Grocery Bag
How enchanting works.

How enchanting works.

During his private enchanting sessions he astonished one of his customers who knew a bit more about the process of enchanting. Usually an enchantment would need mutliple steps and materials for it to be successful.

Firstly the item to be enchanted, secondly the enchantment formula on a scroll, next something called the enchanting liquid, made from mana-drenched herbs,  and lastly a material associated with an element. The scroll would react like a magnet to the liquid, absorbing all of it while momentarily creating a magic field. Then the material would have to be placed inside while directing the magic flow towards the item. The field then transmutes the material into tiny particles which will assimilate with the item.

These tiny particles hold the information to create a reaction with the laws of the world, enabling a item to, for example, be more durable. A bag with a durability enchantment would not rip by accident, a stronger force would have to be used than just any random occurence. As for the material used for such an enchantement a normal stone with traces of mana inside would suffice to create a weak version of the durability enchantement.

For an enchantement to reduce temperature a material with the water element is to be used. To create a stronger version of the same weak enchantment, water element material with the subelement of ice or frost is needed.

Tweet's ability enables him to create the magic field without the use of a scroll and the enchanting liquid.

This ability stems from his inner world. One day during his "sleep" and having accumulated more water and tiny traces of sunlight inside of this mysterious world he wondered if he could create a landscape. And so he used days to imagine an island made out of sand. After weeks he was able to create a tiny amount of sand that just stayed afloat on top of the water. Almost two years were needed to create a small sized island. Afterwards he focused on the creation of dirt which took him even longer. By the age of 9 he had a midsized island with dirt and sand. By age of 16 he had plants. A house is currently being built inside of the world. Some pillars are done, marble floors and some trialsruns of wooden decoration.

This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road. If you spot it on Amazon, please report it.

Using this principle he once accidentaly created a mana-scourge which resembled an enchanters mana field. All he wanted to do was to see if he could recreate the same feeling outside of his body as he had inside, which resulted in a mana field which he once deemed useless. After he got more accustomed to the ways of enchanting and seeing his first manafield used for enchantments, he knew, he might be able to recreate that same principle.

After trial and error, writing scrolls after scrolls, learning how to place each line correctly to ensure the tiny particles would hold the correct information while using the lowest of the low grade magic materials, he succesfully created his first enchantment.

Back then he used to expirement on chopsticks. He once gave a chopstick the enchantment of weak flexibility with a slimes manacore resulting in him having to eat the, by then, already cold food with his hands.

Only his twisted sense of ambition would result in him getting stuck with his grocery bags. Because he never had any ambition previously.

Having finished the last of enchantements for the day, Tweet slowly made his way back from the capital to the village. He had to walk for about half an hour from capital exit to village entry. By the time he came back the sun was already going down and only a few villagers could be seen walking along the roads.

What suprised him as he got close to his shop/and sleeping place/ were two new faces, discussing with each other, staring at his shop. One was a young woman and the other an elderly man. Both of their clothes, in Tweet's eyes, are to be viewed as fancy. The mouth of the woman was vicious as she was spewing words in the direction of the shop.

> How could that old man Niles close his shop already and why the hell is this new shop selling grocery bags? The lady told us to see what Niles has been up to but he's not even here anymore. Instead it's this... this... what the hell is this?
