“Here’s your sinful souls. I’m done for today.” Said the woman talking to God while turning the bones of her scythe in a peculiar way. When she fished this, a bunch of spirits flew away, screaming at her when they saw her.
“My children! There is no need to show hostility to my companion. All that matters is that you’re here in Heaven with me.” God said with a smile and open arms.
“Alright, good night.” Said the woman walking away.
“Wait! Diana, I-“ God was saying then was interrupted.
“I told you. Do. Not. Call. Me. Diana!” She said holding the scythe up to God’s neck.
“Then what should I call you?” God said backing away from the scythe.
“Just don’t call me anything. You hear me?” She said retracting her scythe.
“Fine. I’ll just snap to tell you I need you.”
“Fine. Now leave me alone and let me go home.” She said walking away again.
God snapped, “Goodbye. See you tomorrow!” He said having a smile that didn’t seem normal. “Hey son,” said God turning around when the woman was out of hearing reach, “can you escort her back home?”
“Sure.” Said a teen in a white suit, luscious wings, and halo.
The teen floated his way towards the woman and just silently floated behind her until she noticed him.
“What the hell do you want kid?” She said turning around holding her scythe, ready to strike.
“God told me to escort you home. Also, how did you hear me?” He said with a slightly mischievous look.
“I can hear people scream from over a hundred miles away. I can hear the sounds of grass in a breeze. I can hear ice form-“ She was interrupted
“Okay, I’m sorry.” He said holding up his hands telling her to stop. “You can hear ridiculously quiet sounds. I didn’t want to know how good your ears are. Actually, are normal sounds really loud for you?”
“No. I can choose how well I can hear.” She said turning around.
“Okay. Well… Where do you live? Again, I was told to escort you home.” He said kind of tired.
“Just follow me kid.” She said aggressively
“I have a name you know. It’s Peace.” Adam said offended by being called kid.
“I don’t care. I’m calling you kid because ‘Peace’ for a name sounds weird. Make a left here.” She said pointing down the street.
“I should probably take off my wings and halo, shouldn’t I?”
“Yes, you should. Now shut up before we’re seen.”
“You know we’re still in Heaven, right?”
“Yes. Clearly. When you go back to your dad, oh I mean ‘God,’ ask him why he makes Heaven look like Earth.”
“He does that to make Heaven look like the places where the Souls lived so they are at home while in Heaven.”
“Sure.” She said in a tone that told Peace she didn’t believe him.
“I really don’t want to, but I have to. Just so you get home faster, just hold still.” Peace said this and stopped moving. The woman didn’t, but that didn’t matter. Peace reached out his hands and a glyph surrounded the woman making her stop moving.
“This will be just a minute.” He said and a second glyph appeared under the woman. He closed his eyes by the sound of her screams of pain, and when he opened them again, the woman was nowhere in sight.
“Good. She should be at home… Wherever that is.” He turned around, stuck his hand in front of him, he had it palm out, clenched a fist, rotated it, then pulled his fist in and let his hand go back to normal. Peace turned around and saw that the glyph was gone.
A sudden thud came from outside.
“What the hell?” Said a man walking towards the window to see what happened. He saw a figure lying down as if dead. He ran outside to see who it was.
“Hey! Are you okay?” He said running towards the figure.
“Are you okay?” He said again.
He made it to the figure and said, “Honey? A-are you okay?” He lifted her head up.
She coughed.
“Oh, thank god!” He sighed in relief.
“Honey? What happened to me?” She said coughing and in pain.
“I just heard a heavy thud and here you are.”
“Huh…” she groaned, “what happened earlier?” she said raising her hand to rub her head, but she was in too much pain.
“Don’t look at me for an answer, I don’t even know what happened.” He lifted her up. “Let’s get you comfy and healed.” He walked inside carrying the woman. He laid her down on a couch and went in the kitchen to get some tea brewing and to get medicine.

“Here, this should make you feel better within the hour.” He gave her a pill and some water.
“Thanks, sweety.” She groaned and swallowed the pill.
“It will make you very tired, so I’ll be close while you sleep. But, when you wake, you should fell much better and remember everything.” The man said holding the woman’s hand. About thirty minutes pass with the man staying next to his sleeping wife when he heard a cough.
“Are you okay?” He said with a smile.
“Yeah.” She said waking up and trying to keep her eyes open.
“What happened while you were away?” The man said.
“First, what did you give me? Second, I went the souls that God asked for, and his son Peace had frozen me and somehow teleported. Pretty damn painfully, here.” She said with a slight look of revenge in her eyes.
“Well you’re back, that’s all that matters. You go on and relax, especially after what happened, I’ll make you some food, and what would you like to do after that?” He was saying as he lifted his wife to be in a more comfortable position.
“Can I have a glass of water and for the food, can you make me some pork chops? The way I like it if you wouldn’t mind.” She was smiling and was getting into an even more comfy position while turning on the TV.
“Sure. And what would you like to do afterwards?” He said pausing in the doorway to the kitchen.
“Can we all watch a couple episodes of Hell on Earth?”
“Sure.”
“Thank you!”
The man smiled, nodded, and turned around to cook the pork chops.
After eating and feeding, the man went to a room with a pentagram in it. He called someone.
“Hey you doing something?” He asked being answered by a voice from the other side.
“Uh… No?” Said the voice.
“Is it important?”
“Not really. I’m just playing Angel Slayer.
“Good. I’m summoning you.” He said and ended the call.
“Wait what?”
The man waved his hands in a circular motion, causing them to cross, and he clenched his hands then locked them. A light came from the pentagram, and it looked like blood was rising from it, reaching the ceiling. A figure began to emerge. A couple seconds go by and the room seemed to be covered in blood, hiding the figure. A thud came and the blood fell, then crawled into the pentagram. The man put his hands back in his pockets.
“What the hell dad!” Said a boy that seemed to be fourteen, he had long, blonde hair, and dark clothes.
“Your mother wants you and your sister to watch Hell on Earth.”
“Not that lame ass show. Also, is Despair even old enough to watch it?”
“You watched it when you were her age. It’s time for her to join us. We will restart the show so Despair can see all of it. And finally, you will spend time with us.” The man said with a stern look.
“Fine.” The boy said while walking out the door, but was blocked by his dad.
“What do you even have against that show?” He said putting his hand on his son’s shoulder to stop him.
“It’s just,” he sighed, “I was supposed to be David in that.”
“David? The one who kills the main giant, but another came and snapped him in half?”
“Yeah.”
“He was in two episodes. Why would you want to be someone who was in two episodes of a series that’s now over a thousand episodes?”
“Because I just wanted to play someone in something in my life.”
“Well, if it helps you. I can go take the acter’s soul and you can torment it. If you want. And no overwhelming torture.”
“Okay.” He said rolling his eyes.
“Good man, now go be with your mother while I get Despair.”
“Okay.” He walked out of the room to go join his mother.
The man called his daughter, “Are you doing anything that’s important?”
“Well… I’m not being dead if that’s what you’re asking. I’m currently just playing Last Tale V.”
“Well you will now be summoned.” He ended the call and did the same hand motion to activate the summoning.
A girl appeared behind the blood. She had short, blonde hair, a shirt that had blood on it, and looked like she just murdered someone.
“Hello Despair.”
“Sup dad.”
“What’s with all the blood?”
“Well you see, my name’s Despair, so I make people despaired.”
“I know what your name is and what you do. Just way does it look like you murdered someone?”
“Well I made someone shoot themself in the head.”
“Did mom tell you to?”
She rubbed her shoulder, “No… But I-“
“You don’t get to kill unless told to.”
“Okay dad.” She looked away.
“Now go sit with your mother. We’re going to watch Hell on Earth.”
“Really! I can watch that now?” She was very excited, almost bouncing off of the walls.
“Yep. Now, go sit down and I’ll get the popcorn.”
“Okay!” She ran out of the room and almost jumped onto her mother.
“Woah there! Please be careful, I fell out of the sky and almost died.”
“What happened?”
“Work. God’s son did it.”
“Which one?”
“Peace.”
“That’s it! I’m going to go teach him a lesson!” Despair got off the couch and began marching to the pentagram.
“What are you doing Despair?” Said her brother looking up from his phone seeing her marching away.
“It’s none of your concern War!” She kept marching to the pentagram.
“Hm. No. It’s none of my concern, but you are. I can’t let you go out killing people. Especially Peace.”
“Why can’t I kill him?”
“Because if you do, God would come and kill us all. For good.” War said sternly.
“Fine.” She was angry, but she cooperated and went back to the living room to watch Hell on Earth.
“Where did you go sweety?” Said Despair’s mother looking confused but loving.
“I was going to…” she paused in embarrassment, “Kill, or at minimum, beat Peace’s ass for what he did to you.” She rubbed her shoulder and looked away.
“Awe. Well, I can manage myself, but thank you for caring for me.” She said with a big smile.
“You’re welcome.” Despair stopped rubbing her arm and went to cuddle with her mom.
“Now, we’re about to watch Hell on Earth. This isn’t really that appropriate for kids your age, but you’ve played Last Tale V, so, you should be fine.” She held Despair close and kissed her forehead.
“Do I get bragging rights to my friends?” She said with a very hopeful face.
“Not really, if you do, then they would probably think that your dad and I are very bad parents. And I kind of want that to not happen. But how about this, when you’re eleven, then you can brag about it. Deal?” She held out her hand ready for a handshake.
“Deal.” Despair shook her mom’s hand and got in a comfortable position.
“Where’s War? And your dad?”
“Dad is making popcorn and War is being a sulking teenager underneath the archway.”
“Huh.” She looked up towards the hallway to the kitchen and the Pentagram. “War! Come here!”
War put his phone in his pocket and walked toward the living room. “What?”
“You know.” She said with a disappointed look in her eyes.
“Yeah, yeah, yeah. We’re going to watch Hell on Earth, I know.”
“Come here.” She scooched Despair over and moved to the middle. She patted the now open part of the couch.
War sighed, but went over. He leaned away from his mother, not wanting to there.
His mother wrapped her arm around War and pulled him in. He eventually gave in and relaxed.
The man walked into the living room and handed a big bowl of popcorn to everyone.
“Dad?” Said War confused.
“Yeas son?” He said not excited for this talk and just wanted to watch the show.
“Why are you giving us big bowls of popcorn? It makes it look like we’re going to binge a bunch of episodes.”
“Well… That is because… We are. We are watching all of season one.” He said with a smirk.
“You lied to me! You just said that we were going to watch a couple episodes!” War said furious.
“Yes. I clearly lied. Actually,” he made a fist and put it under his chin, “I’m pretty sure that I just wasn’t clear enough. Yes, I did say a couple episodes, that can mean from two to any number. Now, you can’t say that to your mother or I, it won’t work or do you any good.”
War looked away unimpressed.
“Come on hon, we can’t have War be sulking while we watch. Plus, we also need to be quiet and happy for Despair.”
“You’re right as always hon. I’ll go start the first episode.” He stood up to get the remotes, but turned around to look at Despair, “This show is violent, sometimes very, so, just wanted to warn you.”
“Okay dad.” Despair rolled her eyes.
