I wrote this poem for you to read,
With heartache that you'll never need.
You've left me behind,
Even though I wanted you to be mine.
A promise was made,
And such a promise will fade.
As you step out of my life,
You've left me behind with strife.
Some days you would complete me,
But nowadays all you've done is defeat me.
Although this is something bad that has become of us,
I can't find myself to be mad.
Bittersweet feelings,
Internally tingling.
As I crave your voice one last time,
I've realised loving you is a crime.

Thus my dear this is goodbye,
Until a better time.
Wishing for your affection was silly of me,
I now live in a state of abjection.
My truest love,
Our feelings for each other are fleeting like doves.
I wanted to write something sweet,
But this poem is like our relationship, short and incomplete,
I've wrote this in the hopes of telling you how much I love you...
Now I move on,
to find a better me.
I'll be waiting at the crossroads,
Wait to begin another episode.
When you need my attention,
Come and find me if you're worthy of my delegation.
Goodbye my dear,
Don't you fear,
As I won't be near.
I'll be beyond us one day...
