Hi guys, if you guys don't know, I'm from the website Webnovel. Basically, I write 3 novels, this one and 2 others from there. So I'm thinking of creating a Patreon for 2 reasons. One, I think it'll keep me motivated. Every single day when I write a chapter, my mother comes in and demoralizes me saying there's no point and asking me if I don't want to become a writer then stop writing. I'm a recent high school graduate. I have no financial aid for college so I have to live at home meaning I have to stay with her and hear every demoralizing insults in the book. Honestly, I'm close to hitting my breaking point. If I can get even a single dollar, I would feel much more motivated. Two, like I said I'm just entering college so it would be extremely helpful to get even a single dollar more. I'm planning on just making a $1 a month tier so that anyone could have access. I don't think it would be fair to ask for more as I think that I could only write 1 or at most 2 chapters further than what I post here. I plan to do this with all three of my novels. Now here comes the schedule. Now that the Webnovel competition is over, I would have to concentrate on writing all 3 of my novels again. So I decided that when I have $10 a month, I'll write 2 chaps for one novel and 1 chap for the other 2 novels. It'll alternate every week. So basically, I would have to write 3 chaps for one novel (2 for here and 1 for Patreon) and 2 chaps for the other two. I think that if there is monetary gain of doing this, I'll be motivated enough. I know it's disheartening to hear that the author is only doing this for money, but like I said I'm close to hitting my breaking point and I just need that extra push to help me write more. Even if no one wants to donate, it's alright I'll still write. I don't know what to do for the schedule at that point, but I'll still write. Once again thank you for the support. For now, I'm going to concentrate on pushing Wizardry System (the novel I entered for the contest and if you guys want, I'll post it here as well). I'm going to write occasionally for the other two, but for now WS is top priority. I'm sorry guys, but I'll only write occasionally for this novel. By the way, my mom is a good mom. I know I painted her in a bad light, but still she took care of me and she's mostly nice. It's just that she's also very good at psychologically harming someone.
