Cultivation.
Nie Li mulled over the concept as he stared at the system screen before him.
What exactly was it?
In essence, cultivation was the process of making oneself more powerful through specific methods.
There were numerous paths one could take on this journey, but the most common boiled down to two types: Soul Cultivation and Body Cultivation.
Soul Cultivation involved using special techniques, consuming pills, and utilizing mystical items to enhance one's soul force, thereby unlocking greater power.
On the other hand, Body Cultivation required rigorous physical training, harnessing soul force to strengthen the body beyond ordinary limits.
As Nie Li reflected on this information, he gazed upon the system screen.
[ Mission: Plan to Win the Heavenly Marks Family Heir's Competition ]
[ Objective: Secure victory in the competition to determine the heir of the Heavenly Marks Family. ]
[ Potential Outcomes: ]
- [ 1- Ascend to the 1 Star Bronze Rank Fighter. ]

[ Warning: Selection of one of the outcomes will initiate simulation, rendering the player unconscious as the body enters auto mode to execute the plan. ]
[ Actions Required: ]
[ Choose Your Desired Outcome ]
As Nie Li pondered his options, he realized that the first choice was pointing towards body cultivation. But a question nagged at him. "Body cultivation usually takes months, even years, to show significant effects. The competition is just one week away. Why is this option even here?" he thought, confused by the system's suggestion.
With a flick of his finger, Nie Li interacted with the system screen, seeking more details about this seemingly impractical option.
[ Option 1: ]
[ Description: Upon selection, the system will cause player Nie Li's body to enter auto mode, where he will undergo intensive training for 3 days. This relentless regimen is designed to push his limits and achieve the rank of 1 Star Bronze Fighter, enhancing his combat skills and abilities to meet the competition's demands. ]
Upon reading the description of Option 1, Nie Li couldn't help but almost burst into laughter.
"Three days... That's ridiculous," he thought. Back in the Holy Orchid Institute, it had taken him a grueling seven months to reach the rank of a 1-Star Bronze Fighter, and that was with the help of instructors and even pills to boost his progress.
He paused, his finger hovering over the screen.
The claims made by the system seemed outlandish, almost laughable.

Yet, as he reflected on the situation, Nie Li remembered that this very system had somehow managed to turn back time, bringing him to this point in his life once again.
"If it can do that, who's to say it can't make this possible too?" he mused, the skepticism in his mind battling with a growing sense of curiosity.
Nie Li shrugged.
"Well, there's only one way to find out," he thought, his decision made.
He tapped Option 1.
"Let's see what this system can really do," Nie Li said to himself.
[ Selection Confirmed: Player Nie Li has chosen Option 1. ]
[ Initiating: Auto Training Mode. ]
[ Process: Commencing intensive training regimen for 3 days to achieve 1 Star Bronze Rank Fighter status. ]
[ Status: Player Nie Li will now enter a state of unconsciousness as the body optimizes for peak performance enhancement. ]
[ Estimated Completion: 3 Days. ]

As Nie Li opened his eyes, he found himself lying on the ground, his vision filled with pot holes around him.
Groaning, he pushed himself up, immediately noticing a throbbing pain throughout his body. Glancing at his hands, he saw they were stained red with dried blood, and his clothes were torn and tattered.
He realized he was right outside his house. "What just happened?" Nie Li muttered to himself, trying to piece together his last memories.
Suddenly, he heard a familiar voice.
"Big brother, you are finally awake."
Turning, Nie Li saw his younger cousin, Nie Yu, running towards him with a glass of water in her hand.
Without a second thought, Nie Li snatched the glass from her.
"Hey, that's mine," Nie Yu complained, but Nie Li was too parched to care.
He gulped down the water as if it were the most precious thing in the world, feeling a wave of relief wash over him.
After catching his breath, Nie Li looked at his sister.
"Nie Yu, what happened to me?" he asked, his voice laced with confusion.
"I don't know, big brother. You suddenly ran out of your room and started doing circles?" Nie Yu said with a hint of innocence in her voice.
"Circles?" Nie Li echoed, baffled.
Nie Yu nodded and then, with a burst of enthusiasm, attempted to do a somersault. Unfortunately, her coordination was off, and she ended up landing awkwardly on her back with a thud. Nie Li couldn't help but laugh at her adorable failure.
"Anything else?" Nie Li inquired, still chuckling as Nie Yu sat up, pouting from the mishap.
"Yeah, you then started doing this," Nie Yu said, standing up to demonstrate some sort of peculiar Kata, moving her arms and legs in an exaggerated manner.
"And then you started doing this," she continued, sticking her thumb out and poking her body in a funny pose, laughing at her own imitation.
"And then you began hitting the ground," Nie Yu added, mimicking a punch to the ground.
"Mom said you went insane," Nie Yu concluded with an innocent shrug, making Nie Li pause.
As Nie Yu entertained herself with her imitations, Nie Li's gaze turned to the system.

Nie Li stared at the information displayed by the system, hardly believing what he saw.
"I've reached a 1-star Bronze rank Fighter... in just 3 days?!" he marveled, astonishment coloring his voice.
Standing up, he walked over to the nearest tree, curious to test his newfound strength. With a firm grip, he tore out a chunk of the tree as easily as if slicing through air.
The realization hit him like a wave: "Oh, heavens, I truly am a fighter."
A laugh bubbled up from within him, a sound mixed with disbelief and exhilaration. Looking from the system screen up to the sky, Nie Li felt a surge of confidence.
"I can do it... I can save Glory City, I can save everyone!"
