[21 Hours After the Kagoshima Incident]

A suited individual knocks at the door.
[Room 617]
Ninomiya goes over to open it with his pants on.
“Sir, Private Ted reporting. Leader wants you two suited up and over towards floor 208 immediately under an hour.”
Ninomiya is confused, “Who is this leader? May I ask?”
“Your father sir, Akito Hotaru.”
Ninomiya looks down, “Ok we will be there.”
“I was told to deliver this armor crate over to you, please if you would excuse me.”
Pvt.Ted puts the crate inside and bids his farewell.
Alice exits the shower and her body starts steaming.
Ninomiya opens the crate, there were a few sets of clothes and a set of armor for the both of them.
Ninomiya gears up, a long coat, black latex inner wear and a metal vest. He looks over to Alice, she just has a black latex wear the entire time.
“You always wear that?” He asks
Alice replies, “It's more comfortable than wearing the C Series Armor.”
Ninomiya opens the door and they both exit.
He asks a man stationed at the edge of the corridor.

The man tells him the directions and they head over.
After taking the elevator they reach floor 208.
The door opens to a quiet hallway.
“Hiori should've told you what you were, Ninomiya.” Akito sits there on the chair and puts his hands forth on the desk.
A glass pane that is heavily reinforced is in the middle of them for protection.
“Father, why did you lie to me all my life? Set Up a town just to contain me?” asks Ninomiya with a thousand questions in queue on his mind.
“It wasn't to contain you, your existence itself is world ending.” Akito points out.
Alice sits on one of the chairs, “A mere human, raising a being as powerful as a literal god.”
“Right hand of Akari, you joined my side. I am thankful but if God existed shouldn't the human race be not at her mercy.” Akito says
Alice gets a bit angry, “If I want to I can end this planet with these bare fists. There won't be a conventional weapon that can hurt me. You know which position you stand in right now Akito.”
“Hey, he is the person who raised me. Don't say such things.” Ninomiya tries to hold her back.
“So you still love me after all the things I have done to you. As a father as selfish as this sounds, I have a final request. Help us win this war, Ninomiya.” Akito puts his hand on his head.
“Father…” says Ninomiya
Akito starts losing it, “Please, I beg. It's for our survival as an independent species.”
He starts crying, a mental breakdown was in the progress.
“Please, I have lost too much. I don't wanna lose more again.”
Some guards come over trying to handle the situation, they take Akito away.
A guard comes over to the glass pane and requests Ninomiya to leave this room.
“He’s been traumatized beyond recovery. Living off depression meds and therapy.” Alice says that with a straight face.
Ninomiya looks over at his father one last time and exits the door.
Alice follows him.
[In the Elevator]
“I will fight for his sake. So that they won't have to suffer.”Ninomiya bangs the elevator glass pane with his hand and it breaks into smithereens.
Alice says something, “In this world, feelings drive a person crazy to commit anything if it means to attain it. I think we were that way. But it doesn't mean we should do it, there are lines to be drawn.”
“If I were to fight Akari, who would win?”, Asks Ninomiya.
“You would die in the first 2 seconds. You have no battle experience and output to your name. The potential is in you, it's just unawakened.” States Alice.
[You have Arrived at Sector 2]
“I want to get stronger.”
Alice smiles, “I'll make you.”
The elevator door opens,
Hiori stood in front of the door.
Ninomiya gets a jump scare and tells, “Oh it's just you.”
“What do you mean by it's you? I need you at Sector 4 tomorrow at 6pm , don't be late.”
“Hiori, how was our father before the war?” Asks Ninomiya
“Ever since mother died, he hasn't been in the greatest shape.” She states
Alice goes first and Ninomiya soon follows.
Alice turns around, “Scrap, do you have a battle room?”
Hiori says, “Yea, just wait a month. We took the outpost building a bit seriously this time. You guys will be sparring on Europa.”
“Isn't that in Europe?” Ninomiya guesses
Hiori puts a palm on her head “Idiot that's on Jupiter. It's a moon. My team is building an outpost using robots. It's scheduled to be completed next month.”
“Why should an outpost be that far away? Oh right, so we don't accidentally destroy this world. I get it.” Laughs Alice.
Ninomiya doesn't find it that funny nor does Hiori.
“Did I crack a bad joke?”
