I'm Maverick Shaw, 30 years old and an ordinary citizen of Revan Country. I was born with innate strength and ability of manipulating mana. I was tasked by my country to defeat all villains within our territory. That request becomes a worldwide request. I was bored so I accept it. I thought it would satisfy my hunger for battle. After 14 years, the whole world reported that all of the known Villains were defeated by me.

The whole word gave me the title 'Strongest Hero', but I don't need that title. What I want is to fight. Then this idea struck into me. Why don't I take the role of villain? Since most of the people within this world wants to be a hero, why don't I, the 'strongest hero' challenge them? If they defeat me, they'll obtain the title, while If I defeat them, my hunger would be satisfied?

What a brilliant idea, is what I thought. With a smile on my face, I started to go on a journey to find a place where to start my life as the 'Villain'. I found a piece of land occupied by one of those villains I defeated during the subjugation request. That place looks like a haunted castle. If I were to be a villain, I need to be scary in the eyes of people. The castle was a hideout of a automatic doll scientist. Inside of it are models of those dolls that was used as maids for its maintenance. It would be a pain to clean this whole castle by myself so I find it convenient.

Now what's left is to announce my decision to be a villain. I need to start by invading a town. With my present look, those villagers will let me invade them but not as a villain but as a hero. I need to change my look.

After scavenging the previous owner of the castle's items, I saw a great helm and a dark armor with a cape. The size was adjustable by using mana. This will make me look like a genuine villain.

I also operated those combat dolls that I once battled during my mission here. I'll be with them, but not as enemies, but as allies.
