Chapter 2: The King of Bax
Alex didn't neglect to observe the area on the way.
Judging by the color of the hair and eyes of the servants and the soldiers, stationed here and there, he once more concluded that this wasn’t China.
The building they had been in was a tower and stood in the middle of a big castle.
As they entered the main room of the castle, there sat in a find chair at the back of the room was a well aged man. He held himself up as he gave off a heavy aura. His emerald green eyes complemented his silver white hair. He wore a sliver robe fabric akin to silk. He held a well toned body not hidden behind his light armor her wore. He would put supermodels to shame if compared with his looks alone.
Across either side of him stood three people dressed in fine purple robes which covered there entire bodies hiding there sex. As we reached the middle of the great hail we were stopped by the princesses guards as she continued to the mans side before bowing then turning toward us with a gentle smile on her face.
“Greetings heroes I King Dix the III welcome you to the Bax kingdom.
I am sure you must be confused from the abrupt circumstances.
But rest assured, I will properly explain it everything to you now.”
“The is the continent of Silvana and this kingdom of Bax take up 1/3 of the lands not concord by the demons. We have the heaviest influx of humans but are welcome to other races as well. There are five major races that inhabit this world. Humans, Elves, Dwarfs, Beastsmen, and the Demons.
As humans we are the weakest out right but hold greater potential for growth among the other races. We are able to adapted more easy to terrains and if faced with problems we have many more ways to deal with them.
The Elves were blessed by nature and had a great affinity with the way of the bow and spiritual magics. This coupled with there longevity makes them fearsome foe but and also a great ally. The weakest lies in there lack of reproduction unlike the other races.
The Dwarfs are standard short and stout, grumpy but loyal, love digging, and tough as dragon hide. They can be found north in the mountains training there art in forging and mining for materials. We are on friendly turn worth them and even have a few in town selling there wears.
The last race and what brings us to you is the Demon race. There destructive power is eminence and they seldom dabble with mortals or other races. That was until five years ago when they a large mass of monster lead by the Demon King attacked the nation of Avara wiping it off the map.
Thanks to them the other kingdom along with mine were able to mount retaliation. This was all for not, there power was to strong for the alliance to stand. We have fought for five long year and in our struggles we found a ritual to summon the champions of the goddess to add us.
With one final hope the races pulled there power and built the tower described in the notes and proceeded with the ritual. Everything changed when the demons attack but with your add and the goddess blessing we hope to bring about a new age of hope.”
As the king finished his explanation he stood up from his chair as his gaze fell upon us. Alex felt a strong pressure coming from the king, not one of pride but of a man with convention to protect.
“Now heroes of the other world you have heard our stories and understand why we summoned you. Now I ask will you stand by our side in our time of need. Will you steel your heart and fight for countless lives of this realm. What say you!”
The chamber grew silent as the tension in the room rose with every breath. Alex gazed upon the king with a new found respect of this man. Though the summoning was against there will this king had fought a enemy that would normally kill him and did not step back in order to protect his people.
His character was much better than those vain nobles of his world that would flee and leave his people to the mercy of murderous. Alex could only feel ashamed thinking of all the time he was abused and did nothing. Wasn't it better to live free then to be a slave to monsters that destroyed all that you knew. As he was in deep contemplation Gim who was behind the teacher walked forward.
“I see. So you brought us here to protect the ‘Humans’ from ‘Demons’.”(Gim)
The princess took a step forward gain there attention. “Yes. According to the documents. The amount summoned were less than ten humans, but it the mass influence of heroes could only be the goddess blessing use for victory.” (Princess)
“Before we agree to anything I must ask is there a way for us to return home?”(Gim)
“Th- The documents speak of the Demon Lord knowing a magic to send you home.”(Princesses)

The princesses words resounded around the room. Seeing that, Alex quietly shut his eyes.
“S- So we just have to defeat the Demon Lord quickly!”(Classmate)
What an idiot, Alex thought. If the Demon king knew such magic how could heroes be summoned not be cast back to there world by him? Alex was disgusted at that thoughtless statement.
“In- Indeed. Besides, our country is wonderful, so you will surely come to like it. You are all basically part of my family now.”(Princesses)
“Speaking of what about our families and friends in the other world, wouldn't they notice our absents?”
“Ah, y- yes! As a matter of fact, you all have been forgotten now!”(Princess)
“W-What, did you say!?”(Classmates)

Alex definitely felt that from their attitude.
(Everything they said is surely a lie. Likely just a made-up reason to somehow convince us. A return magic, in other words a method to send us back… doesn’t exist. )
After hearing that most of the students face showed signs of relief. Only the teachers face and Gim showed any signs of doubt but she didn't speak up about it. One of the cloaked figures to the left side of the king stepped towards us.
“Alright heroes, I assume you have your answer about helping us?”(Cloaked Figrut)
“Yes,we will add you.”(Gim)
“Excellent, Now you heroes we must test your talent, then you will be given the rest of the day to rest. Sir Kain please take our young heroes to the alter.”
“As you wish your majesty, please follow me.”
They were lead to a room with a altar at the front of it. There at the head were the six purple robes people that were behind his majesty. Each one of them had a crystal orb in front nest and behind them were six pillars with images of depicting a women.
They were ordered into six separate line and took the test one at a time. The test consisted of them placing their hands on the orb as the wizards recited something he couldn't understand. After they finished there incantation a flash of light would happen and the students would be given a orb then told to follow its instruction before giving it back.
When Alex's turn came he could only feel nervous as the memory of states he saw before he entered the chamber said. He approached the robe figure and placed his hand over the orb as the light flashed I could feel a warm secession enter my whole body but then quickly left with only a faint hint of its power felt in my body.

As the spell faded he felt that my head grew a little clearer but not by much. He was instructed to cast the spell Analysis on himself by Sir Kain as he showed a impatient face. He slowly closed his eye and will the skill into action.
