I see view like in those movies where people enter in "hyperspace" or "Warp" like state. White dot's are flying past me st high speed creating long lines and then light blinds me. As I open my eyes I see tranquill medieval scenery. Small river not far from me, old house that made from stone with straw roof and endless plains. Aren't I supposed to create a character before entering a game? I hear a hoarse voice from the house.
-"Come in adventurer!!"
I do as I told and enter the house. Inside is unusually bright and there's a furniture that is totally from another era. What era would you think?? Well, go to nearest shop and you'll see. At the table sit's old man in a tuxedo and write's something.
-"Stop standing like a statue, sit down" Once again I do as I'm told.
-"Em.. aren't I supposed to create a character before entering a game?"
Old man stopped writing and raised his head.
-"You are in creation space"
-"Oh, okay?"
-"Here you go"
He handles me piece of old paper.. NOT!! There appeared a sci-fi screen before me with shapes of different races and empty box. Really, what's the point of outside look?
-"Enter your name first"
-"Okay... how about Troy?"
-"Accepted. There's 11 races in total, for now. Others can be opened at a latter time. You can change race only if you're first who discovered it or by paying a fee." I started browsing the list of available races. As usually there is: humans, dwarves, elves, gnomes, beastkin, orcs. I complained.
-"Isn't it only 6 races and their variations?"
-"Even variations are counted as other races"
I spotted "list" button on screen and press it. Images of races are gone and list appeared:
* Humans
* Humans of North tribes
* Forest Elves
* Dark Elves
* Cat Beast Tribe
* Dog Beast Tribe
* Cow Beast Tribe
* Earth dwarves
* Sky Dwarves
* Gnomes
* Plain Orcs
* Demi-Human
This is easier to see. But still.
-"What is a Cow Beast Tribe?"
-"It's a tribe within Beastkin that specialize in power. They live in Horalia Plains."
-"No, I get it... just why cow?"
-"Are you questioning human nature?"
-"What?"
-"Let's see example of 2 races. Here is a human girl"
there appeared a pretty human girl, with a slender figure.
-"And now let's see this girl but from Cow tribe race"
There appeared the same human girl with cow ears, tail and...
-"Holy cow, what a.... huge potential!!!"
-"Right? And since it's a race feature, it can be customized!!"
-"Is it not obstructing with moving or other actions?"
-"Don't know. When you see someone from their tribe you can ask. But don't blame me for consequences."
-"Alright, I won't. Next then, Sky dwarves."
-"It's dwarves sub-species that live on a floating island Kortuaga. They specialize in studying of magic but they are only slightly better in magic than normal dwarves."
-"And Demi-Humans are?"
-"You can say they are animals in human form. Some says that they are mutation of beast tribes. But they live in harmony with beast tribe and aren't discriminated. In terms of specialty, they are like humans – average in all."
-"Oh now I get it"
Since I played many games before, I can assume what other races are. Now for a main question. Since it's a fantasy, it must be that right?
-"Who is the best among them in magic?"
-"That depends on what type of magic you want to use and type of job"
-"If I can guess right then let's call it classic DPS type mage"
-"Then it's Forest Elves, Cat Tribe, Sky dwarves. Humans and gnomes are average."
Hmm being elf mage is not bad, maybe...
-"What races of them can start in Crystaria?"
-"Humans, Forest Elves and Cat Tribe."
Let's see, humans are for the last so..
-"Show me as elf race"
What I see is a dazzling blonde with pointy ears. Is it male or female? And question pops in my mind: Can I even see this as a man? No way. Denied!!
-"Next, Cat tribe"
What stands before me is a stylish man. Black hair, green slit pupils, black ears and fluffy black tail. Who hates the cats? No one!!
-"I will go with this race"
-"Alright. You can customize color of you hair, eyes, ears and tail. There are different types of ears and tails."
-"Then... show me eyes with golden color."
Color changed from green to golden. Wow that's so cool!!
-"Great"
-"Your starting point is Crystaria, Almaz Kingdom, I presume?"
-"Yes"
-"Good luck, may Sartania bless you"
My conscious begins to fade away.... I open my eyes and see another medieval scenery. No, to be precise it's a fantasy scenery. That is sooo awesome. Even real life is not that colorful.
-"Hey noob, don't stand in a middle of street"
-"Oh sorry"
I step aside and look around, there is a small space between houses, so I walk there.
-"Awesome feelings"
I'm kind of light and have better balance, I guess. Must be cats traits. But I think it's better not to try falling from higher places. When I though of cat traits I remembered claws and my nails started to grow longer and I can move my tail!
-"Cool"
Well then, next is my status. In those grains of information I gained were voice commands that can be utilized, basic fighting tips and what to do to obtain basic profession.

Not much but expected. Only interesting part is bag. Even though it says equipment, bag is nowhere to be found. That's because it's magic tool, people call it "Dimension space".

And I see... nothing. No I don't mean there's nothing happening, just beside small dot and marker, that is me, everything else is black. Good old "Fog of War".
Now I need to find magic teacher, question is "where?". Well NPCs will help is a trend in a MMORPG. Need a quest – ask NPC. Need a direction – ask NPC. Easy. Or so I thought. I don't know who is who. Who is NPC and who is player. I can't see any shops on this street so thats out of a question. The only choice is guards. I start walking in search of any guars.
After walking for a minute I spotted couple of guardsmen.
-"Hello, can I ask something?"
-"Hello young man, I see that you are new here?"
-"Yes, my name is Troy, I only came here."
-"Good, there are many new faces these days. Oh and my name is Bran, and this silent fellow is Sark. So what do you want to know?"
When he introduced himself and his partner above them appeared name tag. Oh I now I get it.
-"I want to find magic teacher."
-"Too bad you don't want to be a soldier hahaha"
I don't know whats so funny, let's to ignore it.
"You need to go to magic institute then."
I already don't like this name, it reminds me of past hell.
-"Can you see four towers there? That is the place"
He points in a direction left of the castle.
-"Yes I can see them, thank you."
-"You're welcome. If you change your mind and decide to become a soldier, you can ask any guard on direction."
-"No thanks, bye."
I start to run away. I bet he just wants to recruit me to lessen his job. Dream on! As I turn around the corner, I already start to breath heavely, so I stop to respire. After 20 seconds I started to walk. I guess my stamina is too low and roughly 100m is my limit for now. After awhile I start to run again, again and again. After 20 minutes of running I stand before institute and I gained my first skill.
