We open up and see everyone in a living room sitting on separate chairs,couches or the floor . “ so for starters what the fuck is all of yall’s names and explain to me where we are and what is with the armor delta is wearing “ ivan asks “ well my name is sigrun this is eir , gierdriful , gondola , gunnir , hildr , kara , olrun , rota and echo and we are the 9 valkyries “ sigrun says introducing herself and the other 8 valkyries . “ wait wait, just go back a bit you guys are the 9 valkyries the same valkyries that helped end the first 3 holy wars ? “ Ivan asks curious to see if he's right . “ well yes that is true we were summoned to help finish off the first , second and third holy wars via the gods wish but we wouldn't really say finished off more like helped out “ Eir explains whilst eating an apple “ how so ? “ frezzy asks also eating an apple “ well the gods were the ones that started the holy wars in the first place since they kind of made the mortals create and item known as the holy grail an artifact of such purity and mana that it can imbued the user with god like abilities and magic with added on effects and not just that it can also grant wonders if some requirements are met “ gondola explains “ and to add on to that but the grail has the ability to create artifacts imbued with magic that could theoretically surpass the gods power itself and it can boost people with a deep belief with religion . “ eir explains again “ okay so millions if not billions of mortals and beasts and monsters have been killed butcher and fucking slaughtered for a golden cup that can basically grant wishes and give people god like power and create artifacts if some requirements are met that just sounds like bad showsmen ship “ frezzy says “ yes that basically sums up the first 3 holy wars “ gondola says . “ okay that explains my first two questions but what about the armor delta is wearing right now “ Ivan asks concerned about delta “ well for one it's called the ranvanger armor we don't really know when it was made or what its made of but what we do know is that it was created to help the gods with their endeavors and in the holy wars themselves “ gunnir explains “ now that is a interesting history fact but that doesn't really explain what the armor does “ frezzy says “ i know i was getting to that anyway the armor itself has the ability of what's known as insanity basically what the ability does is a bit complex you see insanity isn't just one ability its a collection of abilities that have mutated and evolved during its life time first of witch is the mark of insanity this ability marks the user of the armor with well the mark of insanity which does grant them heightened combat abbilites power , strength , mana and speed . the second is the berserker ability which helps the user numbs out the damage dealt by physical , mental or magical attacks and increases their durability . The third ability chains of madness which grants the user the ability to stop fatal attacks from being fatal and the more attacks dealt to the user whilst this ability is active makes the user more and more enraged . the fourth ability limit breaker this ability allows the user t break through their limits through sheer rage alone aswell as grant the near god like power “ sigrun explains “ this sounds like more of a power boost than a torture device “ Ivan says as he looks at sigrun . “ well thing is the armor yes drains your mana , stamina but it pushes the user sanity and will power to the limit up until the breaking point and the only thing that is holding down this beast that you call a brother is the angels that are holding and embedding magic and mana within what's called the chains of heaven aka the chains that are keeping him in check and counter acting all the abbilites of the armor and your brothers abbilites and magic “ sigrun further explains “ so the armor grants major power and magic in a cost of your sanity “ ivan says looking at her with rage in his eyes “ now look i know that you probably want to kill me and the other valkyries but well give an offer witch could free your brother if you manage to complete it “ sigrun says “ just what are you trying to say that there's a way to get him out of that hell-like armor ? “ Ivan says with some hope in his eyes “ yes there are a couple of ways “ sigrun says as everyone starts to listen .
