Chapter 2 - Hunting

Shin looked at the goblin for the last time and slowly rose to his feet.He felt better,like a part of his soul had been released.His killing experience,that was what had been released.After all this was his first yet not first kill.

“Is this going against my destiny…?”Shin grinned,previously he had taken two days to kill the first monster,that was considered pretty fast.But was killing a monster so quickly defying the gods?

Then something shining fell,softly into his arms.It was a cloak,a black cloak.”?”Shin raised an eyebrow.But then he smiled.If one looked carefully he would find a small amount of mana was surrounding the cloak

“Is this my reward?”Shin grinned,it wasn’t the gods,but rather SATAN.He smirked and looked at the sky,silently thanking him.He then wore the cloak,covering his entire body,even the head.He then walked and walked,yet nothing dared to block his way.

It wasn’t that they couldn’t,but they didn’t want to.They could see his eyes.His damn eyes which contains tens of years of killing experience,and the monsters were scared of that,very very scared.

But would Shin wait for them to come out?Nope,not at all.He quickly ran towards a big goblin and swung his sword straight on it,piercing it’s head,Unfortunately for the goblin,the wound wasn’t deep thus it still was alive,it cried in pain and he ended it with another swing of his sword,completely killing it.

The goblin could only regret not running when it could!”Tch,eight more to kill.”Shin said,he had defied fate,thus a new destiny had opened to him.But Shin didn’t believe in destiny,he only believed in luck.

“Let’s hurry!”He heard a shout,raising his curiousity.”What was happening?”He asked himself,he looked at the location of the voice,he saw Ginsuke and a few other people,around ten.They were being chased by two Mutant Dogs.

Mutant Dogs were slimy dogs,with eyes out of their place and more powerful limbs,a human couldn’t fight them easily.Shin grinned.They were perfect.He raised his sword and waited for the best chance to strike.

The ten men slowly passed him,and then he decided to act,he jumped out of the bushes and immediately thrust the sword forward,piercing the Mutant Dog’s head,immediately killing them,their head was their weakness.

Shin didn’t wait for the men to stop and quickly took the dogs and left.He slowly entered a hidden place and started to cut the dogs.The only good place of the dogs was the blood,they could enchant his powers.He took a nice 2L of blood and drank it in one go.

He immediately felt the effects of the blood.”With this even Water Spiders won’t be a match for me.”Shin thought loudly.He punched a rock,the size of him,almost and it was crushed,though not destroyed.

It was a skill,but unfortunately he couldn’t use that any longer,he didn’t have the skill itself.He sat cross-legged.He wanted to calm his body and train his Qi or also called Energy or Life Force.

He couldn’t use Mana,he needed a skill to do that,but he didn’t have one,he couldn’t.He needed to be part of one of the two sides,there was the Neutral Side,but they were weak,a simple commander would be enough to crush it to smitterns.

After two hours of doing the same process,he managed to absorb a bit of Qi,it wasn’t easy,it never was.The process of absorbing Qi was extremely hard,as they had no Dantian or Qi Meridians,even in Earth few had done that.

But Shin was an Elite Swordsman in his previous life,actually he had gone beyond that.He needed a lot of Qi to use most of his skills,otherwise he couldn’t.At that time he had a hard time,but he slowly rose in fame.

And because of his great sense of hearing,he could sense the slightest move.And he heard one just now,’Enemy?”He thought and slowly got up,unsheathing his sword,and hided in the shadows…

Then a figure appeared,Ginsuke.”What do you want?”Shin muttered and asked,”Calm down dude!”He said,”Calm down?Oi,oi?Do you know where we are?WE ARE IN A GOD FORSAKEN OTHER WORLD!”Shin shouted,trying to sound desperate.

“Okay,let’s calm down and think easily.”Ginsuke asked and Shin slowly calmed down,he wanted to look as weak as possible.”I came here,to ask you,can you give us a bit food?I saw you killing the dogs?”He asked,Shin sighed.

He had been too careless,he didn’t notice them stopping.”Food?What can you give me in exchange?”He asked Ginsuke who said,”Material,Wood and two Wooden Swords.”Wooden swords,they were weapons.

They could be selled for a nice amount of silver coins,but for Shin they were worthless.He was alone,why did he need weapons?”Nope,deal is off.”He said and entered the cave yet again,”Wait!”Ginsuke shouted desperately,”Don’t make us attack you!”He added,incurring Shin’s wrath.Attack?Him?

Shin didn’t wait and the unsheathed sword  attacked Ginsuke who barely dodged.”Disappear from my sight.”He said calmly,but in Ginsuke’s eyes,he looked like a dangerous beast,capable of killing all of them easily.

He gulped and said,”Okay,take it easy.”And slowly disappeared from Shin’s sight.He then sneered,”Do they think you can just say,attack in one’s face so easily?Do they think it is so easy?!”He was furious.

Attacking somebody wasn’t uncommon,but to say that in one’s face,one against one,it was simply slapping him in the face.Who did he think he was?Shin could easily kill all of them and not give a shit about it!

“Well at least I stole their bag of coins.”Naruto grinned and looked at his palm,he had stolen.He stole their bag,or his to be exact.It was small but it held a considerable amount of things,but it was very hard to take it unnoticed.

He changed their bags,he put rocks in his to not make him suspicious,by the time he knew what happened,Shin would long be away from the cave.He took his stuff and left the cave as fast as he could,at least five times faster than any average man.

But then he stopped,he could feel the intense sight of a wild beast,a king.”The White Tiger King…”Shin muttered and moved a step behind.The White Tiger King was the boss,in a way.He was unbeatable by anybody,at least nobody had killed it in the beginning.

He stopped and headed another way,he couldn’t beat the White Tiger King,at least not for now,he was way too weak.

He ran and ran for hours,and stopped in a huge cave,it was a cave known as,”The Force Of Hell.”That was one of the few places one could be registered as part of the Hell Powers before the start of the game itself,but it didn’t matter.

Shin’s objective was the reward,the Shadow Crystal Sword.In terms of power it was ranked C.Weapons were ranked:G,F,E,D,C,B,A,S and finally the SS rank.

Only Satan and God had SSS rank weapons,but they transcended the limits and were called Holy or Cursed.Shin previously had a B Rank Weapon as side weapon and A rank weapon as the main weapon.

He sighed,”Getting a C Rank weapon so easily at the beginning…”But it wasn’t actually ‘Easy’.He had to fight powerful monsters like,”Orc’s” or “Hobgoblins” to get it,and it certainly wasn’t easy,that he knew.He took a step forward,and a message appeared

Shin smiled and touched Yes,and the message disappeared.Suddenly a red mark appeared on top of his head,saying,Hell.”Hide.”Shin muttered and the hell red mark disappeared,as if it was never there from the beginning.

He then slowly entered the cave as a message appeared

Shin touched Yes and entered the dungeon.It was big and a river flowed.”Then that means that Water Monsters exist here.”Shin arrived to this conclusion.He nodded and unsheathed his sword,his cloak easily defending against the sheath clashing with it.

He then took a huge breath and walked forward.He immediately saw a monster,a hobgoblin.It was a bigger goblin,green and at least two meters with hair in their heads.Their eyes were white,like goblins

It wore a black iron armor,a bit weaker than iron.It’s only exposed spots were the head and limbs,which could be easily severed with Shin’s enchanted steel sword(Changed it to enchanted from reinforced).

Shin looked at the hobgoblin seriously.He waited for it to do the first move,and it did.It unsheathed it’s rusted black sword and swung it towards Shin who evaded it right and swung his own sword vertically,and cut one of it’s arms,earning a huge cry of pain.

The hobgoblin was desperate and tried to punch Shin,who dodged and pulled the sword out of it’s flesh,earning a bigger cry.”Time to finish this,baby.”Shin grinned and brought the sword down,cutting the hobgoblin’s head and legs,it was dead.Shin moved and rolled the corpse,he looted it.

The hobgoblin ended up naked,it was so humiliating,unfortunately the Hobgoblin was dead,thus Shin couldn’t enjoy it(Not in a bad way).”Well time to end this.”He took out a bottle of water and drank it.He then made a burying place for the hobgoblin,”Rest in peace,little fellow.”He said and prayed for it to go to hell(Lol).

“Well let’s continue,hobgoblins are only the beginning.”He muttered slowly...
