Despite being born with good genetics, Sean always show actions of cowardice. Standing at nearly 1.9 meters, lean body mass and an above average looks. Sean would always look down at school. He would backdown when provoked to a fight, even those smaller, and clearly weaker than him would pick on Sean. He wasn't able to talk to anyone at home, more so at school. Would scream when a roach passed infront of him. However, Sean knew he was no coward and was only an introverted person, a shy-type, a pacifist.
Sean wasn't always this type of a person. There seems to be something shackling him to voice his thoughts.
When he was a kid. He met a man at a playground, an adult not exceeding 25 years of age, this man had a delicate visage and somehow other people wouldn't even spare a glance at him, of course, young Sean still now knowing what the situation was, ignored it. But this man somehow gave the feeling of an old man. He wouldn't know for sure but he knew what kind of feeling it was as he always talk with his grandparents. But this man that he met was giving off a feeling that he was older. Comparing his grandparents to this man, surely his own grandparents was still in their father's balls and the man would still be what he was right now.
Sean stumbled upon a rock and hit the ground palm first whilst running. And as a kid would have done, he cried.
"Little man, pick yourself up and continue running to where you should head off to." the man said, putting his delicate hand over the back of young Sean while crouching.

Soon after putting his hand over the back of Sean, his delicate hands turned wrinkly and had the color of ashes, and the man's face turned sour. But he quickly recovered and pulled away his hand from young Sean.
Sean on the other hand quickly stood up, he was schocked as he didn't will his own body to stand up
"huwhat?" Sean clearly confused on what happened. However his friend called out to him.
"Sean! Andy's the seeker, come and let's hide together!" Iain said.
"Okay, don't shout at me. Andy's gonna hear us even if we're quite far." Sean cried out to him
"Duh." Iain said.
Meanwhile, the man was happy but his face showed no signs of happiness.
"Damned soul stole a bit of my essence." the man said with a chuckle
"How could two souls inhabit a single body?" the man questioned to the very air.
"I don't know of such a thing either, but look closely son. There's more than two inhabiting that child's body." A voice stated, seemingly the father or the man as he called the man his son.
The man could only sneer at the thought of a body having more than two souls.
"Bah, as if a thing could happen."

Young Sean felt tired and his body sore from running and running. He got home without saying a word to his parents and just threw a nod at his grandparents before going to his room and he was fast asleep.

Noteeee
I am very new to writing novels, and somehow even doing my best. I can still sense that my story is somewhat mediocre, if not bad.
Constructive criticism is very much accepted. Thanks!
