Everything is dark. There is no source of light anywhere seen, and there seems to be no signs of life. Just a normal cave with a vast amount of beautiful crystals and exotic plants that were never seen before. Deeper in the crate, no one has ever gone to explore because it has been said through rumors of nearby villagers that the crate’s well was accursed. A light. There was a light signaling something awakening coming out of nowhere; as the trembling was rising and rising, the noises stopped and from the hole it was visible. It was what seemed to be a combat droid from the 2000 year old Ancient War. Any sort of movement could mean disassemblement because of how rusty the droid was but out of sheer power, it exited the depths of the cave and emerged to the beautiful side of the cave where all the crystals and plants were located. The droid then tries to do something of a restart to its operating system but it seems to be unsuccessful due to a vital component being missing. The droid moves on in the vast cave where he finds later than the exit. It was the most beautiful sight anyone could ever experience; the main question is how could a ground combat droid reach up a canyon that high. A lot of questions and very few answers but it wasn’t big of a deal for the android. As he steps down from the cave entrance, he tries to find a way to reach down the canyon without worsening his injuries; he tries rolling, sliding, running but nothing seems to work. The android makes some sad beeping noises relatively loudly which cause a commotion to the animals around the area. The android in his head thought that making that loud noise would be able to attract someone.
A few months pass, and no one still has come. The droid wanted to explore the world and find out what happened to himself and the war that he recalls fighting him. He was wondering about the future he could and couldn't expect. This is when he heard a sudden noise. It seemed to be a young girl, maybe aged around 13 or 14, who’s original purpose was to find some edible plants and crystals for her parent’s shop. The young girl was flabbergasted into finding this gigantic android in front of the cave entrance. Then she starts to try to communicate with the droid.
“Out of all the years that I’ve lived, I have never seen something as cool as you! Please tell me this isn’t a dream… Holy shit! I have to bring you back with me, there isn't anything else I can do!”
The Android anxiously looks at the girl and takes a few steps away before she apologizes and formally introduces herself. With the android feeling less secure than before, the young girl reveals she can speak a droid language from 2000 years ago called Dalangonian, which the android did understand.
“Now I’m sorry for all the commotion, I didn’t mean to scare you or make you feel uncomfortable. I’m sure you understand me now that I’m speaking your language so please tell me… What is your name?! What color originally were you?! Do you have a manufacturing number?! Oh my god this is so nuts!”
With the android being bombrated to questions, he kind of feels nauseous so he tries to answer the questions one by one, but when he tries to speak, he notices that his robotic vocal cords were damaged to the point of no replacement. The girl notices that she offers the robot to bring her to the shop where she lives in since the shop essentially deals with engineering of droids but more modern ones. The girl introduces herself as Nazu and names the android Nemu as nameless. The droid is fine with being named and everything, but mostly wonders how they’re going to get down to the canyon.

Nazu indicates,
“Oh I didn’t tell you but I have a Flying Manta as a pet, Hop on!”
Nemu, shocked, rides on with Nazu, the innocent looking girl just searching for some resources, to explore more of the world that has been forgotten due to this abnormal dementia caused by the 2000 year old conflict.
“And now…Here we come, Retroville!”
After a few hours pass, the wandering droid looks around his surroundings as he is flying on top of this manta, trying to visualize any way to regain his past memories but there is no luck. The landscape seen is filled with immense craters which supposedly come from immense cluster bombs that are rained on once a millenia according to Nazu. After hearing this information, Nemu starts making theories about how his memory was corrupted and just comes up with the hypothesis that the files were corrupted towards the end of the war due to does cluster bomb rains Nazu was talking about earlier.
Then Nazu reassures Nemu,
“C’mon, don’t keep up a long face, even though you’re a droid, you are different from all the ones that i met… it feels like you experience mentions or something. Like if you had a heart!”
The android thinks deeply after hearing this and starts philosophically thinking what does it mean to have a human heart, but before he could think further and undergo a thinking session, they arrive in Retroville, the city of engineering and technology. As Nemu was walking, he felt as if a bunch of people were gazing at him, feeling rather disturbed by his presence because of his unnatural size and rustyness. Nazu always tried reassuring Nemu, telling him that they were looking at him like that because he was more special than everyone else. As Nemu and Nazu are walking, Nazu explains that to get over to their shop, they need to get over the tavern right on their left, but as they were going on they bump into what seemed to be some drunk delinquents from the tavern.
“Hey! Where do you think you’re going you little brat! You really thought you would bump into me without any consequences?!”
Says the leader of the drunken delinquents.
“We already apologized for bumping can we please just go, we aren’t trying to look for any trouble”
Says Nazu trying to be as reasonable as she can.
“Eh!? You think you can really put an attitude against me? Don’t you know what happens if you try to mess with Retroville’s most dangerous gang?! You get your stupid bots dismanteled!”
Says the leader delinquent as he laughs with the rest of the small gang.
As the situation gets worse and worse, Nemu is simply trying to look for a way to leave the dispute since he doesn’t like attracting attention. As Nazu tries to avoid the deliquents more and more, they become more persistent in trying to disassemble Nemu and beating up Nazu.
“Alright that's it. The game is over.”
Says the delinquent.
Afterwards, the delinquent tries reaching out for Nazu’s arm in an attempt to beat her up but soon after Nemu comes back from his thinking sense and steps in the way. By stepping in the way, the delinquent gives a direct hook to Nemu’s fragile head which makes him collapse to the ground to the point of no awakening, but something is happening. Nemu is awake in his subconscious and just remembered a few words before the amnesia of the 2000 year war.
“Seek your own future, seek what you think is true within your heart. You aren’t a normal droid, you have the heart of a human! Ha-”
Says a mysterious voice in Nemu’s head.
Where could this voice come from is unknown but as of this moment what is most important for Nemu is trying to wake to help Nazu as fast as possible, it’s only a matter of time, how fast can he wake up.
