So. New gods. Heroes from their stories. Heres a fun idea to play with since we have all the time in the world. Return to the beginning of their story, (usual returner benefits such as their memory, and skill) but include a guide on exactly what to do to get the perfect ending. How is this guide written might you ask? Just look at the ending of every single possible timeline and pick out whatever seems perfect to you. Then look at that entire timeline and then its just the matter of acting out what you saw. A nostaliga trip and quite probably just pummeling the shit out of enemies who were once hard to defeat since you have the skills of millions of years of training from the very start (and knowledge of their weaknesses). If this is a world with systems and RNG then apply absolute luck (should be rather obvious but will get into detail later). For some new gods it will be their first return, for others their second more perfect return. For another run perhaps bring everyone with you in the return, perhaps by posession of an ally or supporting character, posession and ressurection of some dead person, or just spawning in a body. At that point it will be a complete steamroll... Many god smurfs just destroying whatever is in their way. Entertain this thought. With whatever story you fancy.
