Erik Paradox felt as if he was in Heaven, but he didn't believe in God.
All around him were countless blobs of white light spinning aimlessly.
Erik was in a state where he could barely think or feel about anything.
Time continued to pass.
Months, years, hundreds of years and who knows how long has passed. However, everything around Erik remained the same.
Sometimes blobs of light tried to get close to him but he didn't let them, he got away before they could get anywhere near him.
So much time has passed that Erik forgot about who he was, he only remembered his name.
Erik Paradox!
Erik had a feeling if he forgot his name that would be the end of him.
In these years he had seen blobs of light gradually dimming until they disappeared completely.
Kaboooom!
A loud sound that destroyed a couple of white blobs.
The void where white blobs were spinning was torn open by a huge golden hand that stretched for thousands of miles.
"Grab every one of them! Don't let them escape!" A loud voice thundered in the void causing the space to shake.
Erik felt as if his mind was going to explode although he wasn't sure if he had one at this point.
With another shockwave, Erik fainted.
"Old man, you are going too far."
The angry voice of women filled with rage came out of nowhere.
"How naive! You should have already prepared for this."
Erik Paradox had nothing to do with this as he had already fainted, his glow was dimming with every passing second, and in a couple of minutes, his fate would be like other blobs of light that were extinguished.
"Argh!"
"How is this possible? You have already broken through!"
"No! I can't die,"
The roar of a man filled with pain resounded in the void and blood filled the void.
One drop of Blood also landed on Erik. The drop fused with Erik's white blob and disappeared.

In a big courtyard, a group of people were chatting among themselves while looking at the sky from time to time, seemingly waiting for someone.

Out of nowhere, the clouds in the sky suddenly split, a sword of lightning descended like a meteor, and the people closed their eyes to avoid the light. After the light disappeared, there stood a youth in black, whose eyes were cold and piercing, he glanced at the people with a cold gaze and asked, "Where are the youth recommended by your family?"
"Am I alive," suddenly Erik felt a cold for a moment and disappeared.
'Immortal!"
The group of people after seeing the immortal, placed their hands behind their backs and bowed.
Erik pinched his cheek to see if this was real, he was no longer trapped in the void surrounded by white blobs of light.
Unknowingly, tears started to appear in the corner of his eyes. He wanted to cry only because he knew how much he suffered.
Ryan Gorbin casually looked at others and snorted.
Ryan Gorbin's father quickly stepped forward and respectfully said, "Immortal, these three are the Gorbin family's recommended youth."
Erik was also one of the three. He was just trying to breathe deeply and enjoy the atmosphere when he was pushed out by the group.
"What is going on? What Immortal." all of sudden countless appeared in his head.
Erik had never heard about immortals, where was he?
The youth nodded and impatiently said, "Who is Ryan Gorbin?"
Ryan Gorbin's face showed a flash of happiness, then he quickly pulled Wang Zhuo. "Immortal, this is my son, Ryan Gorbin."
The immortal youth gave Ryan Gorbin a deep look. His face brightened and nodded. "Ryan Gorbin is indeed talented.
The youth gave three of them a faint smile, waved his sleeves, and took the three youths on a rainbow and disappeared.
Erik felt his body lighten. The wind hitting his face caused him pain.
He looked around himself and immediately he was frightened to death.
He was thousands of meters in the air, under the arms of the youth, flying quickly through the sky.
"What the actual fuck! Is this guy a god!" Erik cursed in his mind.
He was sure that was not on earth. From what he knew there was no one on Earth who could fly through the sky.
And there were no floating mountains similar to the ones that he just flew by.
Erik's mind was in chaos! Nothing was making sense to him, after some time his head started to hurt, so he gave up thinking about it.
Then he remembered that bitch Jack. He directly shot him in the head and in such a good moment.
"Did their friendship amount to nothing?"
"Just for a lady with a big..ahem lovely personality."
Erik started counting mountains that he flew by their kill time, however after some time his body started to ache as the force of the wind was too much for his mortal body.
After a short period, Erik Paradox could feel that the youth was short of breath and that his speed started decreasing. Then, in a flash, the youth quickly descended. The moment before landing, the youth loosened his arm and the three youths fell to the ground.
Thankfully, the fall wasn't hard. The three got up quickly. In front of Erik was a paradise-like scene, with mountains, flowers, and a river. It was a truly breathtaking scene.
Straight ahead was a towering mountain. Its peak was covered in clouds, which hid its true appearance. There was a path of twisted steps that sneaked its way down the mountain, like an anaconda wrapping around its prey.
Far off in the distance, at the top of the mountain, stood a hall. Even though it was covered by clouds, its grandiose aura attracted the attention of everyone passing by.
Next to the hall was a silver-colored bridge with the shape of a crescent moon, which connected that peak with another mountain peak.
With these natural beauties, this was truly worthy of being the location of Flying Thunder Sect. The Flying Thunder Sect was one of the few existing immortal sects. 1000 years ago it was one of the leaders of the cultivation world, with many supreme experts. However, with the passage of time, it had shrunk to its current size and was barely able to hold a foothold in the cultivation world.
However, for the mortal families near the Flying Thunder Sect like the Gorbin family.
"Kai, are these the three candidates recommended by the Gorbin family?"
A middle-aged man dressed in purple floated with the demeanor of an expert floated down from the mountain's peak.
The youth respectfully smiled and said, "Third brother, these three are the Gorbin's family three recommended youths."
The middle-aged man nodded at his words and threw a glass bottle in the direction of the youth. Smiling, he said, "You won't be disappointed by the quality, don't worry."
The youth's demeanor completely changed with the appearance of the glass bottle, he grabbed the bottle and sniffed the bottle like a dog with an intoxicated expression on his face.
Hugging the glass bottle tightly, Kai jumped in the air and disappeared.
