Hello, and thank you for reading Half Elven. As you can see, I have been away for a couple of months and have spent it writing more of Rhania's adventures. I have made some changes to the names and I'll edit this story to reflect it when I find the time. The new story is called Half Elven: Beneath the Surface, and it's shaping up to be two to three times the length of this first story. The summary is as follows:

It has been three hundred years since the combined might of the Ildruni Empire defeated the heretic forces of the Dark Gods. Bereft of a common foe, the Empire has since fragmented, and the former allies have grown distant from one another. As whispers of heresy spring up throughout the Shattered Empire, the Arbiters of Ildurin work tirelessly as mediators to keep its various powers from one another’s throats.
