Chapter 4
Lin Feng tried his best to not think of anything as he stared into the blank ceiling. He was currently getting his legs stretched by his sister but that wasn't the main issue.
"How's it?" Lin Meng whispered softly into his ears. Her comfortable touch sent his heart racing. He was starting to fall into an inescapable pit. The deeper he fell into it, the less fragmented his heart became. Every second he spent with her made him feel... full. Full of life and energy. This life and energy would come crashing into his soul, giving him the will to live.
But he didn't want that. Because that would mean... what he did to himself would be pointless. He abandoned everything including his own life when Feng Weinai betrayed him. He couldn't forgive himself for doing such a thing at first but Lin Meng's loving care made him think otherwise. His heart no longer ached when he thought about Feng Weinai, only emptiness.
He wanted to fill this empty void in his heart desperately and there was only one way for it to be filled- love. He felt incredibly conflicted. If he found love again, wouldn't it be the same as what Feng Weinai did to him? Doesn't that mean that he would also deserve death? But he already died and came back to life. Does he really have any connections left with his former wife? He doesn't know what to do.
"What's wrong?" Lin Meng concernedly asked when she saw Lin Feng in a daze and stopped her enticing whisperings.
"I just blanked out. Don't worry about it." Lin Feng tried to smile to reassure her.
"Is that so?" there were still some doubts left in Lin Meng. "I should call the doctor just to be safe."
Lin Feng was overcame with warmness. Lin Meng's love touched him. Perhaps it was time to let go. This was a new world after all.
Lin Meng returned a few minutes later with Teng Yuhan. "He was blanking out for a while just now."
Doctor Teng nodded and checked Lin Feng's condition. "Nothing unusual... It's probably because he just came back from his coma. Nothing to worry about, CEO Lin."
"It's already been 2 months. Should this really be happening?" Lin Meng wasn't convinced.
"It takes many months for the patient's brain to completely wake up from a coma. This is very normal." Teng Yuhan reassured her.
"Alright. I'll call you if something happens." Lin Meng accepted it and took a seat next to Lin Feng again while Teng Yuhan nodded and left the room.
"Sorry for leaving so suddenly." Lin Meng took hold of Lin Feng's hand with both hands.
"It's fine. Can you help me up?"
"Of course." Lin Meng smiled, showing her pearly white teeth and placed one hand on Lin Feng's back and one hand on his chest. Before lifting him up, she moved her body closer to Lin Feng before lifting him up. Because she had to move closer, her plump breasts came into contact with Lin Feng's arm, sending an electric current through both of them.

"I can feel your heartbeat." Lin Meng cheekily whispered as she took her hand off Lin Feng's back but left one on his chest.
Lin Feng's face heated up, "Let me feel yours too."
Lin Meng's lovely pair of breasts were still touching Lin Feng's arm so she pushed them further in, overwhelming Lin Feng with softness.
"Like this?" she erotically said.
Lin Feng breathed heavily and became more daring, "Let me use my hand."
She didn't refuse and helped him lift him arm up to her chest. His sister was wearing her professional attire with a white low tank under a black blazer so he could see a slight shadow of a cleavage peeping out. It was very tempting to touch. Lin Feng doesn't dare to blatantly touch her so he placed his hand over her heart and half squeezed her perky bosoms.
They stared deeply into each other's eyes. One young, bedridden boy with his hand over the heart of a gorgeous woman that exudes a lethal mature, gentle charm. The woman also had her unblemished, pale hands over the boy's heart. The wind quietly blew through the window next to the bed and the white curtains flew along under the guidance of the wind. It was an extremely picturesque scene.
"cough cough"
The pair broke out of their bonding moment and noticed another woman standing in front of the bed. She had shoulder length black hair with eyes black as the void. Small, pink lips with dimples and a straight nose. Apart from her lovely features, her most prominent feature was her white uniform. It had golden accents all throughout with a golden rope tied around her right shoulder and 2 5-pointed star badges on the collar of her shirt. 8 rows of ribbons on her left chest signifying her achievement and various medals of success right beneath it. Her right chest had a nametag written "RAN" with 5 more red and golden badges stacked above it. Even an idiot would realize that she was a general under the government when they saw her uniform
"Kuangnu!" Lin Meng joyfully greeted and hugged the stranger. They were both the same height so both their ample bosoms squished against one another. Ran Kuangnu's medals clinked and clanked under the pressure of the hug.
"You guys were so into each other that you didn't even notice me enter the room~" Ran Kuangnu teased.
Lin Meng smiled under her remark and lead her by the hand to have her sit next to Lin Feng's bed.
"I talked about her a little bit before. This is my best friend, Ran Kuangnu." Lin Meng introduced the general.
"I wonder what Mengmeng said to you about me?" She smiled, showing her lovely dimples.
"She just told me that you guys live together. Never told me that you were a warrior..." Lin Feng cheekily said. He had a good impression of her.
"Warrior!" Both ladies chuckled.
They continued to make small talks as time allowed them to. It was even more obvious to Lin Feng that Lin Meng was an important figure. Even he did not have the privilege of making friends with the general in his previous life. It was also very apparent that their friendship was genuine so Lin Feng could rest his heart easy.
"Oh right. I dropped by to give you this." Ran Kuangnu suddenly remembered what she was her for and pulled out a vial with blue liquid out of nowhere.
"This is?" Lin Meng raised an eyebrow.
"Just some medicine. It should help him recover faster. This is some good stuff so you should take it right away~" Ran Kuangnu waved it in front of Lin Meng.
Lin Meng uncorked the bottle and took a whiff and made a strange face, "..."
"No problem! No problem!" Ran Kuangnu already humbled herself before anyone thanked her and left the room before anyone even noticed.
"What's wrong with it?" Lin Feng curiously asked.
"Nothing. nothing." Lin Meng shook her head and brought the vial to Lin Feng's face. "Don't gag."
The blue liquid smoothly flowed into Lin Feng's throat. Before he could say anything, he was already deep asleep.
