Hello Denizens of Royal roads and beyond, welcome to this story of mine Heir of Blood & Night, Of Saints & Heralds Saga. First of all, I’m so grateful for taking the time to read this. Unlike so many great stories in this website, this will be my second attempt at giving this a try after my first attempt crushed and burned because of some very poor choices.

Now let me get straight to point. Here is the premise of this story for those who would take the time to read this. This would be a high fantasy tale with some very dark themes woven into its plot. Expect some gore, violence, questionable choices, motivated characters, secrets upon secrets just waiting to be uncovered. It won’t be perfect but I promise it would definitely be one hell of a ride. Any encouragement would be very much appreciated. Some weak willed authors like me live on the positive reinforcement from our readers. We inhale those words at our darkest times and they give us strength on days where strength and motivation escape us. I roughly predict this story would take course over 500 chapters and approximately 5 Volumes, each one representing a different part of the main’s character journey.

The Format of this webnovel will be divided into 3; the normal chapter that will push the main plot forward, The Past chapters that will offer relevant insight into the past events of any kind. Admittedly these would be very rare and I will always note them in the chapter title. The third will of course be the Interludes. These would provide current but perspective from many other characters apart from the main one. They are not a must read but it would be a good enough device in plotting and overshadowing in the story.

I have to admit the current release rate is abysmal. 1 Chapter per week release rate is usually enough to kill the story or stymie its growth in the early phase. But this story is not only for the readers; it is also for me. Unlike other authors, writing takes a whole lot outta me. This release rate would allow me the freedom to plot and write higher quality chapters. Personally, I would never sacrifice better writing for mediocre chapters. If I’m going to write I might as well aim for the best. This is not to say the release rate won’t be better in the future especially if there would happen to be anyone interested in supporting me in Patreon but for now, I would be taking it one step at time until the day I can actually fly with my own wings.

Now because I’m using a certain very old laptop, my means of communication are kind of limited. For those who would have some personal constructive criticism for me, a personal message would be very much appreciated. I won’t promise much but I’m here to learn and improve. This is something that every author needs in order to grow and mature.

Almost 600 words are enough for me to convey everything I can at the moment. If I have any other update or something I would inform all of you on the Author’s post it on every chapter. Very grateful such a feature exists.
