PROLOGUE
Within the Divine phoenix continent lay many relics of an ancient era. One where the god’s of the 12 heavens and supreme experts from the various worlds clashed in terrifying wars. Due to the high intensity of these wars, many primordial god races dwindled to the point of extinction. Thus allowing humanity to take over all the planes and worlds within them. However these Ancient beings left behind many tombs of inheritance. Each of these gods’ inheritance was obtainable by those who had the power to pass the trials. As humans began their reign, these sacred tombs became known as God trials, for any who passed them would obtain the bloodline and treasures wielded by these God like figures.
The Divine Phoenix continent is the southernmost continent of the Divine Beast world in the Elementalists Plane. Naturally the ruling dynasty is called the Divine Phoenix Dynasty as they obtained the inheritance of the Phoenix god king, and those inherent skills are what run in the bloodline of this royal family. All in all, the God’s’ Trials can be placed in a ranking scale based upon the rewards provided to those who pass it. The grades are as such – Standard trial, Royal trial, Imperial trial, Divine ancestral Trial, Primordial God King Trial and Primordial God Supreme Emperor Trial…
“Brother, slow down. You’re walking to fast!” a little girl called out. In front of her was a boy in his mid-teens. This pair of siblings were both cultivators. People who could refine different forms of ethereal energy in their bodies to improve their minds, physiques and souls. The young girl was considered a genius in these parts and had already attained the peak intermediate realm despite only being 9 years old. The elder brother whom she was calling out was actually considered the worst kind of trash and his cultivation had only reached the initial intermediate stage despite being nearly 6 years older.
Cultivators in the world were ranked as follows, elementary stage, intermediate stage, advanced stage, profound spiritual stage, profound earth stage, and profound sky stage with an initial, middle and peak stage in each ranking. In these remote western parts of the Divine Phoenix continent, the strongest expert would probably only be someone who had reached the Profound Spiritual stage after nearly 60 years of training. The little girl was highly valued in their home town due to her exceptional talent of being able to reach the peak of the intermediate stage at the age of 9. Thus giving her a good chance to break the previous record of Profound Spiritual stage and hopefully bring the small city a Profound Earth Stage Practitioner. If she was successful then the city would become much more prosperous as the bandit clans in the valleys would no longer dare to harass their village with a Profound Earth stage practitioner guarding it.
“Oh Seera, you can’t blame your brother for wanting to walk faster, the sooner we reach the mist valley the better because then those village goons won’t be able to find me and extort money!” The teen replied. This boy’s name was Larkspur Symphire and he was the young master of the Symphire clan, which was one of the 3 largest clans in the city. Being the son of the Patriarch, he naturally got many benefits, but because he had the worst affinity with ethereal energy seen in the last 10,000 years, he was treated as a decrepit dog. The small allowance he had from being a part of a big clan was usually extorted from him by his cousins since he was too weak to fight back. His sister on the other hand, despite being younger then him by 8 years, could easily defeat an 18 year old in combat due to her talent and natural prowess. She had even beaten initial advanced stage practitioner for her brother once.

From the shame of needing a 9 year old to help him protect his allowance, Larkspur would frequently take trips to the Mist valley where it would be exceedingly difficult for those bullies to find him. This was off course at the cost of not being able to use his allowance.
His younger sister on the other hand, followed him relentlessly because she was afraid he would run away and never come back.
As this pair of siblings entered the Mist valley they quickly arrived at a small cave. This was the place that Larkspur would bury his allowance. Although he was trash, he himself had never come to accept that title in his heart. He simply considered his inability to refine ethereal essence as hurdle which he could inevitably overcome. And when he did, he would have a huge allowance which had been slowly accumulated over time. Naturally thinking that her brother was very smart in this aspect, little Seera also buried her allowance in this cave. However today was a little different than previous times. When they went into the cave and buried their allowances, Seera asked her brother a question which would affect the future of all the planes and worlds. Naturally she didn’t know this at the time so she widened her eyes and adorably looked up at her brother and asked,
“Brother, what should we play today?”
After giving it some thought Larkspur replied, “Seera, your brother is rather tired today, why not we just explore this cave, we’ve never really been into the end before?”
“But brother, I’m scared of dark places, what if there is a big poisonous snake in the end?”
“It’s okay Seera, if there is a snake in the end it will probably take a look at your big brother and think that it would be a waste to even bother eating us” Larkspur sincerely replied. Seera had been 2 years old when a 25 ft. python had snuck into her room and was found sleeping under her bed. This gave the poor girl nightmares about snakes frequently since that incident. Now she believed that in almost every dark corner there was a large snake waiting to eat her. At the time of the incident, it had actually been Larkspur who bravely held onto the snakes head and made sure it couldn’t bite anyone until help arrived. This was also why Seera was most willing to go exploring dark corners with this brother of hers.
Larkspur quickly took out a light gem from his pocket and started injecting some ethereal energy into it. This particular crystal was known to glow when it absorbed ethereal energy. As the two walked deeper into the cave, it became exceedingly difficult to see the entrance. Seera was completely freaked out by this and started fearfully squeezing her brother’s arm to the point where the bones were nearly fractured. Although Larkspur could be considered brave, but he was not stupid enough to allow his sister to break his arms for no reason at all. It was at this time that he forcefully let her go that he dropped the light gem and darkness enveloped them both. Seera Screamed and jumped in the direction she last saw her brother, but only met with empty air. Scrambling around and crying she screamed for her brother.
“Brother please don’t leave me, I won’t… squeeze your arms… ever again!” she cried in between sobs. And this was the last time Larkspur would ever hear her voice.
