In a mountain range in the Region of Cebu. The once greatest Clan still exists. They who in the past were the leaders of Cebu, became the lowest amongst the Clans.
Being reduced to such a state, made it hard for the Clan to maintain all of their lands. With no choice, they sold some of their once glorious lands to others to support the whole Clan. Now they only have a small piece of land with bad vegetation. All members of the Clan were composed mostly of warriors.
In the past they could produce those Legendary Demon Spiritists. Now, they couldn't even produce Silver ranked Demon Spiritists.
Cultivation realms are divided in five realms in Cebu. The first and lowest rank is the Bronze Demon Spiritists. Then comes Silver, Gold, Black Gold and lastly, the strongest, the Legend ranked Demon Spiritists. Each realm is split in 9 levels. Before one could advance from a realm to another realm, he has to be a level 9 Warrior or Demon Spiritist.
Being a Demon Spiritists and being a Warrior are completely different from each other. For example a Bronze Demon Spiritists has the body strength of a Bronze Warrior, except for the fact that d
Demon Spiritist could absorb other beings soul and use its abilities to enhance their strength. for example, gaining a demon eagle's soul would give Demon Spiritists a chance to turn their hands to claws and grow wings On their back. It only depends on how much the Demon Spiritists could comprehend the ability.
So, if a Warrior and a Demon Spiritists of the same rank fights, it would naturally be the loss of the Earrior.
The strongest Demon Spritists the Clan is only a Bronze rank level 8 DemonSpiritists. He is the Patriarch of the Clan.
The Patriarch had a hard time dealing about the clan's situation for a long time now. As it was already this way when the position was given to him.
Every often he would lecture all the clansmen, especially the children about their pasts glory, encouraging everyone to do their best. He would narrate that when the Clan was at their peak, everyone would bow down to them, throwing themselves to their feets. But one day, when a demon horde attacked Cebu, the Clan was betrayed by every single Clans. They ran away and left Cebu, forcing them to fight the demons alone. Only their Clan was left to defend and protect the people of Cebu. Resulting to them winning the war but by sacrificing the lives of the Legend ranked Demon Spiritists of the Clan down to every capable cultivators of the Clan. Thus, becoming what they are today. Without the guidance of those experts, they had a hard time climbing back to their peak, and eventually it was only getting worst by every generation that came after.
The Clan lived through by sellingdifferent kinds of herbs. The monetary system is categorized through Copper, Bronze, Silver and Gold. The Equivalent value would be one Bronze coin for a thousand Copper coins and vise versa.
The Clan would need to spend atleast 1 Silver coin a month to support the whole Clan. that would be equal to a million Copper coins. The herbs would only sell at hundreds to a thousand daily. So, the Clan had no choice but to sell some of the lands to support everyone.
During this time of the year, the Clan would have to send young cultivators to a Sect to train. If it was in the past, they wouldn't need to send any cultivators to any Sect as the Clan could directly supervise any young cultivator. But now, they don't even have any cultvation technique to teach their own clansmen. All the Clan could do was send people to a Sect so they could learn a cultivation technique and start cultivating. Even the cultivation technique of the Patriarch came from a third rate Sect. The Clan could not afford to send any cultivators to first rate Sects as it costed a lot. The Clan can't even afford the second rate ones. Thus leaving them with no option but the third rate Sects. Third rate Sects are supervised by Silver ranked Demon Spiritists, the second rate ones are handled by Gold ranked, while the first rate Sects are handled by Black Gold rank Demon Spiritists.
In the Clan hall.
This hall had some ancientness to it. Gold pillars and golden thrones could be seen and the decorations would surely excite anyone who sees it.
The hall was emitting some airs of supremacy. But sadly the strongest in this hall was only a Bronze ranked Demon Spiritist. He was seating in a wooden throne, looking so righteous. He created his own throne as he doesn't dare to seat in those golden thrones. This was the Clan Patriarch.
Currently in front of him was a group of youngsters, they are the ones to be sent to a third rate Sect this time. Sending people to a Sect requires money, so obviously they had to sell another land to send these young men and women, which hurted the Patriarch, but a faint look of expectation appeared in his eyes. He was hoping that this generation would be the ones to end their situation. If only they could produce even a Single Silver rank Demon Spiritists, that would be a cause for celebration, atleast having a Silver rank Demon Spiritists means that the Clan is getting stronger and they would be able to slowly get back their lands.
"You all are this generations hope. Do your best in training in the Adc Sect. It costed a lot to get you all to train there. Don't let down the family, but more importantly, great achievements comes with great dangers. If your life is at risk and you can't take it anymore, it's better to come back, being alive means we would have another shot in the future even if you failed."

The Patriarch stood and slowly said in a soft but serious tone.
The young men and women couldn't help but tense up when hearing the great expectations of the Patriarch. They were worried that they would fail and the lands sold were for nothing. Failure is not an option or else their Clan will meet its end soon.
They knew that they only had normal talent in cultivation and some would even compare themselves lower than normal. Thus, some of them started feeling their knees gone soft. Making them lose their strength to stand straight. The pressure from the expectations of the Patriarch was just too great for them.
Seeing the reactions from these young men and women, the Patriarch frowned and became worried that their training would not end well because of the pressure they are carrying.
The Patriarch was about to console these young men and women when the hall door opened. The Patriarch looked over and saw a young man, together with the young man was a woman who was nearing her forties. Even though she was already nearing her forties, she was still beautiful, she looked like someone at her late twenties, this was the young man's mom.
"Li Zel, you two came back right on time. Now we could send Li Ma to Adc together with his cousins."
When the Patriarch saw Li Ma, in his eyes, appeared the look of expectation again. Another member sent would mean a higher chance of success, but it would only cost more. But even if this was the case, the Patriarch still wanted to send all the youngsters to a Sect to gain experience and hopefully bring great results.
This young man was Li Ma, he is traveling together with his mom to sell herbs to some City.
"Mn, that's a good idea Patriarch. But i don't think they would fare too well if we send them the way they are, they're not even warriors yet."
Li Zel nodded at first but expressed her worry about sending this youngsters.
Hearing this, the youngsters looked even more pressured and some would likely to fall down on the ground anytime now.
"I know that you are worried that they might be looked down upon by others by the time they arrive at the Sect and there's a chance that they might be bullied. But we have no alternative, if we don't send them, we would only be waiting for our doom and they won't be able to become a Demon Spiritist as we don't have any cultivation techniques to teach them. Year by year, our land is getting smaller and smaller."
The Patriarch said, he really had no alternative.
Hearing this Li Zel looked at his son, Li Ma.
Li Ma was also not a warrior, he had a fair skin, he is kinda tall and he is handsome. He looked so fragile that she worried so much for her son.
Li Ma, noticed the Patriarch and her mom's expressions, he couldn't help but laugh.
Seeing him laugh, the other youngsters were dumbfounded, even the Patriarch and her mom had the same reaction.
What was he laughing about? How could he laugh at this situation? He is so fearless!
His laughter continued for awhile, removing some pressure in everyone's heart.
"What's so funny Li Ma? Can't you see the burden we are carrying?"
A cousin of his spoke. It was a girl by the name of Li Pat. She was older than Li Ma by a year. Li Ma turner 15 years old this year.
"What!? Why are you worrying about that now!? Can't you see this is our chance? We would finally become great Demon Spiritists that will be soaring through the skies like our ancestors and have people bow down to us. This brings the greatest chill down my spines! Finally I'll become a Demon Spiritists! Hahaha.."
Li Ma said with excitement, he laughed heartilly from his lungs. His laughterresounded throughout the hall.
Hearing this, the other youngsters were silent and soon the tense feeling they had started to vanish and they also started laughing. Atleast Li Ma's crazy dream was more difficult than to become a Silver rank Demon World Spiritist.
"Hahahahahahah!"
Everyone was laughing, Including the Patriarch. Dreaming that high is not so bad.
"To think Li Ma has such a huge dream. Atleast a dream like that is better than thinking about failure."
Another cousin of his spoke, this time it was a guy, and he was also older than Li Ma by a year. He was Li Pyle
The patriarch was overjoyed by thecurrent scene. Atleast everyone was that tense compared to a while ago.
"Li Ma, you will go with them to adc and train with all you've got. I wish everyone good luck."
The Patriarch said. he was really happy now. A huge smile blossomed on his old face.
"Well then, let's get going and start traveling to Adc Sect now!"
The eldest in the group said. He was Li Pao, Li Pyle's elder brother.
Everyone was excited, compared to a moment ago, it felt like this batch could really do it.
"Patriarch Li Pau, we will be going now."
Li Pao, Li Ma and the others bowed their heads towards their Patriarch, expressing their gratitude for sending them to Adc.
