Heavenly Swordsman: World Redux
The Land of Han'ei - 250 Years Later

The Land of Han'ei - 250 Years Later

In the Kachi era, Kachito Mishimura became Heavenly Swordsman. In doing so he successfully banished his mother, the Great God Yo-Kai Kunshu, who was puppeteering the corpse that would bear him. He had saved Han'ei, and went on to separate with his friend Zotawa Rodin and married Lei-Lei Katsukura.

He went on to have 14 children. He lived till the age of 91 and in his death bed he now laid. The legendary armament, the Yo-Kai Slaying Katana - Mochi, on his chest, to be taken once he passed. To be sent down through the generations. Surrounded by Lei-Lei and his children, his final words would leave his mouth...

Kachito: "I leave Mochi to Kazuya, my eldest son, and I am ready to see Zotawa in the Realm of Spirits, the part uninfected by my mother. Is Zotawa waiting for me up there..."

He looked to Lei-Lei, a warm smile decorated his wrinkled lips...

Kachito: "I'll definitely wait for you...Lei-Lei..."

His eyes shut, his Kami no Chikara levels faded. He had passed. Peaceful wind through an opening in his home blew through his hair. Lei-Lei, tears in her eyes, would pick up Mochi and gift it to Kazuya. And upon that day, the Kachi Era would start its end, a new Heavenly Swordsman would be picked. Such was the cycle of things.

IN THE TIME BETWEEN THE 250 YEARS...

The Global Government had rebuilt their power and established more divisions as technology improved and Han'ei's population increased. Before long, the loss of the Yo-Kai Kunshu's might was no longer a hindrance. There was a new Oni Council established, many new clans that were lesser known allied with them.

The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings.

Han'ei itself had developed, by the end of the 250 years between the Kachi Era and the Mid-Terī Era, they had developed phones, cars, skyscrapers and big cities to go with. Even trains for even quicker transport. Though, there were quite a lot of Han'ei that was countryside.

               PRESENT DAY IN HAN'EI...

On a balcony sat a 19 year old boy in a black hoodie and the pants to go with a gi. Also black, with white parts to it. Hid white hair flowing in the breeze atop the tall building. On his hip was a katana passed down through his family, Mochi. Kei-Kei Mishimura, descendant of Kachito Mishimura. However, there is more to him then that. On his left side is a grey horn with purple marks, his entire left side grey with hardened skin and purple marks. Oni skin.

Kei-Kei Mishimura was born half-Oni. Called a freak by many, however he never took it to heart. He was still a pure soul, kind and generous, if not a bit dense and low in IQ. Beside him was another boy with light blue hair done up in a ponytail. Wearing a white hoodie with grey sweats. Two katanas on his hip. Shintawa Rodin, the only living member of the Rodin Clan, at least in his generation.

The two had met in the orphanage they grew up in. The two were close. Best friends. Kei-Kei only valued his brother more. Until they went separate ways that is. Mochi was left in Kei-Kei's basket when he was a mere babe. Never had the blade left him, being registered to his Kami no Chikara, even when it was small. Though, Kei-Kei had yet to be taught Kami no Chikara properly.

Shintawa mainly tutored him, since he actually studied under a sword master. Shintawa blew a strand of hair from his eyes, before glancing at Kei-Kei...

Shintawa: "So, now that the Heavenly Swordsman was confirmed dead you wanna be the next one huh? Seriously dude, thousands of swordsmen are doing that since the articles came out. There's a slim chance."

Kei-Kei: "I wanna make a name for myself, find out about my family! Slim doesn't mean none Shintawa!"

Shintawa: "Aye aye aye...this is why I'm glad I knew my family before running off. You just seek shit out...but fine. I won't defy it. So, that cousin you mentioned...Dasizai. He's in Parados City?"

Kei-Kei: "Mhm!"

Shintawa: "Right. I forgot he visited with his folks when we were kids. I still think it's bull they didn't take you in. Being their nephew and Dasizai's cousin. But whatever."

Kei-Kei giggled at Shintawa before waving his left, Oni arm.

Kei-Kei: "There's no room for negativity when I've got history to make!"

Kei-Kei said that with his trademark smile, the Oni fangs on his mouths left side making it more gripping. Shintawa sighed and nodded, before standing up off of the balcony with Kei-Kei. The two went down the building and began walking towards the subway station to catch a train to Parados City, where Kei-Kei's cousin, Dasizai Mishimura, would be.
