Year 1914. November 13th.
The first-ever great war of humanity was under way, with barely four months having elapsed since tensions flared.
Its participants were all of the greatest, largest and most influential nations of the age. They included nations such Russia, Italia, Japan, England, France, Serbia and Romania.
To this day, over a million have already been saline through bombs and arms that have redefined warfare. And it has only been a few months into the state of war.
The powers fielded armies in their tens of millions, on several war fronts. And new arms in the tens of varieties.
The scenes after the fields of war, were like a scene out of Armageddon fantasy.
Because of the devastation and aftermath, people have already call this the ‘War to End All Wars’, others have simply called it the ‘Great War’.
Bards & Survivors, told tales of horror and disaster that were etched into the earthen grounds.
However…
Little did anyone expect that the turbulent and horrendous situation of the worlds, was in for another big shake-up.
It was on this very day, the world took a turn for the absolute worst.
For the most unexpected, came knocking on the door to our meagre human world.
----------------------------------------
It was at the first light of dawn that the first signs of change appeared.
A mysterious array of lights appeared across the skies of the world. Soldiers that were on night guard, and the ones waking up most recently, were startled in surprise to the event. Some of the soldier went to call for their superiors due to the unknown anomaly.
An hour past the first reported sightings of the mysterious lights, all of the armies and civilians were awake. They were left helplessly gazing at the mystery infront of them.
Gossips and speculation ran across, as each conjectured some form a reason to the anomaly of lights in the sky.

‘Man fears what he does not know and does not control’. This was a famous old saying.
With each passing moment, the hubbub grew. People grew restless as a sense of anxiety set root in their hearts.
Just as flash arguments among people started to flare up, the lights abruptly vanish without any trace.
Another shock followed soon after.
A shaking of the earth came. It was like earth-shattering eruptions happened in their droves, simultaneously.
It started with the jolt, that turned to shaking as if in a mixing machine. It further escalated into wobbling and waving. The ground went from hard to almost liquid soft.
For those that lived near the great volcanoes, they felt as though an eruption was nigh.
For those near the shore or places that lacked the norm of an eruption, it was a matter beyond their comprehension.
Buildings started to crack and crumble as the shaking grew. By the time the ground grew soft, everything had already started to fall to ruin.
Explosions rang out as everything started to collapse.
People ran and screamed in fear. It mattered not who was next to them, each cared only for themselves as they sought out a form of shelter.
Little did anyone truly realise, the scope of the hopelessness. For the calamity was not grounded in one area.
From cities to town to villages and into the great wilderness. It occurred in every corner, nook and cranny of the world.
As matters grew ever worse, many religious devotees came to realise this as the ‘End of Days’. For the world was truly, about to change forever.
The only ones that could it wee it, were those that had avoided the first-hand experience. They were those few who had already taken to the skies in pursuit of the mysterious lights.
Theses few, lucky souls, watched down from the skies aghast, as they saw the world literally change before their very eyes.
Mountains crumbled, plains ruptured, seas split. These are all descriptions one would use in tales of wonder and fantasy. And yet, this is what they witness from high in the sky.
The shape of the world they had known was changing.
Some, witness towns and villages in the horizon vanish into the earth as they were swallowed.
Others, witness the rising of new mountains from the depth of the seas and into the clouds.
And few more, witnessed the end of their home, as the nations morphed into the unknown, right in front of them.

November 16th, 1914.
It was recorded as the day after the end of the old world.
…
Nothing had survived the change unscathed.
Most of the world, had been vanquished by the disaster.
…
This disaster continued for 3 days and 3 nights.
…
Pleas, screams and willows echoed on the first.
…
Sniffing and crying echoed on the second.
…
Silence reigned on the third.
…
Peace and tranquillity returned to the world after three days of horrors and wailing.
By this time, hope and the human spirit had all but been extinguished. Few had the resolve to stand-up again after the horrendous and most calamitous of days.
Many still felt the world had gone black, refusing to believe the reality infront of them.
