Within the Library of Knowledge, a young girl wearing a grey mask sits at the table within the reading room, reading through a book about herself. Beneath her disguise, her facial expression was blank and stiff as she studied the events and forthcoming experiences about her life in precise detail. Placing her elbow on the table, she rests her head upon it while her eyes begin to skim through the papers.
"Unbelievable," she grumbled, for what she read was surprisingly accurate.
She slammed the book shut out of sheer spite. The young girl has lost interest in continuing the book that portrays her for what she truly is. As she stares down the endless corridors enclosed by enormous shelves filled with various books, she thought about what her future and upcoming event the book proclaimed.
"Now, I understand how I operate, but where is the book about my sisters and their powers?" the young girl pondered as she looked towards the endless shelves of books in alphabetical order.
The books that populate this library are countless; every known fictional and non-fictional story in any universe is accurately recorded. Most books are continuous as there is more to discover in that universe, while others are left closed or discontinued.
Inclining herself into the wooden chair, she took off her mask and stared at the ceiling. Her memories began to flow like water as she continued to stare at the gloaming light that sits above her. Setting her hands upon her forehead, she took one last peek of the shining white light above her before shutting her eyes to meditate on her studies. Shaking her head and chair out of frustration, for she was unable to phantom or comprehend the truth about herself as a person.
"This must be an illusion... all of this has to be," she muttered, sinking her fingers into her scalp.
"I found it impossible for you to think that this place is an illusion," uttered a woman sitting two tables away from her.
The young girl darted her head towards the voice that spoke, "Of course, I do, for this is all just an illusion emitting from the Eye of Reality that crafted this place."
"Yes, that may be true," the woman chuckled as her finger separated the papers from each other. "Although all of these stories are real, and you should respect them for what they are," she continued as she flipped the page from her book.
"Hmph, sure..." scoffed the young girl, for she believed the lady was part of the illusion as well.
The woman that sat two tables away from her wasn't an illusion since she helped build this place by providing more and more information for others to know. The young girl drew her eyes back to the woman as she was curious about her appearance. Her lips were bright yet luscious, her eyes were crimson, and her hair was smooth as silk and sparkled like diamonds. She was indeed a woman of class as her clothes were iron to perfection, and her skirt nor shirt had no wrinkles in sight.
"What are you reading?" the young girl asked.
"I'm reading Spadeverse; it's a delightful novel. You should read it after I figure out what shall happen to Light Spade," the woman answered.
"Hmm... is that book another universe outside ours?" questioned the young girl as she got out of her seat.
The genuine version of this novel can be found on another site. Support the author by reading it there.
"But, of course, that's what this place contains; weakness, advantages, secrets, and many more of every universe that exists outside our fictional existence," the woman stated.
"What's your name?"
"I'm S5 Yamada. It's a pleasure to meet you, Emilie," S5 greeted with a slight bow with her right hand upon her bosom.
The sheer weight of S5's voice brought chills down Emilie's spine, causing her body to stiffen. The looming aura that lingered throughout the room wasn't the only thing imprisoning her for her mind and body were conflicted about what to do. Encapsulated by fear, her eyes widened as she felt hopeless. With the tiny piece of courage left in her, she proclaimed, "That can't be... S4 Yamada killed you..."
"Yes, he did kill me, however, as you can clearly see that I'm very much alive. Nonetheless, film inserting is a thing which allowed him to obtain my powers," S5 smiled.
Emilie stood up and began walking towards her. Her eyes began to swerve, her body slightly rocked as she took every step little by little, and the room spun as she tried to stabilize her vision. The void of space pushed itself against Emilie's chest on a universal level causing her to lose focus. It became more and more challenging to breathe as she came closer and closer to her.
"Before taking another step, dear. I would like it if you take a deep breath first," S5 suggested before closing the book.
S5 kept her hand on the book's cover before leaning on her right and stared at Emilie. Emilie halted and did what S5 recommended. She took a deep breath, exhaled, and repeated those steps five times. When Emilie's eyes returned to S5, she was smiling with her eyes closed, waiting for Emilie to come back to her.
"All good now?" S5 questioned.
A soft smile arose from Emilie's face as she felt more relaxed, soon after she pulled out the chair in front of S5 and sat. "Umm... yeah, thanks."
Before placing her hands on the table, she dragged her fingers through her hair before wrapping it into a ponytail. Afterward, she closed her eyes and glided her hand above the table in search of her mask, but she forgot she left at her previous seat.
"Would you like me to get that?" S5 asked.
"Sure...," murmured Emilie.
S5 reached out her hand towards the mask, and it instantly teleported itself into her palm.
So, she's capable of controlling space itself. Which means this isn't an illusion; this is the real deal, Emilie thought as she took note of what S5 did.
As S5 handed Emilie her mask, she stared into her eyes. Seeking for the Eye of Reality deep within those purple eyes of hers, she was unable to detect it until she saw something within her peripheral vision. It hid itself beneath the skin of her forehead. As it stared endlessly at her, she recognized what the eye was.
"I didn't know you have the Eye of Reality," S5 said. "Whose eyes did you take to develop it?"
"My father and sisters," Emilie responded before placing the mask over her face.
"Don't you hate wearing that mask?"
"No, for it keeps me together," Emilie replied, placing her hand over the mask.
"Hmm, interesting. Suppressing yourself, so you don't hurt others... that's why I need you to go here," S5 stated.
Emilie looked up towards the book S5 held in her hand.
"Spadeverse," Emilie muttered.
"Yes, I need you to go here and document everything or anything you can gather and bring it back here," S5 smiled with her eyes closed.
"But, why me? Why not you or S4?" Emilie recommended.
"Eye of Reality users aren't recommended for this specific universe as it breaks the Author's law. You, on the other hand, Emilie can be contained unlike us," S5 proclaimed.
"What's in it for me?"
"Hmm... well from what I know once you get into this universe your sisters shall be there. I'm not sure about your father, but if he does spawn or even Glitchiona. I would recommend you to summon this Library, so S4 and I could deal with them."
"I would love to see my sisters again, but that's risky, S5."
"I know it is, but this library needs the information. Once you're there hidden or assisting anyone in this universe aids in the library's development," S5 said.
"Anyone else coming along on my journey to this place?" Emilie asked, pouting.
"Ahh, yes! Scar Francies, Sasha, and Scarlet. Additional members might be Crow and Alice Yamada," S5 pointed out.
"Is there a specific location, I must be in to find Scar?"
"No, you'll be linked to him from a mental link and if you want to find him faster. Throw dust into the air and call his name; it shall direct you to him, if you need him," S5 grinned.
"I'll accept this mission... only if you allow me to see Nizmo again," Emilie blushed.
"Ooh?! I see what's going on here," S5 smirked.
"Huh?" Emilie fluttered.
"Don't worry, you'll see him again when you return," S5 said.
Emilie got up from the table and headed towards the exit.
"You're going now?" S5 questioned.
"Of course, the faster I get this done the better right?" Emilie replied.
"Yes, but make sure to document everything perfectly. Use the Eye of Reality as a scanner only, but if there is any danger that will kill you or anyone from your universe... you must break the author's law and survive," S5 recommended.
"Understood," Emilie saluted.
Grabbing onto the door, she was reminded of her past and what she read in the book.
"Are you sure that I am worthy of this?" Emilie murmured.
"I believe in you Emilie," S5 whispered into her ear. "Now, go there waiting for you," she continued as she helped her twist the doorknob.
"Thanks for the encouragement once again," Emilie said.
"Goodbye, Emilie," waved S5.
