Things have been dead for a while here. For whatever its worth I'm sorry about how things have gone. I never really expected this fiction to take off as much as it did, which may seem small in comparison to the giants of Royal Road that we've all read, but which feels so much more massive when its happening to you. I won't lie, it is always a bit nerve-wracking to hit publish on a new chapter, and a massive ego boost when people liked it.

That was a huge part of why I set aside my other writing projects to focus on Gobbo, and a part of why I dropped off the site three years ago. Its also a part of why I'm trying to make my comeback and why I need your help.

The next chapter is something that I've been building up to for a while, so I felt it had to be perfect. This isn't me saying that I've finally wrote the perfect chapter, far from it. In many ways the next chapter is still rougher than other chapters, something which may be inevitable given how it is more complicated than any other chapter so far. I've had it mostly finished for years and have been locked down by anxiety regarding its quality and whether anyone else can even understand my bullshit or if I've simply been blinded because I already know every new secret I'm trying to reveal.

This still might have come out years ago if I'd someone else to give the chapter a pass, but my proofreader was a little too busy with his own life, so I'd like to ask you instead. If you cared enough to click on an update for a dead fiction that isn't even a new chapter maybe you'll care enough to help me get this out there.
