Syn sprinted through streets while trying to ignore the fact that lightning and thunder were happening almost simultaneously. He attempted to travel in the direction he’d heard the scream, but it was getting difficult he hadn’t heard a noise for a while and was now running around lost. Maybe that was a good thing if the screams have stopped maybe the person was fine now Syn hoped. As if the world was listening, a gut-wrenching scream could be heard nearby, tearing his hopes to pieces. Syn sprinted full force and in an instant he found himself infront of an alleyway. Inside the ally was four men dressed in black, their faces covered by balaclavas, the one at the front was holding a crowbar that was worryingly bloody. ‘Well that’s not good’. Deep into the alley past the group of men, was a girl who didn’t look much older than Syn and she was holding a man who he assumed was her boyfriend. The issue was he had blood pouring down his face and wasn’t moving.
“He should’ve just given us the money” the man holding the crowbar growled, his accent thick, “But no he wanted to act hard in front of his bird”.
‘Assholes’ Syn didn’t wait to hear much more and ran towards them. He grabbed the one closest to him his hand wrapping around the guy’s entire head. Before he could react Syn threw him against the brick wall and his body instantly went limp. The other three quickly turned around after hearing their friend drop to the ground. The man holding the crowbar approached Syn.
“Who the fuck are you?” he said confused. Syn didn’t respond and instead scowled at him through the rain. His two friends started to cautiously approach Syn, however, were signalled to stop the man then raised his crowbar towards Syn’s face.
“Get on your knees and give me everything on you” the guy with the crowbar stated.
“Get on my knees? Who the do you think you are” Syn scoffed.
“Last chance” the man growled.
“I can’t tell whether you’re an idiot or just a prick” Syn said. The crowbar suddenly came swinging at Syn’s head, but he just casually raised his arm. The crowbar stuck against his forearm. Nothing happened. Syn stared down his attacker with bored eyes. More concerned about how the storm was growing more aggressive than the bar of steel.

“An idiot it is” Syn confirmed. Stunned the man pulled back his weapon to reveal a dent in the metal where it had struck Syn.
“If you’re hitting people that hard you’re gonna kill someone dumbass” said Syn. The man gave him one of the reactions he usually got. Fear filled his eyes and he let out a panicked swing but in a flash Syn stepped forward and shoved his foot into his attackers chest. The force of the kick sent him flying back down the alley and he came crashing into the ground just in front of the couple. He didn’t get up. The final two thieves stared at Syn, clearly scared, puzzled and had absolutely no idea what just happened. Syn didn’t blame them everyone had that reaction. Even he didn’t understand why he could do that. Ever since he was eleven his body had become insanely strong and big, he’d never tested its limits, not wanting to accidently get himself killed, but when he was fourteen he got hit by a truck and was able to walk it off like nothing happened, disappearing before the driver could even get out the vehicle and see the huge dent he’d left.
Even after witnessing what had happened to their friends the two thieves stupidly charged towards Syn. He swatted the first away with a backhand and gripped the second by his throat pulling him off his feet like he was a child and then slamming him down into the ground. Both of them remained motionless. Looking over to the couple he could see the man was conscious again. They both stared at him with wide confused eyes.
“Go on get out of here!” he urged, noticing how the storm was growing stronger. Thunder shook the sky and they instantly got up and rushed on past him taking extra cautious when passing him. Syn didn’t blame them he’d also probably be a little scared if he just watched a man twice their size ragdoll four other people. Well he would if he was normal. He waited a second to give them time to get away, so it didn’t look like he was following them. However, he also quickly departed when to storm somehow grew even stronger. Was it targeting in on him? No that’s not possible is it?
He sprinted back towards his house trying to avoid any deep puddles he saw, the last thing he needed now was wet feet. Suddenly he was brought to an immediate halt. Something crashed down in front of him like a bolt of lightning shattering the pavement. ‘What the-’
“Syn Veroir!” A deep and gruff voice bellowed like thunder. The voice came from what he could only assume was a man draped in a black and worn cloak a hood hiding his face and upper body. The whole situation baffled him but what caught Syn’s eye the most was how HUGE he was.
