Prologue

It was blurry, like looking at the sky from underwater. But this is clearly on dry lands. A dream, then? The scene is a giant crater, easily as large as an entire forest. I wasn't sure how large it was, but it’s very big. The only elements worth notice, and most probable causes for this wasteland, are eight vaguely defined silhouettes, seven humans-no, not humans. They are gods - and some giant scaled creature, a serpent, or perhaps a dragon. Suddenly it roared at the seven humanoids! Its roar is so fierce the earth shakes and almost splits, yet the gods don’t budge in the slightest. After this world-ending show of strength, the vision continues.

The silhouettes are still here, and so is the hazy feeling. No additional details can be seen, yet the giant being is clearly nearing its death, as it slumps on the ground and bleeds profusely. As this last attack was in vain, one of the deities finally speaks.

"Is this all you have, O almighty senior?" Said the apparent leader, an individual of undetermined gender and features, save for its 2 pairs of arms and 3 pairs of wings, complete with a giant ring on its back. As he continues to speak, his voice was full of dignity and elegance, a fitting tone for a god. The giant creature groans, not in pain but in anger. My body shivers as I hear the giant creature speak.

"Wh...why have you..all of you why...I made all of you a god because I..TRUSTED YOU!! The lot of you!! " Said the giant creature, I was surprised by the creature's tone of voice, imposing and strong even though it is in the brink of death.

I didn't notice this until now, but the figure of the beast was becoming clearer by the minute, unlike the seven individuals. The head of the mysterious being bore 2 pairs of horns, 1 of them being broken, and a mouth filled with sharp, blade-like fangs. As for its body, it is serpentine, with a most unique limb arrangement. 6 wings are growing in pairs along its length, and if the front limbs are scaled arms, the rear ones are fins, and so is the tip of the tail. Its entire body surface was covered in gem-like scale, their color like that of obsidian, with a purple tinge, shining brightly even under liters of blood.

"Hahahahahahaha you..hahahaha....you have still have the audacity to ask such a foolish question. well I'm having a good mood today so I'll tell you, We need the GrimMoonlight so we could rule over mundo and finally reach nirvana!! " Said the first individual to the right side of the six-winged god. This man...or whatever it might be, had the tail of a scorpion, and twisted horns protruded from its head. The thing sounded like a madman when it had spoke, shamelessly revealing why they were trying to kill this giant creature. (Grim…GrimMoonlight? I have heard of this but.....BUT why can't I remember where and when!!!???) I thought to myself.

"I will never hand over the GrimMoonlight, Just go and DIE!!!" With a thundering roar, the giant creature spews a dark flame from its mouth. The scorching breath was the size of a small mountain, yet all of this was in vain as an invisible shield surrounding the seven individuals blocked it.

"Oh me, oh my, what a pathetic attack. It's truly a shame Senior, your struggle was all for naught!" said a woman. I could tell it's a woman from the tone of her voice and even the blur couldn’t hide her voluptuous curves, chest the size of small melons, not too big and not too small, it was perfect and could make any man fall for her. Assuming they were fine with her fox ears and 9 tails.

"why..why did this happened..why did it come this, I…You people are already Gods and I given you freedom to intefere on mundo. You don't even need the GrimMoonlight!!" said the titanic reptile, trying to know the real reason of their betrayal.

"Shut up and give us what we need!!" the madman with the scorpion tail seemed ready to fight, but was shot down by an old man next to him.

"Calm down, don't be impatient. He's already in the brink of death, might as well give him what he wants, eh?" said the old man. His body had well developed muscles, like a veteran of many wars, but he had 2 additional arms and a second face on the back of his head.

The battle crazy god did not calm fully until the leader spoke.

"SILENCE!!!" he shouted, flicking his fingers towards the madman, which sent him flying with incredible speed.

"Ughh cough my...my apology, it will never happen again!" said the much calmer god, as he tried to pick himself up.

"Not with your word fool but with your action!" Said the leader, swiftly recovering his dignified tone before he continued.

"Putting that aside, I will answer your questions, o omnipotent predecessor!” said the leader mocking the giant creature. “You have given us power that we could never imagined but in the end we are just your shadow, we follow it endlessly like a fool, that is why I want to change that. I am willing to kill our creator to rule over the Mundo, using the GrimMoonlight we will erased your creation and created our own creation!!" As he said the word "erased" it echoed through my minds and the next moments I heard a thundering roar once more.

"BASTARDS!!" unleashing yet another roar, even though he knew it would be in vain. "I will never hand over the Grimoonlight to traitors the like of you!!!" The giant creature then rushed towards its rebellious underlings, but was stopped by a barely noticeable thread, the kind used to control puppets, as it wrapped his entire body.

"Oh goody he fell for my trap kukuku" said by a person laughing in enjoyment, finally caught the giant creature in one of his trap. the “Person”’s body was made out of woods and having a giant X on its back and dressed like a jester.

"Oink-hnk-hnk-hnk! When we are done, I want to cook his corpse snort I am eager to taste his flesh!" said a fat, drooling pig. And by that I mean not ‘fat’ but literally pig-faced. Maybe it’s an orc? Whatever it was, it had 2 pairs of arms and a set of tiny wings, completely dwarfed by the giant ring on its back.

"Disgusting", whispered a woman. "Enough with the chit-chat, we need the Grimoonlight! Give us what we desire and you might live to see a new dawn!" She was right next to the orc-ish person, and had 2 pairs of bat-like wings, the lower half of a snake and yet more snakes for hair.

“This is taking to long we need the GrimMoonlight!!” said the last person. This person was wearing a mask-no that’s his skull its similar to a crow with 2 pairs of horns! It had 2 pairs of wings and wielding a scythe.

"Haahahaha...I willl never hand it, I will protect my creation till my last breath!" The giant creature freed itself from the trap and tried to attack, but in the next moment his wing and horns on one side were destroyed.

"Truly a shame I missed. Next try will hit the mark, O overgrown lizard,” said the leader, unleashing a light so bright it rivalled the sun.

"Hahaha... if I am to die-" sighed the draconic deity.

"Oh my will you going to hand over what we desire?" said the 9-tailed vixen, thinking it had finally given up, but...

"-THEN NOT EVEN ON MY DEAD BODY WILL YOU HAVE THE Grimoonlight!!!" at these words, it created a giant black flame in its mouth then somehow grabbed it with a claw, and tried to put in its chest.

"Stop him!!" The leader shouted, trying to prevent the much bigger creature from self-destructing.

Then a giant explosion occurred, flooding the giant crater in blinding light, and only after a few minutes did the smoke thin out. I could see the seven individuals had sustained minor wounds, but the giant dragon had disappeared from the neck down. Then the seven individuals approached the giant corpse, or to be more precise the mangle and unusually large head that remained.

As they approached the corpse, the leader noticed something bright, yet all but bright, a light that spread only darkness. As I tried to peer into it, I wasn’t blinded, my eyes not even watering, yet I could feel a strange unease.

"We finally have the Grimoonlight!!" exulted the leader, prompting the other six to cheer. At least until he realised something. "No wait, something is wrong, it’s....it’s incomplete!!" They then heard a faint, disembodied laugh, that left them shivering.

When I heard the laugh, my body started moving on its own, and speaking with the dragon’s voice:

"Hahahaha you fools, you will never have the GrimMoonlight! I feel like being nice, so let me tell you a couple things, you retarded god wannabes. I used my remaining strength to shatter the GrimMoonlight into pieces, along with my body, and disperse them throughout all of Mundo. At last my time has come, heed my warning you foolish gods! When the night turns dark as obsidian I will be reborn as one of my creations, wielder of a piece of my body, and at that time, REVENGE WILL BE MINE!" With a final roar, I suddenly woke up, gasping for air with sweat covering my entire body. Uh, a roar? Why would I think of a roar of all things? Must have been a weird dream, but I can’t seem to recall anything from it. And that damned headache sure doesn’t help!

"Oh yeah I need to get ready, today is the festival of Grimoonlight!" Remembering something more important than weird dreams that don’t want to be remembered, I ran outside my room and dismissed what had happened tonight. I failed to notice it at the time I left my room, but traces of small black smoke lingered for a moment near my bed, before they abruptly vanished.
