Haniel TGV – Ch. 1
It’s the first rain of summer and maybe the last, I don’t know.
“Oh! What a life? It’s a good day to live.”
I mumbled as my body feels comfortable as I lay in this lawn and the rain washed up my sweats from my recent exercises.
I’ve been practicing my skills and techniques again for 3 months since my foster father’s death.
It’s been a long time since I felt this body pain due to excessive practicing. I think it’s been 3 years since I last practice like this for consecutive months.
The death of my foster father made me break my inner demons and allow me to step in emperor realm. I think I should move on now.
The 3 months of mourning is over. It’s time to move on and make a plan for myself.
I am 21 years old now, maybe it’s time for me to get some wives. But before that I should organize the territory that I inherited. It would be a waste if something unexpected happen.
As my foster father died I expect that big changes will happen but there are still no news even after my foster father’s death. The territories which I inherited from my late foster father is still stable.
I stood up and wiped my face as I called,
“Akaila.”
“Yes Master.”
A young beautiful lady appear out of thin air and answered me.
This is my personal slave that my late foster father personally picked for me.
She is Akaila, a beautiful young half elf and half human. She was a beauty with curvaceous body and she was 2 years older than me.
Even though she’s my slave, I treat her like my kin.
She is close to me but not as close as others’ master-slave relationships.
One of the reason is because she was also the 6th leader under my late foster father. There are 15 leaders under my late foster’s father. These 15 leaders made up with my foster father were called The White Bandits.
The first 5 leaders were the core leaders directly under my late foster father. While the 6th to 15th were my direct subordinate but we are all working for my foster father.
Now that my foster father passed away, I am the sole inheritor of the White Bandits.
“Gather the 5 core leaders tomorrow. It’s time to move and change my late foster father’s plan.”
“Yes master.” She vowed and disappear out of thin air.
“She’s becoming more beautiful.” I whispered to myself again.
“I’m getting older I need to get a wife soon.”
It’s normal for master and slave to do the deeds.
It’s not that I can’t do the things between man and woman but I was stuck in the King’s realm for 5 years.
This is also the reason why my late foster father called me back from the field and order me to rest and focus.
In order for me to become an emperor, my time was wasted by myself. It’s saddening.
If not for that I should have many wives now. Alas, let's forget it.
I think one of my foster father’s regret, is not seeing his grandson. After living for so long he doesn't have descendent or any blood relatives. But I shouldn’t think about it.
If not for my late foster father passing I don’t know when would I step in this Emperor realm. Until the end of my foster father’s life, he was still my lucky charm.
The night passed by and the sun began to rise from the east. Another day has come.
Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon.
Early in the morning as I was sitting in my small room reading and learning skills as usual, suddenly Akaila came knocking on my door.
“Knock, Knock, Knock.”
“It’s me Master.”
“You may come in.”
I was so engrossed in my studies that I forgot that I was naked.
Akaila entered the room and when he saw me naked she stutters at first but recovered.
“Amh.. Go.. good morning Master. The 4 leaders are already here. The only one who is not here is Leader Tarusa.”
She stares at me while I’m not looking at her.
Her face blushed that makes her more attractive in her fitted combat clothes. But unfortunately, I missed that.
“Okay, thank you for your hard work.”
I replied without looking at her since I was busy comprehending the skills.
“Do you have other request master?”
“Just let me know when they all arrived. Let me read for a while.”
“Yes, Master.”
She replied shyly and quietly left the room.
It’s normal for her to imagine things, she’s still pure like me.
When I realize that something was wrong and an opportunity slipped by, it’s already too late.
“Sigh. **ck this skill.”
Few hours passed. Akaila called me and she said that Taruso, the fifth leader has arrived.
The five leaders were the most trusted aide of my late foster father not because of their loyalty to him but because of a soul contract between them.
In short, they were slaves of my late foster father and they can’t betray him because of the contract.
Now that my foster father is dead they were extremely weakened as a side effect of the contract. It was a permanent state.
They wont be able to unleash their full strength and capability from now on even though they were immortal.
The only way that can nullify their weakened state is to have soul contract with me, the sole successor.
I entered the spacious hall while Akaila followed after me. The five leaders look at me simultaneously and stand up as I walk to the center and take a seat.
There’s no pleasantries and long speech for greetings, we’re not nobles.
Akaila followed me and stand right beside me while they took a seat respectively.
“You already know why I called you all here. Let’s not waste our time. If any of you does not want to be part of the White Bandits and wished to separate with us you can tell it to me now.”
As I ask them and look at their reaction I already know that they don’t have problems with me being the successor.
We already know each other for some time and I have worked with the 3 leaders when I was at the field.
The 3 leaders that I previously worked with were Danna, Gamian and Magnus.
Danna is a High Wizard. She’s the most mysterious among the leaders because she is always well covered. Even now I still don’t know what she looks like. She is the leader of beast tamers and the city lord under the White Bandits.
Gamian is an all around craftsman, good at forging and making talisman. But his specialty was array and formation. He’s a tall man with a thin figure. He has white hair while his mustache and beard where all black. He’s the leader of the trading corps and responsible for providing the armory and weapons of our troops.
The two were human while Magnus is a half human and half angel. He always looks neat and handsome. He has a manly appearance that can mesmerize those who see him. He’s a master swordsman that can also use magic. He leads the Guardian Race that maintain the order of our troops.
The other two were Tarusa and Benneth.
Tarusa were known to be the strongest among the leaders. He was a bloodthirsty person and known to be the most vicious one. Together with his skin color of gray with tattoos all over his muscular giant body he looks intimidating. Intimidating enough that even adults will behave seeing him. He is the leader of the berserker group responsible for annihilating all enemies of our White Bandit group.
As for Benneth, the 5th leader, he is a necromancer. He leads the Poison Mist group responsible for collecting all the tributes, tax and protection fee under our White Bandit group.
As for me I was supposedly the 7th leader under my foster father but when my realm didn’t have a breakthrough for 2 years, my foster father called me back to calm my mind and focus.
“We don’t have problems with you leading us Young Master.”
Danna said.
“We will follow you until the end, Young Master.”
“That’s right master, we will treat you like our previous master, the late Bandit King.”
Danna lead the group, Gamian and Tarusa followed. The five of them bowed to me in unison as I sighed with relaxation.
I know that few of them would follow me but I didn’t expect that they would all still join me. Even though we can separate ways they still made their choice and I think they made the right choice. In the end they still follow me.
I was skeptical about them following me because at first they were loyal to my late foster father because of the slave contract that was forced upon them but maybe after some time deep in their soul, the leadership of my foster father have touched them.
Maybe they believe that my late foster father wouldn’t make me inherit his legacy for nothing.
“Now that you all have pledged your loyalty and allegiance to me, let’s finish the contract.”
Five sphere of different lights merged then flew to me. Unlike the usual slave contract, this is a free will contract. Those who have signed this contract were willing to follow me and have chosen me as their new master.
“From now on, we are true family. Let the world know that I, Haniel, foster son of the late Bandit King Elias, will inherit my late father’s territory and wealth. Anyone who have problems or seek business were always welcome.”
