I finally decided to retire from the force and go on a vacation, I boarded a plane for the first time in my life. Everything seemed to be going well and I was quite excited but then the plane crashed.
I opened my eyes and looked around, I saw the other passengers also looking around in confusion. We were in a place that was above the clouds and someone started to speak.
"All of you are dead." He said, we all knew we were dead but hearing this made some people cry.
"I have good news, all of you will be reincarnated into another world. All of you will play a game that everyone has played, hide and seek. I will now explain the rules. Hiders will have to do their quests to gain points, these quests can be anything such as killing, stealing, helping and many more. Seekers will have to catch the hiders before hiders kill them and everytime Seekers catch a hider they will gain points." A man intervened, he looked like a pilot.
"What?! Kill?"
"Yes, kill but don't worry killing hiders or seekers won't count as sins. As I was saying, you can use these points in your sleep and you can buy anything with these points, you can build muscles, you can be prettier, you can increase your status, you can be rich and become God if you have the points for it." A businessman started to talk.
"I see…How will seekers gain points? Hiders can easily gain points but seekers can only gain points by catching hiders."

"Yet hiders can easily hide and do their quests." The businessman continued.
"You are right but who cares, everything will be random. Your looks, your birthplace, your status, your powers and your gender." The last two words bothered everyone, a woman started to yell.
"Change my gender!? How will that work?!"
"I will change your memories if you get a different gender and you will accept it. Also, I will be removing some of your memories including loved ones, family, and friend but I won't change your personalities. Now I will give you a pen and a paper write which side you want to be in. Seeker or hider. " The businessman started to talk and everyone started to listen to him, he was born-leader.
"Choosing Hider is the best option, we can live freely and if nobody chooses seeker. We can easily work with each other, so is anyone choosing seeker?" I raised my hands and everyone looked at me.
"I won't be choosing anything. Reincarnating in another world and we will kill people to upgrade ourselves? No, this smells fishy." God started to laugh at me.
"I expected this from retired police captain. So, heroic but you will have to choose your side. There are no third options captain."
"Then I will be choosing seeker! Anyone that still has their humanity should choose Seeker!" I wrote seeker and the paper vanished, everyone wrote their answers and the god announced the results.
"We have….So many Hiders and only one Seeker." I turned to the other with an angry look on my face, I started to scold them but then the businessman walked up to me with a smile on his face.
"This is humanity, captain. We always choose the easiest option." He said.
"Now! I will be sending everyone to that world." And so everyone started to vanish, I closed my eyes and when I opened it, I found myself in the arms of a woman, she looked quite happy and there was a man that kissed the woman, he was also very happy. Before anything, I needed to check something and I felt my manhood. I was born as a male, thankfully.
