It turns out my mom is the disowned daughter of the duke of a port town near the sea and since she didn’t have any QI she was considered useless so she went and married my father to get away from it all. Now that I am here she doesn’t have to be disowned anymore and return to her family head held up high, as I was walking back home with mom the alchemist from before was standing at the door way speaking to dad. My father had a complicated look on his face but he soon changed it when he saw us coming.
“Oh hello Mr. Chu may I know what business you have with us?” (Mom)
“I came here to ask if your son wants to make a contract with the alchemist guild?” (Mr. Chu)
“I am sorry but we are planning on moving to the port town crystal and I have heard the guild is corrupt over there so I am sorry but we have to refuse.” (Mom)
“How about making a contract with me and I get transferred over, would that be alright?” (Mr. Chu)
“Well if my son agrees then it’s okay.” (Mom)
“I am okay with it as long as my products are only sold in mom’s store, but also will you share materials with us until we can afford better ingredients ourselves.” (Me)
“Alright but I am more interested in your ability to make pills from legendary rank beasts.” (Chu)
“if that is what you need I can probably make four a day until I can master my abilities.” (Me)

We sent Chu away and went inside, mom made dinner as I went to my spot in front of the fireplace and started drawing a blueprint on a house I want to build in the future when I move out to be by myself.
“What are you drawing over there?” (Dad)
“My house when I grow up.” (Me)

Elder Chu’s Pov
After I left the family I went to meet with the elders and check on mike’s condition which seemed much better than what it was.
“How are you Mike?” (Me)
“Much better now and it feels like I still can use a small part of the pills effects and I am closer to a break through now after consuming the pill I wonder what would happen if I cultivated while I had that pills effects still going.” (Mike)
“It would be beneficial however think about what happed when the pill wore off.” (Old Man1)
“I know but still I think it would be worth it, Gramps Chu can you tell me where this master is that you found?” (Mike)
“That is why I am here I came because I want to transfer to the crystal branch to stay with the master I have found, there are also some conditions for him working for us though but they are actually very simple requests.” (Me)
“What might those be?” (Old Man3)
“First is he does business with only me, second he will only sell his products in a store he has given permission to, and third is we provide the materials he needs until he can afford them himself.” (Me)
“Is he naïve or something, no master would ask for such easy requests for his work.” (Old Man2)
“Be wary of what you speak this master is neither Naïve or have a few screws loose, I can say full of confidence that he is smarter than all of us combined.” (Me)
“So why does he not ask for more?” (Mike)
“If he asks for too much he will strain the relationship between us while if he asks for too little we think him easy to manipulate, also the request to only deal with me instead of the guild is to keep the corrupt groups in the guild away from himself.” (Me)
“Is that really what he is trying to do, the way it sounds is he wants to use one person because he knows it is easier to turn one person on your side instead of multiple and who would be better than the alchemist guild’s vice president.” (Old Man1)
“We will see, I know he will do great things for us in the future that is for sure.” (Me)
