Makar appeared instantly behind the shorter demon, he was furious because of the wicked scene he witnessed upon arriving.

The shorter demon paled onced he realised there was a powerful deity behind him, quickly he tried to attack. But it was too late.

*SLAP!*

The hardest slap echoed throughout the forest, causing people to block their ears, while many monsters and beasts near by ran for their lives. For they knew destruction has arrived.

*PSSTTSS*

Blood splattered into the air caused by Makars slap. He slapped him as if he would to a fly, he looked calm but his eyes filled with wrath betrayed him.

"Trash" Makar said in a cold tone.

The short demon now a headless corpse dropped heavy on the ground, causing a big thud. Collum who was released quickly ran towards the wide eyed Sky.

"Sky! Are you okay!?" He asked while checking all over her body to see if there were any injuries. But Sky was just staring into Makar as if she's seeing a god. Divine golden flames raging throughout his body like electricity, long white hair, halo above his head, beauty surpassing all races, 7'8, abyss like eyes and refined toned bulging muscles.

'T-this has to be him..' She thought dazed. Everyone was shocked, wondering who the deity was and where he came from.

Makar then turned around to face the the taller demon who was shaking uncontrollably, while frozen in spot from the pressure Makar was radiating.

Once he turned around he exposed his back, Sky and the company were horrified! For they saw a devilish tattoo.They instantly knew who the owner of that tattoo was, for it was passed down for generations. Even though it's changed some bits, anyone can still guess just by the ominous pressure it was radiating. It was Makar, the Legendary Bringer Of Death! Murderer of billions, destroyer of families and with untamable wrath and destruction.

People were unconciously stepping backwards causing most to stumble and fall. Some were petrified and couldn't move an ich even if they so dearly wanted to, some fell while yellowish liquid covered their pants. The most pitiful ones were the ones who had horrible stenches coming from them.

The taller demon realised the grave danger he was in, he paled and mentally regretted wasting time. He didn't know who he was but he knew he was strong.

'T-this isn't supposed to happen!!' He frightenly thought, while Makar approached closer.

Makar instantly appeared infront of the demon and quickly jabbed him in the face. The demon couldn't even see it coming for it was too fast!

*PUKK!*

*WHOOSSH*

*BOOM*

The demon was sent flying for a while, only stopped when he crashed into a tree, causing the tree to fall on him.

Wallrick, Leon, Collum and the company who saw this were stunned and all had one thought. 'He's too strong!' While Sky was silently watching Makars wide back and board shoulders, while she unconciously held her hands on her chest.

'It's like he's angry... for me.' Sky thought with dreamy eyes. Feeling a buring sensation in her heart, she quickly held her chest tighter, not knowing why she was feeling this. Collum who saw his daughter acting like this had a question mark on top of his head.

"Argh!" the demon screamed painfully laying on the ground with the tree on top of him, while covered in blood.

"H-haha, you ca-cant be serious *COUGH* " The demon weakly groaned in pain, with blood flowing through it's mouth. Then he immediately stood up pushing the tree off him.

"ARRGH!! I DON'T KNOW WHERE YOU CAME FROM! BUT I'LL FIGHT YOU MONSTER!!" He roared loudly, he knew he might die. But he won't die without a fight!

Dark red aura ran crazily throughout it's body, then he charged towards Makar instantly appearing infront of him, immediately he shot his fist condesed with mana towards Makar's face. Meanwhile Makar stood there waiting for it.

People screamed in horror while Collum covered Skys vision with his body, because he knew that was a deadly blow!

*BOOOM!"

The fist exploded upon impact, causing shockwaves throughtout the forest while a foggy mist appeared. People felt like their souls had left their bodies, thinking that Makar was done in.

"N-no.. way"

"W-we're doom.."

"Hahaha!!" The demon laughed sinisterly.

'He wasn't so strong after all.' The demon thought arrogantly.

Until his fists were clutched tightly, causing him to scream in pain!

"ARRRGGHH!!"

 He tried to retract his hand, but he saw Makars hand squeezing it more tightly causing his bones to shift out of place.

"ARRRHHH!!" He screamed falling onto his knees, desperately using both hands to remove it. Once he realised he it wouldn't budge he swore in his heart. But fortunately Makar left his face wide open and he saw it, with lightning speed movement he used his free hand to repeatedly punch Makar in the face.

*BOOM*

*BOOM*

*BOOM*

"I-Impossible!.." The demon was utterly shocked that Makar was just eating all his mana condesed punches like nothing, not even a scratch appeared!

"Is that all you've got?" Makar asked in a calm voice, not one bit fazed.

The demon who was on his knees glared into Makars eyes, cursing his luck. However, inside Makars abyss like eyes, he unexpectedly caught a hideous Devil staring into his soul laughing at him. His eyes wide open in horror, true fear took over the demons soul for the first time in his life.

"N-NO! I-IMPOSSIBLE! YOU SHOULD BE DEAD!!" He madly screamed, causing Makar to frown.

"What are you talking about? is it because your about to die." Makar questioned while getting closer into his face.

"NOO!!! STAY BACCK!!" He screamed, launching out of Makars grip, ripping his arm in the process. The demon fell onto the ground then he started to desperately crawl away from Makar, with his torn arm leaving a bloody trail.

"N-no no no.. t-the Emperor locked you away!! You should be de--" 

*THRUSTS* 

Before he could finish. Makar instantly stabbed his hand through the back of his head going through the other side, killing him. 

*RETRACT*

*Thud*

The demon dropped without uttering another sound.

"Tch.. Don't go crazy when your about to die, it's pretty rude." Makar scoffed, then turned around to face Collum and the company. Who were frozen stiff upon seeing him kill two powerful demons as if it was breathing air for him. 

Makar scanned through all of them and saw the aftermath of their battle. A sea of corpses, both human and monster. Injuried people getting bandaged, soldiers moaning with missing limbs, passed out victims, bloodied men and women and two young girls dead on the ground. 

'Stupid fools, why did they come here! When they're so weak!' Makar thought. Anger started to swell up inside his heart but he cooled himself down quickly.

Then he turned his gaze towards the strongest person in their group, Collum. Who was guarding Sky, but when he noticed he was staring at them, he tighten his hug while cold sweat ran through his forehead. For he feared trouble would repeat itself.

"Leave now, before I change my mind." Makar threatened in a deep and powerful voice. Collum shook uncontrollably, for even his words contained divine power!

"Y-yes my lord.." Replied Collum with fear, while turning around and moitioning Sky to leave, who was reluctant.

Collum turned his head and signalled Leon they needed to leave now, while they still can. Leon receiving the signal immediately got to work.

"E-everyone please move out! NOW!" Leon couldn't help but shake with fear and start walking off by himself. For he didn't want to receive the wrath of a deity, who killed half the worlds population during the last war. All by himself!

He wasn't the only one, instantly Collum, soldiers and the others started to walk but after a minutes, it turned into a sprinting competition as if there was a prize for first place. However they weren't the only ones to be madly dashing away, beside them were injured soldiers running as if they were fully healed. But the one bravely leading the charge was none other than Wallrick, sprinting like theres no tomorrow! 

During the crazy sprinting contest, Collum stopped and realised he was missing someone, Sky.

"Hahahaha!" Makar laughed holding his stomach while tears formed in the corner of his eyes. Witnessing them run off into the distance like that reminded him of someone.

Makar wiped the tears away and was about to leave.

"W-wait!" A beautiful voice interrupted Makar, forcing him to halt.

He looked around and saw a beautiful girl with slightly red cheeks, shaking while mustering up the couage to look at him in the eyes. He stared into her blue eyes but immediately she looked down while her cheeks dyed red.

'Is she that afriad of me.. Sigh.. '

'Does that mean I don't have any chances with females!!!' Makar scared himself, but he quickly shook the thought out of his mind.

Sky upon seeing his changed expression thought he was angry for stopping him, so she quickly shouted.

"PLEASE LET ME COME WITH YOU!" She shouted then fell on the ground panting hard, for that was the hardest thing she's ever had to do in her life.

In the distance, Collum who didn't hear what she said but saw Sky shouting towards Makar, despair fell upon him. He ran and stood infront of Sky, blocking her from Makar with both arms stretched out while releasing his aura.

"Please don't kill her! She's just a young girl! Have mercy!" Collum begged. Face covered in sweat.

Makar who was watching this scene had a massive headache.

'Arrggh.. Look at what you've done you stupid Devil!!' He roared into his soul. Inside the Devil just laughed it off then went back to sleep.

Makar would like extra company, but he just couldn't do it when she was so afraid of him. It just broke his heart.

*Ahem* Makar cleared his throat before he looked at them with a serious expression.

"Look here woman, I don't need company for I already have one. And you, extinguish your aura before I do it myself."

Collum shook with fear and quickly extinguished his aura, while Sky looked very dispirited. But inside her mind she was thinking of ways to follow him.

Makar seeing her look dispirited sighed and was ready to teleport.

"Please become my teacher!!" Interrupted Sky.

Collum almost died of a heart attack, meanwhile Makar was getting very annoyed.

Makar sighed deeply before facing Sky again, this time a bit of anger showed on his face.

"First of all, I don't want to bring you because you have no use to me. Secon--"

"I CAN COOK!!" Interrupted Sky again, immediately Collum blocked her mouth while begging for mercy.

Makar ignored the old mans plea of mercy, for he had to confirm a serious matter.

"Woman, what did you say?" He asked in a very serious tone. While motioning Collum to remove his hands.

Collum hesitated but still released his hands and prayed for the best. Sky who could finally breath again coughed a few times, then with strong determination she stared into Makars abyss like eyes.

"I-I can cook.." She replied with a shaky voice.

Makars soul shook! He felt like the gods have finally answered his prayers, a blessing he's needed during all those years of torture. But Makar didn't show them he was greatly shocked. Instead he turned his gaze up towards the clear blue sky, as if he was thinking about it.

"What's your name?" Makar asked in a calm voice. 

Sky upon noticing the change in his voice saw hope.

"My name is Sky." She replied while showing her enchanting smile.

Makars heart shook! He felt like someone shot his heart with an arrow.

'Her name is Sky and she knows how to cook.. Is this a sign of the gods saying they forgive me?!' Makar thought excited. Inside his soul, Makar was screaming like a fan girl while the Devil was shaking his head in pity, then it went back to sleep.

Sky who is eagerly waiting for a reply was feeling nervous that he will decline. Fortunately, Makar stared at Sky then walked up to her, because he was a lot taller than her he had to look down. Which caused Sky be confused while blushing.

"I want you to do something first" Makar said.

A question mark appeared above Skys head.

"Before I accept you, ask your father first." He said as he pointed towards Collum, who stood there depressed when he realised Sky was really trying to leave him. He knew he wasn't the reason why, but he just couldn't help but feel lonely. 

Sky who saw her father depressed, slowly walked up to him hugging him softly.

"Father, I want to get stronger so I can control my own fate.." Sky said in a determined voice. Collum was in deep thought while rubbing her back slowly.

"Sigh.. I know... And your mother would be so proud." Collum replied, finally decided to let her precious daughter go with Makar. He let her go because today he saw how helpless he was when the demons attacked, but he also witnessed Makar a living and breathing legend, defeat them like nothing. So he also wanted his daughter to become strong enough to defend herself. Plus the safest place on Estrita is with Makar.

Sky was shocked while also happy. She tightened her hug and stayed like that for a few minutes. Makar who saw this heart warming scene, let them have their moment. 

Afterwards Sky said her final goodbye to her father, while Collum gave her a kiss on her forehead. 

Sky then walked back to Makar ready to leave.

"Are you sure you really want to do this." Makar questioned, just in case she changes her mind.

"Yes I am sure!" replied Sky enthusiasticly.

"You do know I'm going to be strict right?"

"Yes and I don't mind. Because I want to be strong just like you, so I can help you like you did to me." She replied with red cheeks, clearly she was embarrassed. Fortunately Makar didn't see it, but was just surprised from her words. But it also made his heart warm for some reason.

"Interesting.. I'm looking forward to that day." He said, while showing a rare smile. The killer smile made Sky's leg give out, but luckily Makar caught her while they slowly flew up in the air.

"From now on we're always together. Got it?" 

"Y-yes.. I promise." She quietily replied with heated face.

"Sky! always listen to Master Makar okay!" Collum shouted while waving to his daughter who was floating up into the air, who sweetly smiled back with tears trailing down her face. Soon they were slowly being swallowed by light then disappeared.

"I will wait for the day you return stronger." Collum mumbled while tears slid down his face. Then he turned around and left.

Makar and Sky teleported into his camping spot. Sky was a bit dizzy but looked around her surroundings, only to have her breath taken.

Sky gasped in amazement. She was now inside the core of Black Death Forest, a place no one in the 7 major races has ever been to. Sky felt like she was in a fairy tale for she could see colourful trees coming in all different sizes, massive lake beside them, green lushes grass, mana crystals lying around in every corner of the forest emitting bright colourful lights, little adorable furry animals which she knew were really strong because of the auras they were emitting. Sky sweated upon eye contact with a little horned rabbit, which bared it's fangs against her. Fortunately once it saw Makar it quickly dashed away. Even though it was night time it was still a beautiful scenery.

"Master you live here.. I'm very jealous." Sky said with a beautiful smile while her eyes were sparkling.

Makar who saw her smiling so brightly couldn't help but like her smile for some reason.

"Well of course I do, this is the only place that accepted me." He replied in a lonely tone.

"Oh.." Sky inwardly hit herself for bringing up such a topic for her master. Makar didn't really care about it because he's gained extra company, better yet a person who won't try to kill him.

(But later in the future he will realise how wrong he was.. Anyways.)

After a few minutes of awkward silence, a thundering voice interrupted.

"FILFY MORTAL! WE DIDN'T ACCEPT YOU!!" It was none other than the overgrown lizard.

"Kyyaaa!" Sky was frightened when she heard a loud and powerful voice behind her. She immediately ran behind Makar for protection, holding onto his back without realising it herself.

What entered her vision was a monster so massive that she had a hard time looking up. Sky was terrified when she saw this powerful behemoth, causing her jaw to drop.

Makar who saw this couldn't help but laugh a bit.

"Don't be afraid, that's just a harmless lizard."

"B-but isn't that the Legendary Overg--"

"HOW DARE YOU!!! I AM A PROUD ABYSSLING EMPEROR DRA--" Interrupted the lizard standing up while it held it's head high, but was quickly ignored when he tried telling them his proud history.

"Yeah, that's the guardian of the forest, Don't worry, he can't do anything to you when I'm around." Makar said ignoring the lizard.

Sky nodded then realised she was holding his back, immdeiately she backed off while blushing. She then pretend nothing happened and changed the topic.

"W-woow.. I didn't think I would get to live after meeting Black Death Forests guardian." replied Sky, she felt really special and thankful towards her new master. Who has showed her things no one else could. This caused her to feel a stronger burning sensation in her heart.

"Thank you.. for accepting me Master..." Sky replied with gratefulness while blushing.

"Hmm? Oh, no problem. But you need to sleep now, because tomorrow we're going to start our training."

"W-what?! Already... C-can we start the next day while I look around?"

"Nope, we need to train hard if you want to be able to help me someday." He said while summoning a sleeping bag for Sky. Then went to sleep. Sky was disappointed but didn't complain anymore, she snuggled up inside her sleeping bag which was one meter away from Makars, causing her to panic a little bit. Soon she got used to it.

After a while in deep thought Sky felt like none of this was real. Makar the legendary bringer of death is her master! She is in the core of Black Death Forest, and she's met the Guardian of Black Death Forest!

Once she thought of the lizard she immediately looked into the place he stood before. There she could see it now lying down, staring into the night sky while still talking.

"This one time these Frost Eagles stole my lunch, hateful bastards! I didn't cry! A bug flew into my eyes!" It said with tears swelling in it's eyes.

Sky who's curiousity couldn't be contained wanted to know more about this place and the guardian of it. She sneakily got up and tiptoed towards the lizard. While sneaking out she made sure Makar was still asleep, which he was because he was snoring loudly. 

She reached the lizard and sat on a log beside it's massive head, who was on the ground looking towards the stars. She was honestly afraid but she knew that she couldn't be afraid forever. And the lizard was afraid of Makar, boosting her confidence ever more.

"Guardian of the forest, can I ask you a question?"

The lizard turned it's massive eyes towards Sky who was beside him.

"Your already asking one mortal."

"Ohh.. U-um how long have you stayed inside this forest?"

The lizard stayed quiet for a while until he figured it would be nice to talk with someone for once.

"Hmm... I have ruled this forest for thousands of years! I was feared by all, I was respected by all! UNTIL THAT DAMNABLE DEVIL RUNIED EVERYTHING!! I'VE BEEN TORTURED FOR HUNDREDS OF YEARS SINCE THEN!!" It roared struggling to hold back it's tears.

Sky was stunned to know that Makar has known the guardian of the forest for hundreds of years.

"Do you hate Makar?" Sky asked curious.

"Mortal, I do not hate for that is a strong word.." The lizard said in a wise tone.

"Ohh.. so do you like Makar?" Sky was really curious now she started to stand up.

"No.. I DESPISE HIM!!"

Sky fell over her log thinking the guardian really is an idiot. However she couldn't help but laugh.

"What so funny mortal! you think I'm lying?!" 

"Haha.. I know you are. I know deep down you consider Makar your friend." Sky said with a beautiful smile.

The lizard was shocked he quickly stood up, causing the ground to shake. Then he crossed his arms and turned his gaze the other way.

"Preposterous!! I-I do not consider that devil a f-friend!" He said with his cheeks dyed red.

"Just the fact that your stuttering confirms it!!" Sky teased giggling.

"M-mortal how dare you! What is your name for I shall remember the mortal who insulted me!!" The lizard said furiously.

"My names Sky and what is your name?" Sky replied cheekily.

"Mortal! Remember my name!! for it is Abyssli--"

"That's not a name.. that's your race." Sky interrupted

The lizard stood there stunned, he just realised he didn't have a name!

"U-um.. Mortal! I don't need a nam--"

"What about Taulax!" Sky interrupted again.

"What a hideous name!!" 

"Where I come from Tau means mighty, and Lax means strength. So I thought you would like it because your mighty and you have strength. But if you don't li--"

"TAULAX!! FROM NOW ON I SHALL BE CALLED TAULAX!!" Taulax roared while laughing madly.

Sky was delighted that Taulax liked his new name, she couldn't help smiling ear to ear.

Taulax who caught Sky smiling felt his heart warm. He also couldn't help feeling she was a good person.

"Sky, because of your great deed of giving me a mighty name! I hereby announce you my second friend!" Taulax said while showing a rare smile, which looked really frightening for any soul. But Sky was really happy and shocked. She was happy because she could earn another friend who was really powerful, while she was shocked because she found out she was the second friend!

"Second?! Who's the first!!" Sky shouted full of curiosity.

"Sky even though you are now my friend, I am afraid I cannot tell you that." Taulax said while looking away blushing.

Sky was a bit disappointed but quickly got over it, for she was excited to have Taulax as her new friend.

"Um Taulax since we're friends.. can you tell me things about this forest?"

"Of course! Now listen up closely for we might spend the whole night." Taulax said while sitting down.

"I don't mind!" Sky answered cheerfully while moving closer. What they didn't know was Makar was fake sleeping and heard everything, he felt extremely happy that his new student was making friends with his friend. Then he actually went to sleep with a smile on his face.

Soon they talked about a lot of things, what type of monsters are living inside the forest, mana crystals, the food chain of the forest, some ruined temples, powerful materials only found here and more. Sky had wide sparkling eyes throughout the converstation. She felt like she discovered a new world.

They spent most of the night talking, until Sky was dozing off. Taulax who saw her falling sleep, used magic to softly lift her into her sleeping bag next to Makar. Then he stared at Sky for a bit thinking that she is a good friend he can talk too. Then he turned his gaze to Makar who was snoring, he couldn't help but feel grateful for having these two company him through his loney journey.

"Goodnight my new friend, Sky, and my first annoying friend.. Makar." He softly whispered then disappeared into the night.
