understand."

In no time, the vehicle reached its destination, prompting the duo to hastily fly.

The driver felt he wasted his saliva on these brats because after all the advice he did, they still didn't accept his offer of him picking them up later in the day.

Although they were polite with him, he could tell they only did so to ease his worries.

"Thank you, uncle. We will call you if we need your services."

"This... okay. Be careful, it's dangerous out there."

With that, the driver drove off slowly, giving the barrage something new to talk about.

[Hey, why do I think the driver is so cute and caring? Anchor, I think what he says is right.]

[Yes anchor. Although we are adventure enthusiasts, it doesn't mean we'll allow you to risk your life on our behalf.]

[3 days deep in the forest? Anchor, we will be satisfied with you staying in the forest's outskirts where it's safer.]

[Upstairs is right. Didn't you hear the driver say that the deeper one ventures into the forest, the more likely it is to find deadly beasts?]

For a moment, everyone was scared for the anchor's sake.

With the drone flying around, they knew he didn't have a team with him.

So imagine how many times more dangerous it was for him who has a tourist by his side to step into the forest alone.

Everyone began wondering if he truly fought crocodiles and faced bigger threats that made entering the Azbian forest child's play in his eyes.

Oh my God!

The anxiety was killing them the more they watched the duo bravely set off into the forest.

Without knowing it, many had their hands hovering above their dial pads, ready to press 119 any moment now.

[Glen Chu]:... Thank you for the vote of confidence.

3 days in the wild with a Mysterious adventure prompt from the system... What could it be?

Don't forget that under his attributes, he had an ability called Mysterious Seeker which had a status rating of right now.

Glen Chu didn't fully understood this matter, but he knew it more or less meant his ability to attract adventures and unearth hidden secrets was infinite.

"As per the rules, we haven't brought any food or essentials from outside. The forest will provide us with everything!"

Facing his buddy, Glen Chu smiled devilishly underneath his Indiana Jones hat.

"Brother Ming. Are you ready?"

"Ready!" Han Ming exclaimed, gripping his suspenders tight with excitement.

For a moment, the drone flew behind them, capturing the scene of man vs the wild.

Everything seemed epic, as the duo looked several times smaller compared to the towering trees ahead.

No one dared to breathe in the barrage, as many hearts trembled with unprecedented feelings they couldn't fully describe.

Ahhhhhh!

They are doing it... they are really doing it!

"Let's go."

With Glen Chu's command, the duo began their ascent over a pile of scattered boulders plunged deep into the ground.

What will they face? What dangers will they meet?

Only the future will tell.
