ALERT
SYSTEM REBOOT FOR EARTH 4 INITIATED
INTEGRATION INITIATED
PROGRESS 1%*
The man slowly sipped his cup of freshly brewed coffee. He stared at the notification. “That … doesn’t seem right,” he muttered as he watched the Integration begin on Earth Four.
Quickly bringing up several interfaces on his machine, he moved them to one of the dozen screens that surrounded him. Each was a projection of hard light, hovering in the air at eye level as he sat at his expansive desk.
Each hard light screen displayed a different world with its accompanying data set. From lizards to sentient rocks, the variation was wide and seemingly innumerable. But one section of screens was dedicated to a set of worlds labeled one through twelve. Earth’s One through Twelve to be exact.
“System, pause Integration and suspend Earth Four,” the man said, as he reviewed the data of the Administrators working in that Realm. “What the hell did you guys do?” he muttered.
INTEGRATION PAUSED
EARTH 4 SUSPENDED
Reviewing the information, the man grew more and more angry. Eventually, he sat back in disgust.
“I can't fucking believe they used those bird fucks to seed an Earth. And then changing it to a Dungeon World? Seriously? Fucking scrub Administrators. I should have recruited that Shane Jobs guy when he died. The human was a tech genius,” he grumbled.
He reviewed the preliminary settings for the world itself, noting that it was set up in a hex-based territorial system. “Unique, but not unwelcome,” he admitted to himself. Seeing that the energy the world was drawing in he grimaced. “Thing would have cracked open if they had left it alone. Thirty-six point four times the amount of normal pull on the Elemental Sea? Yeah, it would have been dust.”
The man edited the world, making it much larger, but slightly less dense than before. Leaving the core intact, he sunk hundreds of wells that connected to the Elemental Sea directly. This would stabilize the planet and keep the gravity, rotation, and effect on the star to close to what it was already. However, it would make it an absolute beacon in terms of energy generation.
The world would have nearly four times the surface area it had, with a massive empty shell between the crust and mantle. Lots of things would be different on this planet once the Integration was resumed and completed. It would be a new world after all. New follows old. Mastery through practice, even if that practice was in a place you hardly recognized.
Tapping his chin, he thought about the ruins around the planet. Thousands of cities that had housed billions of people. He couldn’t let that go to waste. Changing settings, he opted to expand the cities into true megalopolises. The ruins of them at least. Cities that were compacted into dozens of miles now spanned hundreds, with the tech that had made them initially spread out in the form of recoverable and salvageable tech. That would give the explorers both on the world and abroad a valid reason to explore and expand.
Happy with that, he filled every city to the brim with the undead. Multiplying their number until it was appropriate. He did, however, reset them all to the basic undead. Some of those variants were just … out of control.
He moved on to reviewing the information of the guy who placed the core on the world. Some dude named Raymond. At least they had found an effective scrub to get the work done. Not only did he stay alive, but through a series of lucky interactions and seemingly miraculous events, he managed to place the core and even move it later on.
“This guy seems … stubborn but able. Why didn’t he pick a class though?” he wondered, reviewing the Systems recordings of his actions. “No shit? He forgot? He had an advisor and he forgot? I take back what I said, this guys an idiot. But those Admins won't get their way. No way in hell is an Earth turning into a Dungeon world.”
Swiping the data set to the side it was shoved onto a new screen that appeared out of thin air. The man brought up a new set of screens and began rapidly entering information into them.

HEX GRID SYSTEM UPDATED TO OPEN CLAIM SYSTEM
Nodding in satisfaction the man sat back. The world would now retain all of its features, technological wonders, and have a massive number of options thrown into the works. That fixed the Integration and the claim system that Eric and his cronies fucked up.
He was sure Sam was probably lurking around somewhere too. Those two had a love-hate relationship that even he didn’t fully understand, and it tended to fuck with everything around them.
Seeing another set of Integration options for the undead, he whistled. These guys had plans to make the undead progressively less hurt by the sunlight by increasing the ambient levels of Miasma over time. That was a no-no, as it essentially condemned every living thing on the planet to death. He reversed the setting but enabled the buff option for summoned and controlled undead. The same as it would have been on any other world that was maintained by the System.
As he reviewed everything he was about to close the screens when a tiny snippet of data caught his eye. With an eye twitch that could have obliterated a solar system, he opened the packet of information. Then he got angry, truly angry.
They hadn’t been content to just cut him off from the shop, take weapons he had scavenged as fair loot, restricted his ability to choose his class, and mess with the world itself. No. They had restricted his stats and their application to his physical being. They had also fucked with the Nemesis, ensuring that it kept coming back to kill him. Repeatedly.
“You … you fuckers. You sadistic fuckers,” he raged, slamming his coffee cup down onto the desk shattering it, and spilling the precious liquid everywhere. With a wave of his hand, the mess was gone and a freshly filled, whole cup appeared. “You took his weapons, you took his shop access, you prevented him from changing his class when he finally had an opportunity to do so … no. Oh, ho, ho, no. You guys are fucked now.”
NEMESIS SYSTEM DEACTIVATED
“Now what to do with you …” the man wondered aloud. Then he snapped his fingers. “Perfect! You rescued that pup and it seems to be doing ok. Let's give your new four-legged friend a bit of a … boost.”
NEMESIS SYSTEM REMOVED
SOUL COMPANION SYSTEM ACTIVATED
NEMESIS DATA CONVERSION STARTED: 1% COMPLETE
“Perfect. Gonna load you for bear my man, make you borderline OP,” he said to himself, pleased with how his little bit of revenge was coming along. Tapping his chin and quirking an eyebrow, he made a snap decision and doubled Raymond’s stats. That should give him a nasty boost in capability. Let's see those fucking bird brains get one over him now.
He grinned evilly as he made some alterations directly to Raymond Finnegan. Normally if you survived to the Integration you would be allowed to pick from a series of classes based on your achievements. It was a way of rewarding those with enough ingenuity, determination, and tenacity to survive and even thrive during a species ending crisis.
But the Administrators, probably will a bit of help from Sam, interfered in that process. Significantly interfered. Raymond was set up to be able to choose from nearly fifteen different classes ranging from Basic to Heroic, with one choice in the latter category. But the man was about to change all that.
Wiping the choices from the field, he grinned ferally. This Raymond guy seemed like a survivor, a fighter. Someone he could kind of relate to. He hated seeing guys like that screwed by beings that thought they were above other forms of life. And fucking with the System and the way it was supposed to run. This was how the Game got out of control initially after all.
It was time to level the playing field and get a bit of revenge on those pompous ass Gods.
With a series of curious keystrokes, the man altered Raymond Finnigan’s future.
CLASS ASSIGNMENT OVERRIDE
TARGET: RAYMOND FINNIGAN
“Fuck with the System? Fuck with my rules? Fuck with everything I have worked so hard to maintain? There are consequences to your actions.,” he said gleefully, “Get ready to experience them firsthand.
The man initiated two actions in addition to the changes that he had made prior. The first was that he forcibly dragged every single Administrator God involved with Earth Four and dropped them in the maelstrom of the Integration. He then sent them a message directly, explaining what had happened and why. Spending a few hundred years surviving on a newly Integrated world should teach them a lesson. They would be back in their roles in the blink of a celestial eye. No harm, no foul. But a lesson well learned.
The second was a direct result of him feeling this Raymond guy was still getting the short end of the stick. He had a soft spot for the Earth’s, as his Father had come from Earth-Two. So he set about creating a Class just for him. A … kind of bonus for having fought so long and hard to achieve what he wanted. Survival for his species in that universe.
Classes were so rarely created from scratch that the mere idea was considered a myth. Fable. Made up. A complete and total lie. Even classes such as Myrmidon existed within the System and its vast repository of information and data. However, having a class tailored for an individual? Held back from the Systems database? Making it truly and absolutely unique? In the four thousand years they had been overseeing the System, spreading its influence, and ensuring that it was properly used, such an action had never been performed.
But that changed the moment Raymond Finnigan, a human on a small world called by the substance that made up most of it, had a class created just for him. A unique class that took him from a possible Heroic Tier Class straight to the equivalent of a Mythic, with all the accompanying benefits … and even more.
A class that could change reality itself within his universe. If he survived long enough to develop it that is. Oh, this would be fun to watch.
CLASS ASSIGNED
SYSTEM LORD
The man sat back and steepled his fingers, examining his changes. Then he grinned at his changes. This would work. Earth Four would be the launching point for a new humanity in that universe. And a new weapon and tool for them to use against their enemies.
Another screen popped up in front of him, asking for the changes to be accepted in mass. He hit the accept key with no hesitation, leaning back to sip his coffee.
