Chapter One: How it began.
,,Shiera, are you sure?" Rease asked, doubt in his voice.
,,My blood runs through his veins. I have no choice." Shiera said, without emotions to be heard.
,,But he's a Halfblood! Let him here, no one would know!" Rease hissed.
,,The rules forbid it. We care for our own." Shiera said, ending the conversation.
They stood in a half burned village, destroyed by pillaging Orcs, now dead all around them. The only survivor a boy, barely 6 years old. Buried under rubble, just his scent betrayed his whereabouts. Only the superior nose of the Wolfkin lead to his discoverie.
Shiera picked the unconscious boy up and carried him like a bag of rice under her arm. Rease led out a sight while they sheated their swords and left.

Pain was the first thing that came to my mind when I woke up. My whole body felt like I was buried under rocks!
I opened my eyes not daring to move a single muscle. A ceiling which I've never seen before greeted my eyes.
,, Hello? Where am I?" I wanted to say, but my voice cracked, only a whisper leaving my lips.
No answer. I could not even move my neck! Tears welled up in my eyes. The pain to much for me to endure. I laid there in bed, only my quiet sobs disturbing the silence. Moments that felt like hours passed until I heard a door open.
Out of the corner of my eye I could see an older Women coming. She had long white hair, Deer-Antlers crowned her head. Dispite her wrinkles she still had a fit body. She stood beside my bed and watched me.
"Awake i see." she said looking in my eyes.
"Please, Water." I managed to say.
"Well it's right there isn't it?" She pointed at something to the right of me, out of my field of vision.
"Take it" she said, still looking at me.
I tried to turn my head, but it hurts so much!
The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.
"please." I bagged.
"Weak" she said, her eyes briefly locked on something to my left before she turned and walked away.
Alone again. Tears run down my face. "Mean old hag!" I screamed in my head.
Despite my pain I tried to sit up, my throat dry as the Lamia Desert. I need Water! Slowly my body rose, the pain begun to lessen! I set up and... lost consciousness.
When I woke up again my throat felt better than before. Someone had given me Water. So I tried again. " Hello?"
Again no answer. But as I said that I discovered that the pain was also gone.
So I stood up. And also discovered that I had no clothes on. A bit ashamed I took the sheets and covered myself by tieing the ends above my left shoulder together.
More or less clothed I looked around the room and saw a women sitting in a chair to the left off my bed.
My eyes widened.
"Mom!" I yelled and took a step forward only to stop and look again. It wasn't my Mom, she looked similar but older and her face was cold. Emotionless, while mom always wore a warm smile on her face.
Than it hit me.
Mom. Mom fighting against Orcs. Mom killing Orcs. We were running. Flames everywhere. Mom placing me in the cellar under the house. She was gone. Fear! I climbed back up and looked out of the window.
A giant Orc holding Mom by the hair.
Holding her aloof. His sword flashed, Moms Head still in his grasp, her body fell! Darkness.
I screamed and cried, a dam broken. The tears fell like rivers down my face. "Mom. MO..!"
A slap took me out of my stupor. My tantrum silenced before it could start.
I kneeled on the floor. I didn't know when I got down. Tears still fell. My right cheek hurt and burned.
"Stop." Not my Mother said. "Krieger don't cry" she said. Turned and sat down again.
I stared at her still kneeling on the floor.
She didn't speak. Neither did I. Minutes passed. She observed me while the last Tears fell down my face. Her face an emotionless mask.
"Done?" She asked. I didn't answer and kept staring. She stood up, walked up to me and slapped me again.
"I asked you a question, answer." She said. My cheek hurt. I wanted to cry but no tears were left. "Yes" Anger boiling up my insides.
"Good, now that you are up, We need to talk. Follow me." She walked passed me, opened the door and walked through it. She took another step before she realized I didn't follow her. She looked back at me and frowned.
I still was still kneeling on the floor."Where am I ?!" I yelled at her, turning my body.
"Do you like pain?" Concern in her voice, as she met my gaze.
Disbelief replaced my anger. "No." I answered weaky.
Her right brow rose slightly, as she continued walking through the door.
I rose and followed her. Unsure what to fell.
