"Huu....."
A sigh escaped from the lips of a child standing in the middle of a corridor.
His eyes were listless watching the drifting grey clouds in the vast expanse of the azure sky as the sun peeked behind the grey wall of moving clouds.
The sunlight entering through the window was getting reflected on the golden ornaments of the corridor.
Chirp.
The chirping of the birds made the focus return to the child's eyes.
The child looked to the other end of the corridor and started moving.
The child looked no older than a 4-year-old. He had a black eye and black hair. His face was smooth and somewhat fair. The determination in his eyes combined with his facial features made him look like a small angry animal.
The corridor had many framed pictures some old, some new alongside the jewel-embedded golden ornaments giving it a feeling of luxury. The sun through the windows was the only thing that didn't give off the feeling of authority and wealth.
But such luxurious things were unable to attract the child's attention as he made his way through the corridor.
The hurried step of the child could be heard throughout the corridor.
After crossing a few doors and intersections a golden door with patterns and shapes at the end of the corridor came into view.
If one looked closely one can see that the door was trying to convey some form of story to the watcher.
As if the appearance of the golden door put some kind of energy on the child he started pacing faster.
But, suddenly the sound of someone walking through the connected corridor could be heard.
Alerted by the sound, the child started sprinting faster without caring about the sound he produced.
Thud.Thud.Thud.
The child ran with all his might.
" Young Master" a voice was heard from the intersection.
The child stopped for a while to turn back and look at the source of the voice.
An old man probably in his 60s came into view. With a black vest and pants with a white shirt underneath he was the image of a typical butler.

His face was gentle with few wrinkles and adorned with a white beard he gave off a kind grandpa feeling.
But the child's face showed horror as he turned around and ran with all his might as if to outrun something even though the distance between the old man and the child was large.
The child ran and ran till the golden door was within his grasp and...
Whoosh.
A wind blew by the side of the child as he felt someone lifting him by the torso.
The child didn't show any panic rather his face crumpled.
" Young Master, you cannot enter the king's court "
The gentle voice entered his ears.
The smile never left the butler's face as he carried the young master in the opposite direction.
He was the head butler and was in charge of everything in the palace as he skillfully completed the wishes and orders of his master and mistress.
Today like all other days he was on the hunt for this particular young master who was repeatedly trying to break into the king's court.
If it was any other time he would have paid no attention but considering the accident that happened a few days ago he was not taking any risk.

"Sebastian "
A dark-eyed lady in a dress that looked like a work of art was sitting on a chair with a cup in her hands as she put the cup on the table she called a name.
She was Adrianna, the mother of a child named Sebastian.
She looked in the direction of the opened door and there was standing an old man with a child in his arms.
Her expression darkened with annoyance as the child came into her.
Seeing the sight, the butler opened his mouth.
" Madam, I found the young master "
" I can see that"
" In the west wing corridor"
Her expression darkened even more as she glared at the child but she smiled and replied," Thank you for looking after him head butler"
"No Madam, it's my duty "
Saying he let go of the child.
" Please remember me when you need me and I hope that the young master can develop the patience to stay in his room "
The butler bowed and left the room.
Andrianna kept smiling but her eyes were not. Her teeth were gritting.
The moment the butler left she looked at the boy and angrily asked:" Sebastian, what were you doing in the west wing?!"
" Nothing", the child replied.
" Don't lie to me "
She glared at Sebastian with a bloodshot eye.
The child felt his spine chilling as his mother looked with such fury.
" I-I wanted to see God's Eye" the child answered trembling.
" What?!!!" Adrianna screamed.
" How dare such an idea came to your head"
" Did you forget that you nearly died last time?"
" Or is it that the near-death experience dumbed you down "
" Don't you think about my reputation? Don't you think your father's reputation? What about your reputation don't you care?"
"Looks like you have to be disciplined so that such thoughts never occur to you again"
Adrianna ranted and with each sentence, her voice increased in intensity giving it a feeling as if she was screeching.
" Ha....Ha....."
She lost strength while screaming so much and sweat started dripping from her forehead.
As she wiped her forehead she looked at the child, who was teary-eyed, the annoyance on her face returned.
She took the cup from her table again and drenched her throat.
She didn't pay any attention to the child as she was drinking from the cup.
She put one of her hands on her temple as she massaged her head.
After a while when she felt that her condition was getting better a whimpering sound entered her ears.
She immediately turned her head to look at the quivering child and looked at him with bloodshot eyes.
"Sebastian, you are to be grounded for a week and no complaining "
She didn't wait for an answer as she said," Go back to your room or there will be no food for you in the dinner"
The child tremblingly nodded and obliged as he made his way towards his room"
When the child went out of sight Adrianna cursed " Dammit, insolent child" as she drank again from the cup
