Raymond Bardou Sanders had always been the best friend with great ideas. He spent most of his teenage years helping his friends not only succeed at whatever crazy ideas they had but also tutoring many other kids younger than him. Raymond wasn't the smartest child growing up but he always made sure to learn everything completely and he had a way with words.
There are times where although he had gotten a C on something he could teach that same lesson to another kid and the other kid would pass with a high B or low A. As he grew older and got into business after college his gift was further noticed by every one of his bosses and he gained promotions and raises much quicker than his peers.
Surprisingly this didn't cause his co-workers to hate him. Quite the contrary all of his co-workers seemed to love the man because he helped everyone he could when he could. Giving advice on everything from the best place to build a new mall to personal/relationship issues. It's because of this fact that when he finally retired at 65 he was asked to teach college kids at his local community college. Being the man he was he didn't turn it down and as the years went by and his body got weaker never once did this old man complain about all the work he had to do and instead pushed himself even when his students would try to convince him otherwise.
Stolen novel; please report.
This went on until a week after his 95th birthday when the world changed

"Alright everyone you know the drill. You have any issues I'll be in my office for the next 3 hours to help who I can otherwise? Have a great weekend."
I watch as my students start streaming through the door when suddenly the whole world seems to shake. The building starts shaking so badly parts of the ceiling and floor start to break apart and before I know it a few of my larger sporty students have come together to keep the pieces off of me. After what could have only been 5 minutes at most it stops then all of a sudden just as soon as the earthquake happens something pops up in my field of vision.
