Hi everyone,

I’d just like to leave final parting words as this journey has ended.

I didn’t know that I’d embark on this journey. This originally started from a wattpad novella contest with the prompt:

”Can we go back to the start when we were all strangers in the dark?”

I thought this was only gonna be 60 pages tops.

Turned out to be my first fantasy project. Three books, 1600 pages, and 18 months.

And in truth, it was a project I just wrote because I had a lot to get off my chest. Scarecrows aren’t even my jam. I just thought it was a cute idea.

Then I kept at it because scarecrows make my wife emotional. So I was like wow, this is really good energy, guess I have to finish this shit now.

So here we are.

A full web serial, strange as hell, but I’ve made it.

And I’m happy that you guys have kept on reading this.

As for the future of this story and my writing:

— I’ll update this with drawings. I just didn’t have time when I had to raw draft this unexpected story

— I’ll probably edit and pare down battles, just for posterity.

— No stub or anything like that incoming, so no worries there

— I have no web serials planned. I’m a short story writer at heart, and have more fairy tales posted on this site. I will be doing a web serial again, though, with far lighter content. Just wholesome shit because that’s just fun for me. And it’ll be planned out way more than me winging it from a contest LOL
