Haunting Shadows

“You Have Been Summoned “Said a deep voice that echoed around implying that I am in the middle of a great hall.

I panicked and started looking around me. I started to question whether I made it or not but a chill sensation ran through my bones and my shaking body was a definite confirmation that I did.

looking around I was scared but also determined. I said to myself “I will definitely reach my goal I won’t give up till then “

I held the light sphere,I throw it in the air and in an instant it exploded with light, and I started to feel warmth .but the light did not show the whole place. It was morphed, reshaped and instead of filling the entire place, it was shaped into a sphere that could barely cover me. Something was manipulation light. I felt heavy so gravity has also been altered too.

“How can anything survive in this, light doesn’t work here like it is supposed to do and so neither gravity “I Felt even sadder, my eyes shined and I started running. I knew I have limited time so I cannot waste a moment.

The light sphere could barely show me where I am stepping. I can see a distant light, I felt a presence there, and suddenly the light sphere turned Yellow. I could hear something moving towards me. It was lighter than human steps.

The sphere started to glow, I held my left hand ready for what is coming. The sphere shifted light to red and before it showed me where the attack is coming from, I heard a scream. Time stopped while my eyes glazed a creature that appeared in front of me , it’s eyes was fiery and it has two swords going to pierce my neck and although time stopped my heart was pounding out of control. I was lucky that I activated my left hand and stopped time I looked at that creature in horror, it was a woman with short red hair, Red leather cloth and her bloodthirst was so great that it manifested like a red glow oozing upwards from her body

I asked “What are you?” it was frozen so I did not expect any answer but her head suddenly turned to me and a red shadow appeared where she was trapped.

The light sphere glowed behind me so I turned to find her pointing her sword towards me and before it struck me I raised my right hand turning the sphere into a miniature sun which caused the creature to scream in agony and it was being pulled up to the sphere while being exposed to great temperatures, her cloth started to light on fire.

I looked up to see that creature still screaming in agony but I need my full power to see everything so I summoned the sphere back , I combined my hands together and a golden sphere shaped around me covering my body with a golden light and the whole place started to turn visible .

I was shocked since the light started revealing the place. I saw 3 of what looks like humans one with a bow and another that had a sword shining with electricity and a third human with a flying disk hovering over him. There was another creature that was made of ice and was holding a boulder while looking at me with vicious eyes.

I started looking around me since I heard a voice that called to me. My body started shivering and my eyes started to cry, I could not control it.That sound made my heart pounds not with sadness but with something else. I cried in happiness “Baby can you hear my sound? “ and I heard her sound much more clear this time  “ Yes”  . A shiver crawled all over my body while I searched the darkness for the source of the sound and finally I saw her.

I immediately ran to her and screamed while crying “ Dekker is that really you? “

She collapsed once she saw me, she started crying while saying “Angelica I can’t believe you found me, I missed you so much “. She was trapped in what looks like a glass box I asked dekker to step away while I blast the box but she shouted “ please don’t , any damage you will inflict to the box will reflect on me “ I was full of anger that I made it this far and I can’t touch her . She looked at me and asked “how did you come here? “  I replied “I tricked the entity that controls this place and replaced another human that was supposed to be summoned here, I can escape but I will not do that without you “. I wanted her to stop crying so I took a Holovid of her discovering an ancient tomb she wiped her tears and smiled.

She looked at me with amazement and said “ So you did reach the center of that tomb we discover “ I replied “ yes, and I can’t wait to show it to you , it gave me these amazing powers “ but once I said that her eyes sunk into darkness , she said with a desperate voice “ some people here like it but we Are being destroyed and revived over and over again  , that entity is trapping me in this vicious cycle keeps me in this place and I can not get out “.

Her body suddenly started to shine blue and she started to disappear in this light while crying and before she fully disappears she said “I love you angelica, escape with your life “.

“Prepare for Battle “

That sound was the same as before, I fell on my knees crying uncontrollably. I missed her so much and I felt like I will never be able to save her. I heard two creatures approaching from far one of them was the woman from before and another creature. It had a lot of muscles, two axes in its hands, its eyes was shining with bloody red rage and what looks like a white entity was hovering behind it. That white entity injected energy into the creature which launched itself towards me attacking with the woman , that sadness in my heart turned into Anger while I shined more and was raised into the air saying :

“I will never give up on saving her, come at me lesser creatures “
