High in the atmosphere, almost in the stratosphere, there is nothing visible but the clouds going off to the horizon. The Sun hanging low, close to them, creating beautiful colors on the infinite carpet of clouds against the backdrop of a deep blue sky. A black object is falling, rapidly accelerating. It appears to be some sort of powered exo-skeleton, but sadly, the suit doesn't seem to have those magical thrusters for flying, that everyone's favorite red Tin Man has. But they do seem to have some sort of airbrakes deployed. Which aren't really helping all that much due to the thin air.
As he falls from the seemingly infinite sky above the breathtakingly beautiful clouds, there is a regretful yet content smile behind the glass of his helmet.
[Guess this is finally the end huh? Unless my trusty board makes it in time. But last I checked, it was a 100KM away, close to the surface too. So, I doubt there is going to be a "to be continued" on this one.]
[Well, it's not too bad of a way to go out as far as all the terrible ways to go out seem to be around these days.]
[But I sure am glad I saved them and popped a few green heads while at it.]
He flashes a vicious and a bit of a hateful smirk.
[What's with this seemingly long monologue of thoughts? Is this how it is right before death? ...Perhaps so.....]
[Ahh.....I see. It's the lack of oxygen getting to my head... I feel sleepy. What’s the point of keeping my consciousness up anyways? might as well die unaware]

[Goodbye world......]
He slowly closes his eyes amongst the high-speed wind, blasting his ears, that are also bleeding from the low pressure.
*The World fades to black*
◄)) Birds chirp, the rustle of leaves in the breeze, the bushes from some small animals and sounds of insects stir a figure lying on their back.
[There is something wet under my ass and back.]
[Wait! Did I wet myself in bed at this age?! WTF?! Never done it since I was a tiny little dude! But......wait. It doesn't feel like I'm resting on any bed. It's not hard like a floor either]
He slowly opens his very lazy eyes as incomprehension floods his thoughts. The eyelids feel like they're made from led, but he eventually manages to open a sliver, just enough to catch the view above. What he sees is a thick canopy covering most of the bright sky, but the ambient light is still high enough to see. He finds the canopy to be a bit too far away but doesn't mull over it too much and he can't recognize the trees, but as he's no expert in the field, doesn't pay much mind to it. He tries his best to move his neck a bit to get some sense of his immediate surroundings. He is lying in what appears to be a wide clearing with low underbrush in woods of some kind, probably because of how thick and dark, the canopy above him is. He spots a few birds darting around between trees and some insects here and there. The later seem particularly big and revolting to him.
"Where the fuck?......" he mutters, before his eyes grow wide from realization and shock. Eyebrows twisted into a deep frown from bewilderment as he takes in the surroundings.
