----------------------------------------
It was a Normal day.
Everything was Perfect.
Nothing was wrong.
So Why?
Why did this happen?
Why?!

As I walked towards Ruby’s house, I couldn't help but smile. Today was her 19th birthday and I had spent a pretty large sum of money on a gift for her. I couldn't wait to see how she would react, would she like it? I hope so.
The street was pretty empty, I noticed. Although it would be considering that it past 7:00 at night, but it still made me uncomfortable.
I was about five more minutes away from Ruby’s house now and I just couldn't help checking my reflection in a passing window.
Nothing seemed wrong, my hair was still a dirty blonde colour that was borderline brown and my features still as sharp as they always are. Nothing on my face, clothes aren't too dirty and my hair is still relatively clean.
All is good then.

As I arrived at Ruby's house I couldn't help but stop for a second. Something just didn't feel right. It's like that feeling of being watched but you don't know who it is.
I brushed it off as paranoia.
I shouldn't have.

Standing before Ruby's door I attempted to calm my nerves. After I gave her the present I had to ask if she will move in with me. We've been together for four years and I'd finally gotten a good job with decent pay.
God I hate my nerves.
I mean I'm not a very emotional guy, but when it comes to ruby…….
I bring my spare key to the lock and open the door.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As I close the door behind me I can't help but notice the overwhelming silence. It's not normal, Ruby is an energetic person, noise is always around her.
I feel a knot in my stomach as I head towards the living room.
The ominous feeling gets stronger the closer I get, so I unconsciously speed up my steps.
Reaching the living room, I see something I'll never forget. A man, no an Angel was standing over Ruby's unconscious body. His blond hair and blue eyes standing out even in the darkness, his pure white wings currently folded behind his back and an arrogant smirk on his face.
I stood there as my mind shut down, unable to take my eyes off this scene.
The angel was staring at me with contempt, as if I was a bug in his eyes. Then he opened his mouth.
“So, you’re the one who defiled the @)$@&)$.”
I couldn't speak, I couldn't even question the situation as I stared.
“Hmm, not very talkative are you? Oh well it's not like you need to talk anyway, for the crime of defiling a @)$@&)$ before their placement, you have been sentenced to 1000 Years of prison.”
As my cognitive functions started working again, I made a rash decision to rush at him.
Before I even got two steps I was stopped, as he had appeared in front of me with his hand around my throat.
“I No.5782 hereby sentence the human John Logan Axel, to prison sector No.0001 Codenamed: Purgatory
The last thing I saw on this world was his face, still holding that arrogant smirk on his lips. Then a bright light hit me.
