On our way to the castle I took a peek out the window to look at the city and the people who lived in it..

I noticed no big differences between my old world's medieval times and these fantasy medieval times.

I mean..of course there were some potions shops(duh) and there were people everywhere...

And most of the buildings seemed brighter.

But the overall atomosphere seemed the same..

"Have you ever been in a capital city Sir Rallo?"

Princess Lisa asked.

"..uhh yeah a couple".. but non this ancient looking.

"Really? Can you name a few?"

"ehh.. they are a long ways away from us now.."

'Yeah... another fucking world..'

"a place named Montgomery, Atlanta... uhh actualty i think ive only been to two.."

"Wow sir.. no offense, but you should get out more.."

'says the bitch who lives in a medieval world while we are riding in a fucking carridge...'

No way.. I mean it shouldn't be possible right.

It will definitley save me some effort in establishing my rule over this world..

But keeping it in arms reach is just asking for world domination..

What if my internet still works, wouldn't I basically become a semi all-knowing freak of nature..

How about I just go ahead and see....

MY FUCKING PHONE!!....

I instantly follow my normal precedure of 'phone going off at a bad time', which is slipping my hand in my pocket and gracefully flicking my phone into silent mode..

But I couldn't help myself and instantly smiled from ear to ear.

I then followed by sratching my leg to play off my earlier actions..

"Huh?? Did you hear something Sir?!"

"uhh nope.. not-nothing at all~ Maybe it was the wind.."

"Oh okay, well we will be coming up on the castle soon, I can't wait to introduce you to my father."

"so i get to meet the king just like that?.. shouldn't I have for wait the king like any normal~"

"NOO.. No, Sir Rallo you are not normal, you can manipulate 3 elements while battling close combat. No [Mage] in history has ever done that since [Immemorial Times]."

'[Immemorial Times]?'

'woah.. sounds like they had it rough system-kun, but I only remember asking about [Immemorial Times], not the whole damn history of the world.. It might be too early for such deep explainations..

'also.. why do you keep saying we?'

"..... oh look the castle."

We finally arrived at the castle, and what can I say..

It doesn't look that bad.. but they could atleast make it look more overwhelming..

Someone ancient once said never judge a book by its cover.. so I won't...

But this castle fucking sucks..

I mean the castle itself looks to be of some sort of stone or brick, but upon closer inspection I noticed an almost transparent layer of mana surrounding each block of the castle. The feeling I get from this layer of mana is totally different from other types of mana, such as the warmth of Fire MP or the chilliness of Air MP, it is more of numbing sensation. I decide to turn my attention away from the blocks, as the sensation grew stronger the closer we got.

Upon turning my head I notice a crowd has gathered in front of the castle gates. I also noticed multiple [Knight] squads rushing to control the rapidly growing crowd on each side of the street.

One [Knight] squad stood out in particular because of their armor, which had to cost a fortune based on the reaction they got from the crowd.

"Hey guys, have you heard the news yet?? I hear the princess was saved by someone and was brought home."

"I've heard this as well, aparently the king himself has decided to meet this fellow without any prior appointments.."

"Wow Really?? He must be pretty great to get a meeting with the king.."

"I heard this is just another ploy by the nobles to rally support for their recent movements lately."

"Oh yeah, why go through the trouble of locking down the borders if the princess really wasn't missing."

"Who knows, maybe the rumors of the citizen miltia were true afterall."

"Ahh look there, the Royal Knights have appeard."

"Look at armor on those guys, no wonder they are called the royals"

"Don't look in awe people!! Remember it is us who pays for their equipment!"

"What is he saying?" "Huh?" "So that's where my earnings are going?"

"MAKE WAY FOR THE PRINCESS!!" "MOVE IT!!" "MAKE WAY!!"

"Aahh stop pushing we are moving as fast-"

"STOP RUNNING YOUR MOUTH AND GET TO MOVING!!"

"You see how they treat those who provide for them, but will bark at anything that comes close their royalty.. Such a shame this country has become."

"YOU- You dare say that infront her highness. You shall not live to see the changes to come"

Right as things were turning out for the ugly, Princess Lisa stepped out of the carridge and all eyes, whether citizen or soldier, were glued onto her.

"Ahh we are finally here.. We must quickly hurry to my father's throne room so he can meet my savior."

"sure.. but shouldn't you greet your people first Princess?"

"No Sir Rallo, they are just peasants afterall, and have no real influence behind them. In fact I'll tell my guards to cut them down to clear the way."

'Ok.. No wonder they are plagued with civil strife, they treat their fellow humans as wheat to a sickle, cutting them down almost on a whim."

"no need for that Princess, I'll get you~"

But just before I could my sentence out, there was an sudden change in our surroundings..

Although everything seemed normal on the surface, I could feel a difference in the Fire MP in our surrounding areas...

It wasn't as dense as I previously felt not even a second before, so something dramatic was definitley about to go down..

There was not even a second after I realized these changes, before the system, with it's 'oh so fast' reflexes, decided to tell me about incoming danger..

Warning!! Incoming magic! Threat Level: 3/5!!

I could feel the heat rising in the carridge so I decide to take action..

I quickly conjured a water ball using [Water Touch] , I then began streching the water ball so that the princess and I were covered in it.. This took no longer then 2 seconds, which seems to be barely in time because I could clear feel the Fire MP getting stronger and converging on us at a rapid pace.

This rapidly converging Fire MP turned out to be a what is known as a [Fireball], and although it seemed way stronger than my [Flame Touch] fireball from earlier, I could tell be the denisty of Fire MP in the [Fireball] that this was not the case.

But nontheless, fire is fire, so when it meets something as combustible as wood, guess what it will do...

That's right.. Combust..

"BOOOM!!"

In an instant, the carriage we were previoulsy riding in burst into flames and quickly spread across the entire carriage.

If it wasn't for [Threat Detection], the princess would probably be burnt to a crisp by now..

I quickly used [Teleport] while putting my arm around the princess's waist..

But to keep the element of surprise going, I decided to [Teleport] straight up...

All onlookers saw was huge [Fireball] appear out of seemingly nowhere, and hit the carriage the supposed missing princess was in.. Then after the explosion the princess and some unknown person appeared 3 meters above the burning wreckage..

No one, not even the Royal Knights could react quick enough to the explosion, some were even caught and serverly injured in the explosion itself, not to mention saving the princess..

Yet, some unknown person managed to save her in the nick of time.. Of course the crowd who were just pushed back and most likely saved by the Royal Knights could only stare at the two as they seemed to hover over the crowd.

Of course, I noted all these things while I searched for the one responsible for such a devious method of attack..

They were not to hard to find though as they stood out in the crowd especially from 3 meters up. There was killing intent radiating towards us in amounts I've never felt before..

I mean not like i've been in any dangerous situtations like this before.. I'm just saying..

I met eyes with whom I believe is the leader of the group and I instantly felt something was off about him.

His eyes glowed with a red hue, that was noticable even this far away.. He also seemed to attract Fire MP towards himself without much effort so if I had to guess he would definitley be the person who fired off the [Fireball].

I used [Teleport] again the get the princess closer to the castle.

The princess seemed more or less confused about the whole situtation, not only did this magician who once saved her life reveal he could use a fourth element, but he also just saved her life once again..

She could only stay frozen in his grasp as they instantly appeared in front of the castle..

Once we landed we were almost instantly surrounded by an even more special looking squad of [Knights] who came rushing out of the castle after the explosion.

"uhh.."

"GUARD THE PRINCESS!!"

"Sir Rallo, please help me get to my father!!"

"umm su-"

But again I was cut off by a change in our surroundings. I was sure this was [Threat Detection]..

The Mana in the our surroundings didn't react like last time though, meaning this had to be a person..

"get behind me princess.."

She instantly did as I said, I guess the experience in the forest tempered her into listening to me somehow..

Immediatley after she moved the group who was responsible for the attack stepped out of the crowd to confront us..

'well he isn't that stronger than me but he definitely has an advantage, I really need to get a better understanding of the of how the stats work..'

"Well well, seems the princess has made it back alive, I guess we will have to do this the hard way."

'this guy really is brave to brazenly attack the princess out in the open like this, plus the guards even seem to be afaid of him..'

"Le-Leestan, you shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the captial city not to mention the royal castle.. Quickly someone go find one of the officers!!"

'ok, maybe they were a little too scared.. they really need better training.'

'now the real question is how should i kill these assholes who decided to attack me without my knowledge..'

I quickly checked my mana because I don't want a rerun of what happen in the forest.

'only 189?!'

'I mean it's still more than the big/little shit who attacked by far.. like 6 times more.. Guess I'm complaining for nothing--'

"I hope you guys didn't think you were leaving here alive!"

"Men! ATTACK!!"

'And now he is attacking... Like right now in the middle of my bitchy self gloating.. '

'I guess i'll show what happens when you interupt a MC."

I used [Flame Touch] to make a spear of flames about 2 meters in length, then compressed it using [Wind Touch] while also adding a clockwise rotation to the spear.

I then stepped out to face the group of charging rebels..

Now you might be thinking, 'how' heroic of him to protect the princess in her time of need'. But I can ensure you that this is purely out of rage.

Once the rebels saw me stepping out in front of the guards they stopped their advance, although I expected them to slow down because of a newcomer like myself, holding a flaming short spear, had walked out before the guards. I never expected them to stop completely. This kinda put me on edge.

"Well, well.. What do we have here, some hired helped?.. guess I'll have to head out earlier then planned.."

'So this was planned.. thanks for letting me know, Leestan,,'

"So you know some magic huh?, How about this kid, you join us in the Forsaken and we will overlook this whole incident you caused us today. Sounds pretty good right?"

"... Leestan, you really don't understand the situation you are in, how about this, just go die"

"YO-You insolent brat, I'll teach you a little something about respect."

After a quick back and forth with the idoit known as Leestan, he decided to attack me first.. One of the few major mistakes he made this day.

Leestan quickly closed the distance between me and him, but the distance was the only thing saving him from death.

I waited until I was within Leestan's striking range before I got into a semi-defensive stance.. I mean its not like I've had formal training with a spear, just going with the flow of things.

I begun using a technique i've never tried before but since my magic is based off my imagination, it should work.

I quickly cancelled my spear and attempted to control the space between Leestan and I. Back on my Earth, we humans could only imagine space as plane which can be influenced by the mass of a certain object within that plane. This probably doesn't translate over to a world with actual magic in it, but it wouldn't hurt to try.

I poured a little mana into my surroundings while imagining the space between Leestan and I being compressed until there was maybe a couple inches between us.

Then... nothing, absolutely nothing.. Leestan didnt appear in front of me like I imagined, in fact he didn't even move a step closer to me..Actually everything seemed to stop within the city.. Even breeze which I felt literally seconds ago seemed to slow to a halt..

There was absolutely no movement within 15 meters of my location, but that was definetly part my plan.. definetley....

I obviously wasnt included within those things that couldnt move.

But when I tried to move towards my target, I felt extremely heavy.. I mean I could still move but it was literally like a snail moving on a treadmill that is set at a snail's speed. I tried to speed up my movement using magic but to no avail.

Instead I used my signature move [Teleport] to get behind Leestan.. I quickly checked my mana and saw something disturbing.

Every second I lost 30 MP while using my new spell. This wouldn't be a problem normally but with only 189 MP left and with me being surrounded by strangers and enemies of a new world, it's not a situtation I would like to be in.

I quickly, relative to everyone else around me, reached for the weapon in Leestan's hands and easily broke it using my new found strength.

With at least 3 seconds gone by, I stopped using mana to control my surroundings.

Everything then went back to 'normal' as Leestan shot forward empty handed into the crowd of guards surrounding the princess. I then placed my hand on the ground and used [Earth Touch] to capture the group who surrounded Leestan when he first attacked us. Most were easily captured since they were still in shock from my first display of magic, but some were quicker than others.

I used the rest of my mana to conjure a small fireball which I used to kill of the rest of our attackers who attempted to flee.

I then looked back towards the groups of guards who I left to deal with Leestan, and surprise surprise... He ended being captured after taking down a few guards using his almost competent martial skills.. To my surprise though, there were no serious injuries within the guard's troop, and even Leestan seemed to be surprised at the fact.. Though that might be because I literally disappered along with his weapon within a couple inches of his face. Either way, it was a major failure on the behalf of the Foresaken.

With that minor problem taken care of, I now have an even more major problem to take care of..

Where in the hell am I gonna find an outlet so I can charge my phone?
