It has been six days since he had the entire repository downloaded and he was ready to launch his new project. The project combines a few of the current tech that already existed. First was matter to energy. The transportation system works on this principle. Matter is converted into energy then stored in a buffer and then materialized at another location.
At first Harry wanted to create matter directly from energy but that just wasn’t efficient. At his currently level of tech, too much energy was lost in other forms. He had thought about including magic but Harry just didn’t feel like he had the time for that at this time. Right now he knew a lot more about science then magic.
So in the end, he used the buffer the same way as the wraith. One storage drive could hold the mass of haft the city. He could now store all the resources he could ever want. Next was the satellites he had been constructing. 128 of them would surround a planate and create a time dilation field. The time is adjustable but consumes more power.
The plan is simple. Harry will send in some constructors and the satellites along with 1 of the ZPM’s. The field will go up and the constructors will get to work mining. When they have gathered up a certain amount of resources then they will built the equipment to make more ZPM’s. Once those are created and fully charged, they will power the satellite and the one in use will go back to be charged. Then time will be sped up based on the number of ZPM’s and the mining and construction will increase. The process is exponential and the excess material will be sored in the new ME Drives so no material is lost.
Harry will basically mine an entire planet in what estimates to 40 hours local time and 600-800 years dilated time. His glee in getting back many, many fully charged ZPM’s also has him laughing his ass off. Harry had decided to document this event for future viewers like the Alterans did for everything they did. He even constructed a big red button for the event.
With a dramatic click the gate was dialed and everything was set in motion. Other then a bunch of orbs flying through the gate and large swarms following them there was not much else. In the end Harry laughed like an evil overlord but that was mostly staged anyways.
While Harry weighted, he started to scan through the database for weapons tech. sure its in his head now but it helps to sit in the chair. The AI seems to add to his own mental processing abilities. One of the first things he found was an Lagrangian Point satellite. It basically fires a beam weapon that can split 3 hive ships per shot but requires a long time to charge the buffer.
As Harry delve more into the design of the weapon platform the angrier he got. It takes 3-4 minutes to charge if it was given something like the SGC’s Naquadah generator but if it had a ZPM, it could fire indefinitely for over 100 years. The damn thing didn’t even have a shield.

The weapons platform was pretty basic. It had a powerplant, a capacitor to hold a large charge, a chamber for the energy to be dumped into and then the projector. There are also 6 small thrusters to maneuver. Minus the thrusters the whole thing can be compressed into a 10 by 10 by 10 meter block. The Alterans design had it thing as big as a Goa'uld Ha'tak. That’s like 6 sky scrapers combined into one. And guess what? Most of damn thing was art.
At this point, Harry felt glad the Alterans died out. Less of their stupidity to spread around. With just a few design changes the weapon will now be placed all over Atlantis. Six instead of one capacitor and three projectors that fire in sequence so that there’s no overheating. Thirty six all over Atlantis should work. Eighteen on the city haft and eighteen on the drive haft. Its stupid to leave haft of the city undefended like the Alterans had by design.
Harry also started to design overlapping plates cover the entire city when in battle. He thought that it was pretty stupid to have the only thing in between you and the vacuum of death is one energy barrier. One power spike and everyone is dead. One generator for whatever reason dies on you and the whole city is opened to vacuum.
That’s another thing. There’s only one shield. If the shield frequency is too similar, there’s a chance they will merge like a soap bubble but for gods sake. The city runs on a quantum computer. Its easy for the city to regulate the frequency so that it never interferes. He plans to have each petal of the city snowflake have its own generator. In battle, there should be 3 shields up at any given time. if the shield drops below 70%, the second shield takes its place and another petal generates a shield under the third layer, becoming the new third layer. All of this while the shield generator that was diminished spools up to full charge again. This way there is always have 3 shields up at any given time with one backup around the control tower for just in case situations.
All of this will up the cities ZPM count to twenty one. There should have plenty when the mining project ends. He doesn’t have the necessary materials but it can’t hurt to plant the designs for all of these upgrades. Power, that’s another thing that irks Harry. Around the current drives Harry plans to put in solar collectors. The Alterans found a way to store solar power directly a long time ago but never put it into use anywhere other then the Destiny project. That was pretty stupid.
An easy way to get power is to just have drones fly to the closest star. Fill up and fly back. They can then be docked an used as batteries. In fact, that’s one the things Harry decided to do. With the gate ships as a base, the added shields. A smaller beam weapon and the solar collectors. If they go for a recharge at 20% solar matter then none of the weapons that the Wraith have should take one of these down. with some expansion runes and pocket dimensions, a lot more could be done. Harry decided to note that for a newer design when the time came.
